I was chilling on the sofa while browsing on my phone, not even bothering to look up at whatever movie is displaying on the screen. I pushed my hair back with my free hand before reaching over the cup to take a sip of soda. I choked on my soda when I saw an unexpected post from someone, that someone who also supposedly blocked me in social media years ago.
Suddenly the door opened which made me froze and immediately look up to see who it was, Yeji entered the apartment who just came from the convenience store. It was a surprise that she managed to open the door despite holding paper bags on each hand.
, she asked sarcastically.
I gently dropped my phone on the sofa and shot to my feet, she handed me two paper bags. I wrapped my arms on the papers bags and slowly made my way to the kitchen, I placed the paper bags on the counter. I placed my hands on my hips and leaned on the counter, I closed my eyes while taking slow and deep breaths.
, I heard Yeji ask.
I hummed and opened my eyes, and I turned my head to the side to glance at my sister. Only to find my phone in her hands while she scrolled on it. I immediately rushed over to her and was about to snatch it away from her hand when she stepped aside.
I reached over for my phone once again but she warded off, until we were practically chasing and running around the living room. She jumped on the couch as she continued to browse in my phone, , I told her while attempting to catch Yeji.
, she asked while looking down at me.
I playfully rolled my eyes at her, , I replied.
, she wasn't able to finish her sentence because i cut her off.

, i tried to explain with wide eyes.
She gave me a look before stepping down the couch and giving my back my phone,, she questioned me with her eyebrows raised.
, I calmly replied and shrugged my shoulders.
She smirked at me, , she looked at me right in the eye. We both had a little staring competition before she broke eye contact and burst into laughter before patting my back.
, I glared at her. Yeji shook her head but continued chuckling, I huffed and ruffled my own hair. , i whined.
She brought her hand to brought my hair out of my face,
, I tried to convince myself. , i was cut off.
, Yeji interrupted me.
I shook my head and gave her a small smile, , i said.
, she explained.
I squinted my eyes and stood up straight,
, she added.
, I argued.
She chuckled, , Yeji said.
, I told her.
, she ordered.
I nodded, , I agreed. I brought my hand on her hair and began ruffling before running for my life. Knowing that she's after me because I messed up her hair.
I rolled over for the nth time before another low grunt escaped my lips, my eyes are already perfectly still but my thoughts wouldn't stop running around in my head. My thoughts scatter around the place as i couldn't help but think about what would happen tomorrow morning.
I finally opened my eyes with a visible scowl on my face, I reached out for my phone on the nightstand to check the time. I squinted my eyes due to the bright of my phone before setting it back down on the night stand. It was currently 1:40 am and school starts about less than 6 hours from now.
I stared up in the ceiling, wondering what i should do at this rate of hour. I debated whether I'm going to check on my sister, which is only on the other room beside mine. But figured that she might be sleeping already due that she wasn't able to sleep properly in the plane earlier.

I placed both arms behind my head and closed my eyes tightly. I remained perfectly still, praying that I'd be able to drain out these thoughts and will stop worrying about tomorrow. As well as hoping that I'd drift off to dreamland as soon as possible because there's not much hours left before school starts.
After 10 minutes passed, which felt like an hour, a long sigh escaped my lips. I accepted my defeat I really won't be able to sleep with these thoughts running in my head. When I peeled my eyes open, I was met with a sight of an angel or my former girlfriend.
My breath hitched on my throat as I stared at her with wide eyes, I remained silent while observing her. She had her eyes closed while breathing softly and her hair sprawled across my pillow. Here she was, the person who made the biggest impact in my life even before I left.
She changed, like a lot. Her hair definitely grew a lot longer, her skin became more fair, and more gorgeous. This wasn't the Heejin that I left a year ago, this was a lot better. I didn't know what to do and only remained frozen.
Her eyes finally fluttered open and we locked eyes together. She was the first to one to break eye contact, she giggled slightly before shooting you a small smile. I closed my eyes and threw an arm on her waist. I pulled her closer to me, holding her tight because you're afraid that she might go anywhere and leave you.
When I opened my eyes again, I was only hugging my bolster closer to me. I stood up straight and stared at my bolster with wide eyes. I roughly rubbed my eyes with the back of my neck before staring back once again at my bolster.
I ruffled my hair in frustration before flopping back down on my bed. Closing my eyes shut before opening them once again, in hopes that she'll come back. But was only met by an empty space like before. She was no longer there like she wasn't even there in the first place.
I threw an arm over my face and bit my lower lip, when I came into realization. A chuckle escaped from my lips, , I mumbled to myself.

They didn't move for a thousand years... "Admiral Grant," the King suddenly shouted. The soldier's head snapped up in surprise. "Yes, Your Majesty?" "Wake the Giant." The rust peeled off like dead skin, falling into the ocean and revealing the shining metal body beneath. The ground shook as the gears began to turn, their grinding heard for miles.
