"Wake up."
You jolted awake. Arthur stood at the base of your bed laughing at your scared appearance.
"Arthur what the hell!" You yelled.
"You should see your face right now." He said, still laughing. You rolled your eyes at him. "What do you want?"
"Dutch wants us to meet Trelawny in Saint Denis, something for that boat thing." Arthur said.
It had been a few days since the party. You hadn't left camp to do anything recently, but Dutch told you about this job he wanted you to go on for a "womanly touch", whatever the hell that meant.
"Give me a few minutes and I'll meet you at the horses." You said rolling over in your bed. Arthur chuckled before walking off. You groaned before putting your boots and gun belt on. You walked into camp and looked around to see what everyone was doing. You noticed Dutch sitting on the porch of the house, and Micah talking to him about something. Micah had been telling him about a bunch of jobs he heard about and had just been spending more time with him. Not that you would ever tell Dutch, but you didn't trust Micah, at all.
You put it in the back of your head and met Arthur by the horses. You both mounted up and headed out. On the ride to Saint Denis, you asked Arthur about Micah, as you didn't know to much about him. Apparently you aren't the only one who doesn't trust the man.
You arrived at the spot Dutch told you to meet Trelawny. You spotted him reading a newspaper. "Ah, there you are."
"Here we are." Arthur responded.
"We are going to need you both to get smartened up a bit." He said while looking at both yours and Arthur attire.
"What?" You asked.
"You can't play at the tables on the Lannahechee River looking like this." Trelawny said. He turned and started walking into the tailor. You and Arthur shared a worried glance before following him in.
"Ah, welcome back miss. How can I help you?" The clerk asked recognizing you.
"My friends here need a nice suit and dress." Trelawny answered. The man handed you and Arthur the catalog. "I'll pick yours, you pick mine." You said to Arthur.

"Fine, but don't make me look like an idiot." He said sternly.
You flipped through the pages and picked out a suit with black pants, a grey coat, and a blue vest. He picked out a navy dress for you. You both went back and put on the outfits. Trelawny looked at you both as you walked out from the back. "Y/n dear, you look lovely. Arthur, I think we should stop by the barber."
You followed Trelawny out of the tailor and across town to the barber. On the way there, the plan was explained to you. Strauss was going to help Arthur win at the poker tables, while you flirted with the drunk men to see if you could find anything.
"Our dear boy Javier will dress as a guard, he will go in the safe and help you Arthur."
Your mouth went dry at Trelawny's statement. You haven't talked to Javier since the kiss. He hadn't even spared you a glance, except in camp when you were wearing the dress. You just prayed it wouldn't make anything awkward.
When your arrived at the barber, you and Trelawny sat on a bench while Arthur got his hair cut. He got it trimmed and slicked back. He also trimmed down his beard so he didn't look so rugged. You walked out of the barber to see a carriage waiting to take you to the docks. You all piled in and were off. On the way Trelawny explained that Strauss would help Arthur win, so he didn't have to worry butch. Once you arrived, you made your way to the boat where Javier and Strauss were waiting.
"Gentlemen, how wonderful to see you." Trelawny greeted the pair. They turned around and your eyes locked with Javiers for a moment, before his shot to the ground. The group made their way onto the boat.
Javier made his way to find a guard to knock out and steal his outfit, while Arthur went to the poker table.
"Just go stand at the bar my dear, it won't be hard to find drunk men to rob." Trelawny said before walking off. You made your way to the bar and had a seat. Just as Trelawny said, you had plenty of opportunities. You noticed Javier walk in, brand new attire, and stand at the door close to the bar. At least you knew if something went wrong he'd be right there.

"Well hello miss, what is a beautiful lady like you doing here alone?" A obviously drunk man said approaching you.
"My husbands playing the tables." You said looking to Arthur. "Thought I might enjoy myself too."
"Well your husband is very lucky." The man said, moving closer. As he talked, you laughed and put your arm on his shoulder. You slowly started to move your hand down to his pocket. You acted tipsy yourself, just so it didn't look to obvious. You fingers slipped into his pocket to reveal what felt like a pocket watch. As you started to slide your hand in to grab it, his hand quickly grabbed your wrist. You looked up at him shocked.
"I'm so sorry sir." You said. He didn't let go of your wrist. "Miss, if you wanted to get my jacket off, all you had to do was ask."
"My husband will be done soon, I should go." You said trying to get up, but he pulled you back.
"Your husband won't miss you for a few minutes." He said standing up and pulling your arm. You didn't want to make a scene and ruin everything, so you reluctantly followed. As he began to take you to a room behind the bar, you turned to look at Javier. He looked at you and nodded, letting you know he would come get you.
Once in the room, the man threw you down on a small bed. "You really thought you would get away with robbing me?" He said starting to take off his jacket. You watched in horror, but no noise left your mouth. As he began getting closer to you, you heard the door open. Before the man could do anything, he was on the floor, Javier knocking him out. He helped you stand up and you fixed your dress. "Thank you." You said softly.
"We should get back before someone notices him missing." He said walking out of the room. You frowned, but followed him out. Javier went to stand back by the door as Arthur stood up from the poker table. Him and one of the men he was playing with walked towards you.
"Mrs. Callahan." Arthur said greeting you and taking your arm. You then walked to Javier.
"Perhaps you could take us to the office?" The man asked Javier.
"Yes of course sir. Follow me." He said opening the door. You listened as the man rudely talked to Arthur about Javier. Arthur played along, but you could tell by his voice he was getting annoyed.
You arrived at the office, where another guard was waiting. The man walked to the safe and started putting the numbers in. As he opened it, Javier knocked the other guard out and pointed his gun at the man.
"Don't reach for that gun." Arthur said to him, before grabbing his gun. He went to get the money out of the safe, but the man had another gun and pointed it at Arthur. Before anything could be said, Arthur shot him in the head.
"Shit, let's hope no one heard that." You said.
Arthur collected everything in the safe before Javier lead you back down to the bar where Trelawny and Strauss were waiting. When you arrived, a man started accusing Arthur of cheating. Suddenly the man that took you to the back room popped out. "There he is, shoot that man." He said looking at Javier. A wave of gunfire took over the ship. Javier threw you the gun he had and took on from a dead guard. You all began shooting the guards before running outside.
"We have to jump." Javier said. You all jumped over the railing and into the water.
The five of you all swam to shore, making sure to not catch any attention from the law.
"Well, never a dull moment." Trelawny said, shaking off some of the water. Arthur handed out the earnings, in total about a thousand dollars was stolen.
"Let's head back to camp, before anything else happens." Arthur said, with everyone heading in different directions. You though back to what Trelawny had just said and chuckled.
"Never a dull moment."
