~Kashin~
~Thump thump~
How does that famous saying go... old habits die hard... or sometimes not at all...
~Thump thump~
Nobody wants a bad habit to interfere with their good life, like how you wouldn't want your past to interfere with your present, but sometimes our old ways have ways of coming back on there own... even if we don't want them to...
~Thump thump~
"Kashin..." I heard Father call as he looked around the forest for me.
We were training again, today Father was supposed to try and help me gain better control of my chakra, my beast chakra specifically. The slightest threat can trigger my change and strong emotions that come with it don't help when I try to contain it.
"Where'd you run off to?" Father called again.
We tried to use up all my strength, so the 'red' chakra would take over and we could work on it, but it didn't go the way we thought. The last time I changed I had control, but today... today the beast had control. I sat in my tree, watching the silver head man look around for me as he walked. I growled softly to myself before positioning myself for an attack. Father must have heard the rustling of the leaves because he turned to look straight at me. I jumped at him, just missing him before I went rolling.
"Ok, found you...," Father said to himself, getting into a fighting stance as I stood.
"Kashin, breath... ok, this chakra is inside you..." He tried to talk me out of it.
I lowered onto all fours, growling as I began to circle Father.
"Make it obey you..." He copied my movements.
I snapped at him, my tails flaring above me. I halted my strides, seeing Father do the same before I smirked, jumping toward him. He tried to jump back but his back hit a tree, shocking him before he snapped his head to my approaching form. He jumped up at the last minute, swinging in the tree and jumping over me, rolling along the floor before turning to face me and readying himself for the next attack. Me on the other hand, because Father had moved, I slammed head first into the tree, ripping it partly out of the ground and shattering the base, sending the top half flying off somewhere.

"Ok then, will remember to keep clear of that..." I heard Father mumble.
I shook my head, grunting at the feeling and turning back to look at Father.
"Kashin, calm down, ok, you can control it..." Father spoke.
I looked sideways at the tree stump, twisting my tails together before thrusting it into the wood and ripping it all the way out of the ground, holding it over my head before hurling it at my Father. He jumped out of the way, watching the stump fly through other trees before I tackled him to the ground.
"Crap!" Father blocked the attacks I made.
"Come on concentrate! You can overcome it!" Father moved his head to the side as I thrusted my tails towards it.
I paused, breathing heavily as I stared wide eyed at the male beneath me.
"That's it," Father breathed, noticing my internal fight for control.
I groaned, feeling my body suddenly become very uncomfortable, almost as if it wasn't a right fit, before I closed my eyes and clenched my teeth, stumbling back.
"Kashin?" Father put a hand on my shoulder.
My head shot up so my gaze was skyward before my body grew hot, fiery hot, I stumbled back and grabbed my head in pain. I cried out in discomfort, falling to my knees before my whole body morphed into red flesh, my hands growing claws and my head ears. My tails grew in both width and length, I felt my teeth change to fangs my whole body spazzing before my head went blank and my body turned back to normal. My head lowered and I looked at my Father.
"Hey?" He slowly stepped toward me.
I closed my eyes, my body falling forward and collapsing on the ground.
"Kashin!" I heard Father call to me before the world around me went from coloured to white to black, and I was swallowed into the silence.
Then next thing I knew, I was waking up in my bed with my small fan going and a wet towel on my forehead. I groaned, sitting up and catching the piece of cloth as it fell from my face. I wore no shirt and had a few band aids littering my body along with a very cringeworthy amount of sweat. I twisted my upper torso, stretching my aching back before sighing deeply. Every muscle in my body hurt, and I felt exhausted, as if I hadn't slept in weeks. I looked around my room, my eyes catching my desk, seeing two glasses of water sitting on it and I instantly jumped up, downing the first in seconds before grabbing the second and pouring it over myself. Sighing in slight relief as the water cooled my scolding skin, I turned, turning the fan to face the wall before sliding down to sit in front of it, allowing the strong wind to blow against the remaining water on my skin, cooling me even more.

"Is it the first time it's happened?" I heard as my door opened.
"Yes," Fathers voice sounded.
"Kashin?"
I looked up from my seat on the floor, seeing Lord Naruto and Father standing before me.
"Yes?" I breathed, realizing how out of breath I sounded.
"How are you feeling?" Lord Naruto knelt next to me.
"Like every muscle in my body was torn apart and set on fire..." I pant.
"May I?" He asked putting his hand out toward me.
I nodded, closing my eyes and continuing to pant as the older male placed his hand to my forehead.
"Is this the first time you've experienced that transformation?" He asked pulling away.
I nodded, leaning my head back against the wall and closing my eyes, turning my attention back to the wind the fan provided me with.
"Well, it's having a much more aggressive effect on you then it did for me, luckily it drains to much energy to allow us to do any real damage, I would advice against using it to much though, it takes a serious toll on our bodies." Lord Naruto told me as he stood.
I nodded again, dropping my head so the wind blew through my wet hair too.
"The next time it happens, call me, I might have more luck getting through to him with Kuruma, maybe I can help him learn to control the change better." The soon to be Lord told Father.
"I will, thank you Naruto." He placed a hand on his students shoulder.
"Any time, rest up kid, it gets easier, promise," And with that, he was gone.
"Are you ok?" Father knelt next to me.
"Are... are you?" I asked looking over him.
"Yes," He nodded.
I sighed a smile.
"I'm sorry," I added dropping my head again.
"For what?" He asked.
"I couldn't... control it..." I said.
"That's ok, it was your first try, like Naruto said it will get easier, we just need to come up with a better method, one that doesn't leave you in this state." Father placed his had on my shoulder.
"You're still burning up," He mumbled to himself before standing and walking out of my room.
I groaned, hitting my head against that wall before Father walked back in with two more glasses of water.
"Here," He handed me one.
I downed it in under a second again, taking the second and pouting it over myself again too.
"Ok," Father chuckled.
"Sorry... I'm just so..." I panted.
"It's ok, I know," He nodded before taking both glasses and exiting my room.
I brought my knees up, laying my arms on them before laying my head down and closing my eyes, falling asleep.

Tom Is Chill
An eye for an eye may make the whole world go blind but at least that f***er can't see either. The early bird gets the worm but I go to the grocery store so screw you. Technically humans don't need to breathe. If no one had any more children everyone would be dead in the next one hundred fifty years probably. Does this count as a synopsis? No? Okay. Tom murders a bunch of dudes. *Tom Dies*. Tom is reborn. Tom doesn't want to be reborn but no one really cares. Tom is born in a new world. He didn't really have to be though. Cause his old world had magic and all. I don't want to give anything away. I swear this fiction is more serious than I am I just find it hard to write a synopsis. Maybe I should write something like this. "Follow Earnheart Super Maximus on his gender-bender super adventures that are exciting and often humorous as he gathers a bunch of chicks for literally no reason." I mean that's what everyone else does and it seems to work.

The Human Traitor
Nearly two centuries ago, humanity committed a grievous taboo and liberated itself from the Worldrenders, a race of seemingly immortal creatures that dominates two of the three continents. The humans established the seven Foretoken families, swearing to never live in captivity again. In the present day, there is nothing but peace and poverty in Truweld. A poor young woman makes her money from raiding the Worldrenders' plantations. Meanwhile, a genius inventor, a man born from a Foretoken family, idles his days and his talent away. And from the northern mountains, the home of the Worldrenders, a boy with a troubled past marches to the land of the humans. He calls himself a Worldrender and wields their powers. His objective is simple: he will conquer the humans or exterminate them all. This is an epic fantasy story featuring three protagonists, a slew of high fantasy races, and several mysteries at its core. There is a minimum of one chapter (1000 words or more) each week. This story is also being posted on r/HFY.
