《Here comes Teddy》I could get used to this (Sixty-seven)

Teddy PoV
It was quarter to 4 in the morning, I was sitting on the windowsill, drinking my coffee, like I always do when I can't get any sleep, also I was watching the rain come down again the window, then Jack walked into the kitchenette looking a little confused.
"Morning Handsome"
"Morning Babe"
"What are you doing sitting on the bloody windowsill at this time of the morning?"
"I'm watching the rain while drinking my coffee"
"And you wonder why you can't sleep at night Handsome"
"Well I think it is better to not be sleeping because I drank a cup of coffee than it is to not be sleeping because you have a fucking monster of a headache, so that way I feel like I'm in control of the reason for my lack of sleep if I drink coffee"
"You're a bloody nutter"
"Well as long as I'm your bloody nutter"
"(Laughs), you cheeky bastard"
"(Snorts) you seem to enjoy it Babe"
Jack then sat behind me on the windowsill and we both moved ourselves so we were kinda spooning sitting up, which was romantic of me at the time, because I wasn't used to being in a healthy relationship since every relationship before Jack had ended badly.
"I could get used to this you know Babe"
"Get used to what?"
"Having your arms wrapped around me"
"How very romantic of you Handsome"
"Shut up, I can be romantic when I want to be Babe, I just pick and choose when I am"
"What was on your mind this morning?"
"What makes you think that there's something is on my mind?"
"Because you don't ever stop thinking about anything like ever"
"You know me too well, (sighs), I'm just worried is all Babe"
"What are you worried about what exactly Handsome?"

"I'm worried about your sister"
"Why are you worrying about my sister?"
"Well I'm not worried about your sister per say, because she's a self-centred, manipulative fucking bitch and all the bad luck she gets is through well deserved fucking karma, but I'm worried about how she's affecting everyone in this household"
Jack moved my now cold coffee cup from my hands because apparently I was going to drop it, (that was according to Jack), I didn't think that I was going to drop my coffee cup, but hey, what can you do when someone's kissing your neck every so often?.
"Has anyone ever told you that you worry too much Handsome?"
"Yes, yes they have told me that actually, I've been told that a lot, probably more than I care to admit, but if I don't worry about it, who else will worry about it?"
"We can discuss all the things that worry you Theodore, that's what couples in healthy relationships do"
"Babe please don't ever call me Theodore again"
"I'll try not to call you that again but I won't promise you anything, because with you being really bloody stubborn and not listening to anybody else about things leads to you to do some absolutely stupid shit sometimes"
"Fair enough, you got a point there, (sighs), well I've never been in a healthy relationship before, so I'll probably just fuck it up like I do normally"
Jack's arms held me a little tighter, as though to tell me not to say that about myself, which to be fair I probably would've done the same thing if it were the other way around.
"Hey, no, Honey, no, don't say that, you don't give yourself enough credit-"
"I don't need any credit-"
"Shut up and listen for once instead of being stubborn"

"(Snorts), ok, carry on"
"Ok, sure, maybe you haven't had much luck when it comes to relationships, because Megan is a bitch that lied to you about parenting Rowan, which has lead to tears all 'round and Maddie wanted to pressure you into having a kid with her, which would've just lead to making that child hate both of you eventually, and maybe your exterior is a rough one, but underneath all that male pre ado there is a big old softie, kinda like your name, that loves someone enough to slowly bring down those walls that you put up, and if that's not really beautiful Handsome then I don't know what is"
I didn't know what to say to that, because I was actually speechless, like genuinely fucking speechless about it.
"Fuck you, I can't argue with that at all"
"Bloody hell, I have actually made you speechless about something Handsome, that's a new one on me"
"Trust me, it's a new one on me too Babe"
"(Snorts), of course it is Handsome"
"The fuck is that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing, it means nothing"
"I thought so"
"I love you"
"I love you too"
