《A Guide To The Egos: Jacksepticeye》Jackie-Boy Man (Part 1)

Jackie-Boy Man
This ego is a vigilante superhero character created by Sean McLoughlin in later 2015, thus making him the oldest of the Septic egos, given that all the others were created/worked on after 2015. He's only ever been seen wearing his costume: a red suit with a hood and gloves, and blue mask.
Little is known about Jackie-Boy Man outside of his appearances on the Jacksepticeye channel; however we do know that his powers include: x-ray vision; super hearing; superior agility; and some skills in hacking/coding. We also know that he's an enemy of Antisepticeye, for what should be obvious reasons.
—Outside of his x-ray vision, Jackie-Boy Man actually has very poor eyesight.
—Jackie needs "superhero glasses" while he's unmasked, or when he's deciphering codes while in costume.
—Although for most egos the date they first appear is their birthday, Jackie-Boy Man's birthday is July 10. He originally appeared in one of Sean's videos in October.
—Jackie-Boy Man seems to have a one-sided competition with other superheros, particularly Spiderman.
—The last time there is a canon appearance of Jackie-Boy Man on Sean's channel is in 2016.
—Jackie-Boy Man does appear through 12 of the 13 videos playing "South Park: The Fractured But Whole" but Sean has said that those appearances aren't canon; this means this ego hasn't made an official appearance for nearly six years as of writing this entry.
—Despite most of his appearances not being canon, he is the Septic ego with the second most appearances on the Jacksepticeye channel (with the most appearances going to Antisepticeye).
For the most part, Jackie-Boy Man is incredibly optimistic. He's brave and compassionate, he's independent, and brave as he cherishes the thrill of saving people. He isn't one to hesitate when it comes to helping others and rarely backs down from fights. The hero is also loyal to his friends and is overall honorable. Jackie-Boy Man seems to have his heart set on being a superhero and takes pride in what he does. When he's successful he's known to sing or dance as a celebration.

However, like all superheros, he isn't without fault. Jackie can be clumsy and forgetful. On many occasions he's forgotten important tools he needed for his missions and sometimes his forgetfulness causes him to backtrack and double check the work he's done.
Jackie-Boy also tends to take things at face value and believes what he sees rather than something he's told. There are plenty of times when the hero can also be impatient and act on an impulse, and so hell rush into danger without realizing the consequences. This can easily lead to him being ambushed or blindsided in a fight. Should he feel like he's being disrespected, Jackie's positive attitude will drop and he'll become snarky.
Most of the time, however, Jackie-Boy Man remains a cheerful vigilante dedicated to helping others and keeping his city safe from those who would harm it.
Well, yeah, he is, but in the way that all superheros are dangerous.
Because he's a hero, he makes a lot of enemies in the people he fights and thwarts, and they're likely to want revenge on him for fucking up their plans. And that would be fairly easy to achieve with a hero like Jackie. All his enemies would need to do, if they couldn't target him personally, is to put an innocent person in danger and make sure the hero knows about it.
Also just hanging out with Jackie-Boy Man would be dangerous. He has abilities that the average person doesn't have so they're more likely to get injured doing something that he does on the regular—this mostly applies to parkour, which the hero has been thought to do seeing as he has no other way of getting around the city. Villains may also be on the prowl looking for him, and should any regular person be near him, they may very well be caught in the crossfire.

It's not like Jackie is actively malicious towards people or purposely putting them in danger, it just comes with the territory when being a superhero.

Cary Simms: The Fairy Mushroom Forest
From a young age, Cary Simms knew that she wasn't like the other boys her age. She didn't know why or how that was, but it seemed apparent to the bullies of her school. They would often call her names, chase after her after school, and beat her up when they could catch her. Her only protection, besides escape, was in the words of the Good Book. But that was before she stumbled into the supposedly haunted house at the end of her street. When a mysterious ring and a drawing on the back wall of the post office opened up a whole new world for her, things quickly went from weird to scary. At a new school, in a new world, surrounded by people who had access to magic, all Cary could think of was how to escape the witches that had her trapped there. It was only having her best friend by her side that gave her any comfort at all. ***This is my first attempt at a middle grade book, and would appreciate feedback. Please note, this is a second draft, and might not represent the final product.***

The Weather Vane
This is the first few chapter of my new book available on Amazon. The beginning is very light and fun, but more mature content comes later. From medieval fantasy to ultra high-tech to dinosaurs, The Weather Vane is a grippingly fast-paced adventure full of fun and excitement, literary flourish, and colorful characters. A group of ascendant masters find themselves in the afterlife and learn that they are newly recruited into the cosmic battle of good versus evil. Before they can join the fight, shipwreck strikes and they are lost in the ether. Stranded in a magical land beyond the reaches of the universe, The Weather Vane follows our crew of heroes as they try to piece things back together even while The Dark Lord’s forces march, maraud, and murder at every turn. Themes of darkness chase the overall levity of The Weather Vane which suffers not a lull as the climax begins near the beginning of the book and drives on through the greatly satisfying finish. The most epic of epics.
