《Adopted by Dr. Schneeplestein》Ch. I: Birth

Pain. It was all your mother felt when she was giving birth to you. She thought it was worth it, though. Just for you, the light of her life. She was grateful, she loved you so much even though she didn't even know your gender or what you even looked like.
She still loved you.
Then tragedy struck. She felt herself seize up. She was going into shock. Then blood poured out. Lots of it. She couldn't handle the pain anymore. But she was still grateful; Just for you.
Her heart stopped. The heart monitor flatlined and the alarm went off to notify the staff. Dr. Schneeplestein was the head doctor.
He had to go to the bathroom for a couple of minutes, and that costed a life. He regretted ever leaving your mother alone. But he couldn't hold it in much longer and today was a busy day for the staff, so no one could afford to leave their post and designated area.
"Ah, Mrs. , I have exactly vhat you need for your--" he began before noticing that she wasn't moving or speaking. "Mrs. ?" He asked nervously. He felt her wrist and neck for a pulse. Nothing.
"No. NONONONO," he screamed with hot tears streaming down his reddening face. "MRS. !!"
A nurse that happened to stroll near the room on their way from the bathroom heard Dr. Schneep crying and screaming. "Henrik, what's wrong," she asked, running to his side.
"She's dead," Schneeplestein screamed. "Und it's because of me!"
"No, it's not," she replied. "What happened?"
"I left her alone for about zree minutes to go use ze bazroom und she bled out und I zink she had a seizure, causing her to go into shock," Scheeplestein answered.
"Henrik, people die every day! It's part of life!" The nurse said. "Let's go report this and notify her family... Wait! Wasn't she pregnant? Where's the baby??"

"Ze baby!" Dr. Schneep gasped and panicked. Then he looked over and saw you. You weren't breathing.
"C'mon, let's call in some more staff," the nurse said. "Hopefully, there are some available on a busy day like this.
Schneeplestein and the nurse called in more staff, which thankfully, there were some on break. The doctor bawled his eyes out as the staffs were working to revive you. Luckily, it worked!
When you opened your eyes, you cried out and Schneeplestein ran over and picked you up, cradling you in his arms. He never meant for any of this to happen, and he wanted you to have a family.
Since then, he decided to adopt you, since you didn't have any parents.
Your name is now Schneeplestein.
