Teddy PoV
It was raining outside, so it was typical british weather, I was sitting on the couch, because I wasn't feeling well, my throat was getting tighter and I was watching Ro watch the rain from the living room window in awe, 'cause that's what you do when you're bored.
"Daddy"
"Yes Baby girl"
"Why does it rain?"
"It rains so that the plants can grow Sweetheart"
"When will it stop raining?"
"I don't know Darling, you don't really know when the rain will stop until it decides to stop by itself Sweetheart"
"Can we go out in the rain today Daddy?"
"No, (clears throat), not today Sweetie"
Ro sat on my lap and places her hands at either side of my face, a worried look etched on her baby face.
"Are you ok Daddy?"
"(voice slowly being lost), Daddy's throat is just a little sore right now Sweetheart"
"It sounds like you're in a lot of pain Daddy"
"I'll be fine Darling"
"You sure Daddy, you sure that you're not trying to be a Macho man?"
"(Chuckles), yeah Baby I'm sure"
Nana walked into the living room, paracetamol in her hand, Nana then gave me the paracetamol, because she didn't trust me to take them by myself apparently.
"Here you go Dear"
"Thanks Nana"
I then picked up my glass of water took the paracetamol.
"You look after your Padré for me Piccolo"
"Ok Nana, I will"
"Good girl"
Nana then walked out of the living room again, and apparently mission 'Don't let Teddy move because he's sick' began on the orders of Nana.
"I don't need to be looked after Princess"
"But Nana said to Daddy"
"And I said I'm fine Baby"
"But what Nana said will help you get better Daddy, anyway I thought that you didn't like lying?"

"You're right Sweetheart, I don't like lying"
"Then why are you lying right now Daddy?"
"I'm not"
"You are too, because saying you are ok when you are sick is lying Daddy"
Ro then crossed her arms like a disapproving parent would, it made me feel so guilty, even though I just didn't want anyone to worry about me too much.
"Baby"
"What?"
"Can I have a cuddle sweetheart?, it'll make me feel better"
"It will?"
"Yeah Bambina it will"
"Ok Daddy"
"I love you Baby"
"I love you too Daddy"
It was some time later and Ro had fallen asleep in my arms, I was bored out of my mind and one of my arms were dead, so I ran my fingers through Ro's hair to try and pass the time.
Nana walked into the living room with 2 cup of tea in her hands, and then she popped one on the table for me, because she was the best, no matter how much I sometimes didn't like people looking after me.
"Thanks Nana"
"You're welcome Dear, how are you feeling now?"
"I'm feeling better, but I'm pretty sure that making me not able to move freely since my arms are dead and preoccupied is cheating Nana"
"No, no it's fair game Theodore-"
"Nana don't-"
"Ah ah ah, I was talking, and I know that you have manners because I taught you them young man"
"Yes Nana"
"Good, so anyway I knew that Ro wouldn't let you go anywhere, because she's a good girl, so even if it meant that your arm became dead, she's got you wrapped around her little finger, even if she doesn't know it yet"
"Ain't that the truth"
Ro then started to wake up, rubbing her eyes to try and look more awake, (it kind of failed but it was adorable to watch).

"Are you feeling better Daddy?"
"I'm feeling a little bit Sweetheart"
"You sound better"
"Does that mean that I can get up now?"
"Well I dunno, I'm not the boss here Daddy, Nana's the boss lady, what do you think Nana?"
"No, not yet"
"Nana, I'm fine, I promise"
"Don't be promising things that you can't keep Teddy, anyway it's not up for discussion, you're not getting up from that couch unless it's to go to bed or to go to the loo"
"I'm bored here Nana"
"Watch a movie, read a book, discuss the weather pattern, I don't care what else you do Teddy, just don't move from that couch"
"Fine"
"Good, now drink your tea Teddy, I might be making panettone if you don't move"
Nana went back to what she was doing, Ro and I watched some Looney Tunes on the telly for a little while, but eventually we switched to watching Tom and Jerry.
