"Hello?"
"Well--"
"That's a weird store policy."
"Well, I've never felt so confident in my veganism as I do now."
"Fine. IT WAS SO GOOD. I mean, if you want honesty in its finest form, Fine-Apple Guy, I feel renewed. Personally revolutionized. Like my entire existence has been transformed. I feel like a new man."
"Oh right, your name's actually Tinkerbell, isn't it?"
"Yeah, good thing I'm on an iPhone."
"I take it you aren't."
"The way you said that implies it's not completely accurate at all."
"Well... you won't tell me your real name, you apparently have a history with my girlfriend, and third, you're just a plain weirdo. Forgive me if I've been trying to uh... validate your existence."
"Name's Kale, bro."
"That's because your voice sounds like an inebriated surfer."
"I can't even tell if that's legitimate gratitude or just sarcasm. It wasn't even supposed to be a compliment."
"... Um... you're a weirdo, Nicholas. I don't know what else to say."
"Whatever."
"It's Kale."
"Kale isn't even a fruit, man."
"... Believe it or not, I'm not a fruit either. That might be a tough one to swallow. Literally."
"Yeah, also remember how you were going to tell your side of the story first? I'm ready anytime you want to start."
"That's like you asking 'do you really want to order fruit from me again?' --Yes, but the more time you spend yakking about doing it the less interested I become. Satisfied?"
"So, get on with it then."

"..."
"... Yes?"
"Then why are you doing it?"
"Yeah, you really should. If this were a book, I'd be so mad at the author for dragging out your obnoxious evasiveness and filling it with your weirdness."

a/n: if you appreciate that little fourth-wall breaking I did to roast myself a little bit for how long I've been unnecessarily dragging out the writing of this story, then yay!!!! if not, well sorry. i thought it would be a decent kale attempt at savagery. you really gotta let the guy live sometimes.
so here's the deal: i'm going to try to finish this book before the anniversary of its first publishing, which is september 12. it might be difficult, but i think you guys deserve it. what do you say?
love and fresh mangoes,

Infinity Tomes - Legacy of the Ancients
In an enigmatic world filled with mysterious powers and treasures, a place where the strong dominates and the weak perish, a young boy has the ability to change the fate set by the gods. This is the legend of Ryu, a young boy who inherited the legacy of the Ancients and became a renowned hero. With respect, envy and fear people and deities alike address him as the The Anomaly, Supreme Martial Lord, Peerless Sword God, and Invincible under the Heavens. However, he first must go through a painful journey to discover his true path. I started writing this story in 2012 and took a long hiatus due to personal problems. After nearly a decade, I hope to continue this story and release one chapter a week. I will also be retconning/polishing existing chapters if time permits. Life is too short for regrets. Thank you for all the encouraging messages I got over the years.

In The Tall Grass
Elizabeth Wilson commits suicide. She was the golden girl among her peers in Darkwood, Washington who stood above the pressure of her drug-ridden town. Explore the summer before her senior year that triggered the domino effect of Elizabeth's emotional and psychological breakdown that lead her to take her own life. This is the prequel to the main story, Petrichor and was never intended to be made. I wrote this because I wanted to explore Elizabeth's character and show how the main characters have changed since this event. I decided to release this first because Petrichor is undergoing a full rewrite. In the meantime, I'm writing a side story called Mourning Glory that takes place between the second and third act of Petrichor. Development is going rather fast so I suggest to to read that if you like this story

The Precursor Paradox
Mankind. Their legends are legion amongst the stars but most agree that their empire once spanned a thousand worlds. The myths speak of stellar mages and their battles against primordial beasts to bring life into a barren universe. Whatever their story, the humans vanished and left behind wondrous wrecks of ancient technology. In times of desperate need, some may claim, they will return once more. If those voices are to be believed, an ancient space station at the border of the galaxy speaks ill portents. Waking from a slumber aeons long, it brought with it the last of the humans it had kept in stasis. Enter a story of magic and technology where mages battle with lightning and spaceships alike. Follow along as they explore the remnants of their golden age and rebuild their civilization from dust. They’re the paradox, the precursors come back to haunt the present.

A Fate Shaped by Magick
This fiction was (and is) published on fanfiction dot net under the same title; though as I slowly transfer it to here, I am editing and smoothing it. This story takes place in the Elder Scrolls (TES) Universe mostly ending up in Morrowind. This is a slice of life meant to answer the questions of how (in the TES universe) do mages study and learn, and exploring some of the in-game differences between TES 2 and 3. This book has minimal spoilers for the Morrowind main quest and does not fully explore it. If you think that giant insects would make cool pets - if you like the idea of exploring magic NOT intended simply as killing something better, faster or more gore-ridden, then come on in and enjoy.

Waiting for Death
Me.... you are asking about me? What a pain...! Eh-hem! Excuse me for that... anyway, this is a story as the title suggest(I think). You want me to be specific?! You are a picky mother-fucker aren't you.... excuse my true-self slipped out. Okay, this is the story of my pessimistic life as I try to accept death's embrace, but a goddess(nosy, two faced, and succubus bitch) interferes and forces me on the path of reincarnation. Why do I not commit the taboo "suicide". She brought to my attention a new conception of life, so I might as well try it as I wait for deaths beckoning. Please give a review and also comment for I can a get general feeling of the direction of this story. Thanks!
