"Cause i don't want to" I said to my new mate Daniel
"You don't wanna date? Mate why not your gorgeous and young and what not right?" He said smiling he shook my head and laughed
"I just, I'm happy like this and guys only fuck me up" i chuckled grabbing my glass of red wine "how's working goin' then?" He asked sipping on his glass of beer
"Class, couldn't be better really"
He nodded "I wish my life was as good" he chuckled if only he knew.
-
"Thanks for walking me home" I slurred looking at Daniel "don't worry 'bout it darlin" he said hugging me "goodnight" i said with tired eyes"goodnight Lexi" he said
I watched him walk down the street as i lighted another cigarette
-
"You still here?" A voice said
I turned around and saw van
"Van?" I asked
I blinked a couple times with my eyes
I came into a realization when i felt a hand on my shoulder "right i knew i could not let you here alone when your on those drugs" a familiar voice said "van, are we going home?" I asked the burry face
"We are now" he voice said i just nodded my head but soon cried my eyes out
"I missed you so much, van" I sobbed intertwining my hand with his while we were walking home
He didn't say anything
"I knew we weren't going to last but my heart just wasn't ready to realize that" i whispered
"It's alright Lexi I'm going to bring you home now explain me everything in the morning in kinds worried"
-
When we arrived home he tugged me in bed and watched me
"You gonna leave aren't you?" I asked
He shook his head "I'll stay if you want me to"
I nodded and nodded again
I looked up at him with teary eyes
"I love you van, always"
I soon fall asleep after that.
-
I woke up feeling my head spin
"God" I whispered slowly opening my eyes
I grabbed a t-shirt on the end of my bed and swallowed as i looked into the morning
I started to look worse every single day.

I walked into the living room seeing Daniel in the kitchen
"W-wait" I whispered remembering last night
I shook my head "n-no it's not- van- he" I stuttered "listen love, have a seat" he whispered i knitted my eyebrows together sitting down looking at the table with tears in my eyes "you were drugged last night Lexi, you thought i was...van?" He asked confused
I swallowed and closed my eyes crying
He sighed and rubbed my back
"I thought it was him you know, i really did and when i saw you in the kitchen i felt my heart die cause van wasn't there" I sobbed
"Can you explain me who he is later on?" He asked i nodded slowly
He handed me a cup of tea and sat down opposite me "i just really- I'm sorry" I whispered "no need to apologize" he whispered shooting me a weak smile
I sat behind my desk and daydreamed the whole day
"Somethings wrong?" Lilly asked i looked up at her and shook my head "no I'm just a bit tired that's all" I lied with a small smile on my chapped lips she nodded looking at some paper work
I looked at the clock seeing i had five minutes of work left "I'm going home" I said standing up "make sure you sleep enough tonight" she said in a stern voice "yeah, yeah" I said grabbing my laptop
Ones i got home i completely lost it.
I cried my eyes out thinking about last night and what i saw.
I realised how much i missed van
"Are you home? Hello?" I heard a voice say
It was way too familiar
I walked towards the door and quickly wiped away my tears fixing my hair
I opened the door and saw a face i missed to bits "come in" I whispered with a weak smile
"You have to explain why your eyes are all red and puffy" becky said sitting down on one of the couches "I'm just tired that's all" I lied closing the door "your a terrible liar as always" she sighed lighting a cigarette
"Something happened, last night" I whispered

She looked at me taking a drag of her cigarette
"I went to a bar here in town and got smashed, and i got drugged after that, when i left my friend walked me home and when i stood there after thirty minutes he came back and said that he knew he couldn't let me be alone when i was on drugs but i didn't know it was him i thought he- i thought he was someone else" I whispered with a tear escaping my eye
She knitted her eyebrows together and looked at me "who what it?" She asked
"I thought it was van- it looked so real" I whispered looking at her with a couple tears falling down my cheek
She swallowed "oh shit" she sighed
"When i woke up my friend was in my house and explained the story to me, i was so upset and sad an confused becky i really needed you" I whispered crossing my eyes
She walked towards me and looked into my eyes "I'm here now, Lexi I'm here" she whispered hugging me
I closed my eyes with tears rolling down my cheek "I miss him so much, becky" I cried
"Yous find your way together again"
"It's been four years" i whispered shaking my head
- van's pov
"Nah mate i rather not" bondy joked
"Can't we stay another night?" I asked Dan
"We have two days so yous can do what you want and go where yous want for the next 48 hours" he said grabbing a pen
"sweet." I said standing up
"Where are you going then?" Bob asked
"Probably going to me and dad for a day and then just go home" I said with a nod opening my bottle of water "I'm going back to Newcastle" bondy said lighting a fag
"Your going home as well?" Bob asked benji
"Nah I'm going to Boston to meet up with Dani" he said smiling
Dani was benji's girlfriend he met her a little over a year ago.
"You seeing Abby ones your home?" Bob asked
"Don't know mate don't know" I sighed grabbing my bags
Abby, my ex girlfriend we were back together since a year ago but i didn't love her like i used to, my mind kept wondering back to Lexi.
I need to know how she was doing.
"Right van lets go" Bob said as we stepped out of the tour bus "bye lads!" We said
'Goodbye' and 'take care's' were said around
Me and Bob hopped out of the bus
"Mate?" I said "yeah lad?"
"I'm not going home."
- Lexi's pov
"10 minutes" I whispered to myself as i stood at a train station
A couple trains were running past me.
Until one stopped "is this one going to Leeds?" I asked the man shook his head
I sighed standing still
the train drove past me.
The on the rail opposite me there was a train not moving.
I heard a sharp sounds as the train drove away
I looked at the person who stood on the opposite platform.
I swallowed seeing him with a big bag over his shoulder
I started walking, running so did he
In the middle of the two platforms I stood in front of him
I was out of breath with a tears in my eyes
His hand rested on my cheek
I closed my eyes feeling his hand on my skin
After a few seconds of that i opened my eyes and looked at him "4 years" I whispered
He didn't answer but pulled my into him instead "I love you, i love you, I love you" I whispered hugging him tightly feeling his arms around my waist
"I came here to meet you, of course i didn't know you would be here but i wanted to get a taxi to your apartment" he whispered
I pulled away to look at him
"I just couldn't take it anymore Lexi, we're made for each other we both know that" he whispered i nodded closing my eyes
"I missed you so-"
I couldn't finish my sentence cause his lips were on mine
He chuckled softly into the kiss
I kissed back "let's come home"

Tempest Rogue
This story follows Auron, a man who has been plagued with vivid nightmares his entire life. While running away from a beating, a splitting headache causes him to fall to his knees. Once again his nightmares bleed into reality. The next "episode" he has brings him from the scene of his nightmare, to a posionous swamp. To make matters worse his memories from earth are fading, and these nightmares that plagued his childhood, filled with darkness and a red coocoon, are back and worse than ever. As he clings to the only memories he has left, he is forced to fight through a world of brutal blood thirsty monsters, dungeons, and a complex magic system governed by an ancient agreement. First time writing any sort of story. Everything is still a work in progress. As I improve on my writing I will go back and edit parts. Early chapters are subject to change as I grow my ability. I am going to try my best to write this world and improve as I go. My goal is to make my dream come to life through the medium of text. This is why I wanted to post it here. Feel free to comment, and bring constructive criticism. Hope you enjoy! More info (Spoiler warning): only read if you are picky, read a lot, and want to waste no time with a story you may not want read. This book is a litrpg. This means it contains stat tables, and other game elements. (Which you may gloss over if you would like) It is written in a fantasy world, in the style of a progression fantasy. The main character grows in power as the story plays out. My characters are written to my best ability, but you may find them immature. The MC has to adjust to fighting, and killing which he struggles with for a while. His partner is a magical salamander who is a friend and mentor. The world building, monsters, and descriptions are also low tier. (I am working hard to change that!) If you are okay reading something by someone who is just getting started then welcome! I am doing my best, and incrementally improving as I go.

Kalar's Continent
Magic is a fickle thing, hard to grasp and even harder to truly master. Mana flows through everything in the world, every rock, plant, and human. They all breath, grow and influence their surroundings in their own right.Join Teo, a bright young boy with a gift for Arcane Magic, through his journey to tackle the Elements, master his Craft and climb to the very peak of magic itself.Who will he meet, friends or foes? Trusted companions or bitter rivals? Will he be able to find his answer and get to the real meaning of magic, all while wrestling with the complex laws of nature and his own unripe emotions? There is only one way to find out.The story will start with a few chapters of introductions in volume 1 to establish the characteristics and the nature of the world the characters live in. After that, it will probably become a lot more fast-paced and incorporate real story progression. My goal is to fuse the common magic advancement system in a weak-to-strong fashion, together with elements of naturalism, magic combat action and little bits and pieces of science, wherever necessary, to form a bright and interesting story about a boy chasing his dreams about magic.
