"Do you want to die, Shikamaru?", Hanako says with annoyance.

"Are you sure with killing me? It might make your Naruto-kun angry.", Shikamaru teases the poor girl.

"I don't even why know I'm dealing with you right now."

"Because you're lonely without Naruto-kun.", he does it once more.

"Oh please, you think I need him in order to be happy? I'm fine by myself.", she scoffs at him.

"Alright, I'll make sure telling him that you don't need him to be happy.", Shikamaru rebuts.

"O-oi! You won't right? C'mon I thought we were just kidding.", Shikamaru chuckles at her response.

I can't believe Naruto can make her act like that.

"We're here.", Sakura announces her arrival with Shiho.

"Maybe the six Pains were genjutsus.", Shikamaru suggested, "A jutsu created by the female Akatsuki member who was also said to be present."

"And she was the one who physically attacked Lord Jiraiya.", Hanako suddenly says, causing to make Shikamaru look at her.

"Exactly, from the shadows."

Hanako gave him a thumbs up before looking back at Sakura and Shiho.

She's smart and can easily pick-up clues as well.

"No, that's hard to imagine.", Sakura exhales before saying, "According to Lord Fukasaku, Lord JIraiya died from being stabbed by real weapons wielded by the six of them."

Shikamaru looks down, thinking some more.

"Well, he took down three of them, but they supposedly resurrected themselves." Sakura adds, "It does sound like an unbelievable genjutsu."

I hate genjutsus.

Hanako thought before Shikamaru speaks up.

"Common sense has no meaning when it comes to the Akatsuki. There have been others who were immortal."

"In any case, let's keep hypothesizing all possible scenarios until we get reports from others.", Shiho says.

"Alright!", Hanako says with a smile and determination.

"You're right.", Shikamaru agrees with Shiho.

"Let's at least be a little closer to solving Pain's mystery by the time Naruto returns from his training.", Sakura says.

Naruto-kun, I hope you're doing fine.

Hanako feels a wave of nervousness, it was as if she was in danger. She stood up from her chair and looks around.

"What is it?", Shikamaru asks with concern.

"Something's wrong.", as those words come out of Hanako's mouth, the room suddenly shakes violently.

"What was that?", Shikamaru and the others ran to the windows which revealed buildings that are on smoke.

"What's that?", Sakura says.

"Let's go.", Shikamaru instructs the group.

People are running in fear while buildings are continuously being destroyed. This shocked Hanako, so much chaos was going on in one moment, it was overwhelming for the girl.

She watches as Sakura begins to run at a huge centipede that seems to attack a small girl and an elderly woman. Hanako quickly runs to help Sakura who gave a big punch to the creature.

"Cha!", Sakura punches the monster, making it lean back.

"Hya!", the Shinozaki exclaimed as she heavily kicks the creature, leaving it immobilized on the ground.

"Are you alright?", Sakura asks the elderly woman and the child.

"Uh-huh.", the child answers while hugging her grandmother.

"Thank you so much.", the elderly woman says.

The little girl cried, making Sakura run over to them, quickly taking action to heal the child's wound.

This is horrible, innocent people are being hurt.

"Sakura! Are you alright?", Iruka asks as he runs up to the group.

"Iruka-sensei!", Sakura exclaims.

"What the hell is going on?", Hanako asks with concern.

"I don't know.", Iruka shakes his head, "But someone is attacking the Leaf Village."

No shit.

Hanako frowns, trying to figure out what could possibly be happening next.

Suddenly, another building exploded. Iruka quickly ran before saying, "Sakura! Go to the hospital and tend to the wounded. It's full of injured people."

"Yes Sir!"

Hanako senses another explosion that was about to take place at the side of civilians. She quickly ran to the building and raises her hand. A boom was heard but there were no debris found scattering.

"Hanako..", Sakura says.

How did she do that?

The Shinozaki was able to shield people from the explosion by engulfing it in a dome that seemed to be like a shield.

What is this?

"Go! Quickly!", Hanako shouts at those who were nearby.

She lets go and jumps away before the building finally collapses.

"Sakura, let's go."

Hanako fetches medicine, food, and water to all the injured people scattered in the hospital. She was growing angrier each passing moment.

What kind of hatred can lead to this outcome?

She watches Sakura treating patients here and there.

Once again, a wave of pain and nervousness washes over Hanako's body, making her fall down.

"Hanako-chan! Are you alright?", Sakura asks with concern.

"Something is coming! I'll be right back Sakura-chan, continue on what you're doing.", Hanako says as she runs out of the hospital

She run towards this massive force that was about to go down, she looks up and sees a cloaked-figure up the sky.

There! What is he doing?!

She falls down from the feeling that keeps on invading her body. Her breathing became more and more ragged as she panics, knowing what was about to come.

Before the Shinozaki takes cover, she hears a voice boom her ears.

"Almighty Push!"

A bright light surrounded her vision, she attempts to cover her face but only to her dismay as her body crashes into debris and fallen objects.

"Ack!", she lets out a yelp of pain, feeling her body slam into a hard wall. She tastes blood from her mouth as she spits it out. She feels tears in her eyes, not being able to hold it in.

Luckily, the slug that the Hokage has assigned to protect them was just in time to stop another massive damage to be afflicted on the girl. Hanako passes out from the amount of pain that she went through. She was in the eye of the damage, giving her the most damage out of all the people who were there.

"Naruto, hurry.", Hanako hears as her vision adjusts to see what was going on. Her body was released from the slug, healing some of her injuries.

"Naruto, please!", she hears a cry from a familiar voice.

Seconds passed before another explosion was heard. Hanako looks at the direction and saw a puff of smoke that revealed a certain blonde.

Hanako felt tears in her eyes once more.

Naruto, what took you so long?
