Katsuki sat in his room... he knew he shouldn't have visited... They were fighting again. All they ever do is fight. It was fucking annoying. Don't get him wrong... he loved his parents... he really did! But why couldn't they love each other? Why couldn't they hug and cuddle like they used to? Why couldn't they.. be happy?
He let the tears fall from his eyes... he could just leave if he wanted but he couldn't.. he didn't want leave
his father and mother in this state.. he wondered how it was when he was gone? We're happier?! Did they still fight? Was this his fault? More escaped his eyes...
But they soon went silent.. completely silent.
Were they done fighting? Did they make up? Do they love each other again? Katsuki was very hopeful.. he wiped the tears off his face and peeked his head out his door... he expected to see his parents hugging and forgiving each other.. but he was wrong... so wrong.
"I think.. we need a divorce Mitsuki." Masaru mumbled.
Mitsuki rolled her eyes, "I know we do."
"Why..?" Katsuki asked softly, tears falling from his eyes.
His parents' heads turned quickly looking at the heartbroken boy.
"Oh Katsuki.." Masaru mumbled as he looked at his crying son.
"Is it my fault? Did I do something? I will stop visiting if I have to? I'll leave! J-just don't... I'm sorry. I'll fix whatever I did. Just please l... don't wanna." Katsuki cried, hugging himself tightly.
Masaru sighed, "Oh Katsuki...baby I'm sorry.. it's not your fault though don't ever think that."
"Don't lie to the fuckin brat.. before he came we were good to eachother." Mitsuki yelled with an attitude.

"Shut up! No we weren't and you know it! And I told you to stop treating Katsuki that way!" Masaru yelled back.
"Oh fuck you and your kid." Mitsuki said with venom.
Masaru rolled his eyes, "Our kid, you idiot."
Mitsuki teeth flared, "Don't call me an idiot you dumb whore!"
"Oh I'm the whore?" Masaru asked sarcastically.
"Yes! We could have got rid of the baby but no~ you wanted him! Why did we get rid of the other one hm? Maybe that one would have been stronger than this pathetic piece of shit."
"Mitsuki! You wanted him as well! What happened to you?!" Masaru yelled.
"I didn't want a failure!"
Katsuki let more sobs leave his thin lips...
Mitsuki growled, "Shut the fuck up you crybaby!"
"Mitsuki! I swear if you don't shut your mouth!"
Mitsuki smirked, "What ya gonna do? Hit me?"
"Ugh.. you know I won't. I don't hit women, and you know that.
"Oh shut up.. you and your cry baby son are annoying. I'm going to get a drink." Mitsuki complained as she walked off.
"That woman.." Masaru mumbled as he ran over to his crying son.
Masaru hugged his crying son close, "It's not your fault... I'm sorry."
"Why didn't you get rid of me.. I-I should be dead.. maybe you and Mama could be happy.. I'm sorry papa." Katsuki whispered to his father.
"No.. no! You have no reason to be sorry.. you are perfect just the way you are.. your mother is wrong... she is so wrong. Don't listen to her buddy... and you didn't ruin anything... if anything you kept this together.. you are the glue to this family... I wouldn't know what to do without you bud... you're so special to me, okay buddy? Don't listen to your Mama.. okay?" Masaru told Katsuki.

"Papa.. it hurts.. Why does it hurt so much? I wish Mama loved me... but I understand why she doesn't. I don't wanna love myself either." Katsuki asked softly and he nuzzled into his father's shoulder.
Masaru sighed sadly, "Katsuki look at me... and look at me good.. you are truly the most amazing person in the world and I hope you know that your mother isn't in the right state of mind... she never was... you need to understand how important and wonderful you are... I love you son... I love you so much.. and I don't want this fight to ruin your happy thoughts."
"Papa?"
"Hm?"
"I love you."
"I love you too Katsuki... I love you too. And don't worry I'll figure this out..."
Katsuki smiled sadly as he let sleep take him as he cuddled into his father.
He still felt like a screw up.. but in his father's arms.. he felt safe.

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
