Rowan PoV

It was a week after the phone call from my Grandfather, and I was no closer to knowing why he would even want to invite me on this bloody holiday in the first place, and it was boggling my mind, especially since the last time I saw him, he was beating Dad up because he's gay (because he was a bloody bigot).

"Ro"

"What is it Clo?"

"What's up?"

"I'm just fucking stressed to the max!"

"What?, from exams?"

"Well it's not going to be from nearly dying, now is it?"

"Oh fuck off Smart arse"

"(Snorts)"

"Come on Ro, you know that you can tell me anything, right?, we've known each other since we were idlle babies"

I kinda looked hesitant, I only know this because I could feel it through my face, but I couldn't stay quiet about the thing with Megan and my Dad's dickhead of a father, so I caved and told Chloe about the situation that was at hand, (which was a fucking hot mess as you can tell).

"Ok Clo, if I tell you about this, you have to keep your bloody gob shut"

"Hey!, the ice incident was a fucking one time thing!"

"Ok ok shut up about it already Clo, anyway you know that my grandad kicked my Uncle Georgie out because he was gay?"

"Yeah?, oh shit, where are you going with this Ro?"

"Yeah well, uh, he phoned up Dad to ask about me going on a holiday with him and Megan at Christmas time"

"Wait!, what the fuck Ro?!, does Soph even know about this?"

"No, of course not!, she would've told half the fucking school by now, and I would've been last weeks gossip, to be honest with you, I wasn't really supposed to know about it either Clo"

Chloe then crossed her arms like a proper pissed Mother would do after finding out that you had taken drugs, or that you gave someone a hand job on the tube home or something else that was completely fucking outrageous.

"Then how the fuck do you know then Ro?"

"Because I could hear everything that was being said while Dad was on the house phone and I was dosing that day last week that Dad said I couldn't go to school, duh"

"Oh, that actually does makes sense Ro, well, do you wanna go with them on this bloody holiday?"

"Fuck no!, me?!, spend an entire bloody holiday with Megan fucking my dickhead of a Grandad's brains out?!, ew!, no fucking thank you!, that's gross!, are you fucking insane?!"

"Ok, I won't make that mistake again"

"(Snorts), don't worry about it Clo, it's not your fault, I'm just sick and tired of birth giver's shit is all"

"(Snorts), your name for Megan still cracks me up Ro"

"Well I'm so glad that I could be of assistance to your amusement there Clo"

"At least you're feeling a bit less stressed out now"

"Yeah"

Chloe then gave me a hug, as she sensed that this made me feel less stressed, Bee then waltzed over to us like she had nowhere else to be.

"Bee is in the house!"

"(Snorts)"

"It's not funny Ro, what are you 2 hugging for anyway?"

"Because that's what friends do Bee, why?, are you feeling left out?, come here"

So I quickly hugged Bee, as she was tall, the trick to catch your tall friend off guard with a hug is to hug 'em quickly, well unless they have specifically told you that they don't like you doing that, then respect your tall friend's personal space bruv.

"Rowan!"

"What?"

"Why did you hug me so fast?!"

"Because I love you"

"Aw, I love you too Ro, you're so cute"

"Bitch I'm not cute, I'm fucking drop dead gorgeous!"

"Bitch I'm screaming!"

"Clo please don't scream"

"Oh fuck off Ro"

"But I don't want to Clo, so nah, I won't fuck off, especially not for you"

"(Snorts)"

Becca then arrived at the school, surprisedly she was the last one at school.

"I'm almost late!"

"Becca you're fine, you had 5 minutes to spare"

"Oh, that helps me a lot Ro"

"(Snorts)"

"It's not funny Rowan"

"Do you want a hug?"

"Wait why?"

I then hugged Becca so that she wasn't left out from my hugs, that might sound weird and shit to you but to me that's just me not being a dick to my friends.

"Has anyone told you that you give good hugs?"

"They have done, I learnt from the best though, so it wasn't too hard for me to learn how to give a good hug"

"Most people would just say thank you or something"

"Becca Sweetheart, I need to tell you that I'm not most people"

"That's good to know"
