Katsuki and Izuku were complicated. Katsuki hated Izuku, right? It must be.. he yells all the time about how much hatred he has for the green haired boy.. and Izuku still enjoys Katsuki's company, right? Izuku still sticks with him.

Despite what is seen Katsuki does not hate Izuku.. quite frankly he adores Izuku. Katsuki always spent time with Izuku. As much as possible.

On the other hand... Izuku hated every bone in Katsuki's body. It's simple.. get Katsuki's trust.. befriended him.. make his miserable life so much better.. then crush it. That was Izuku's plan. That's all he wanted to do.. he wanted to mend Katsuki's broken heart.. just so he could be the one to tear it to shreds.

Katsuki was training by himself.. enjoying the sounds of harsh wind as he practiced. Izuku was coming soon so he just wasted time by warming up.

Katsuki didn't expect anyone besides Izuku to show up.. so he was very confused when All Might walked towards him.

Izuku watched as All Might walked towards Katsuki.. Izuku was excited for what was about to go down. Izuku had gotten Katsuki in trouble. A trick he played on All Might to get Katsuki's idol to tell him that all his effort was for nothing.. that Katsuki will always be a villain no matter what training he did.

Izuku watched All Might as he took his slow time to walk to Katsuki.. but as All Might got closer Izuku saw the bright shine in Katsuki's eyes.. nothing but pure joy from seeing All Might.

Fucking All Might.

There were so many people better than All Might.

So many.

Not to be egotistical but even he was better than All Might.

Suddenly Izuku remembered a memory from when he was young.. it was when Masaru was on his deathbed.. a day of despair for both of them. Masaru was kind, always there for the both of them. Truly the superior parent.

Izuku remembered what Masaru said to him.. to keep Katsuki safe..

"Izuku.. I know Katsuki may be slightly harsh.. but he means well.. he does adore you. He cries to me about how sorry he is after he does something. You seem to level him out. In truth, you'll always be his favorite compared to I. So as we speak this last time.. please keep the shine in his eyes."

Not long after that, Masaru passed. Katsuki was alone.. with his mother who left at an early age, and his father who passed moments before.. he had nobody.

Izuku remembers this vividly.. Izuku never understood why Masaru wanted him of all people to watch over Katsuki. Izuku wasn't strong during that time, Katsuki was. Katsuki could handle himself.

Yet seeing Katsuki bright he shining eyes made him feel guilty.. confusing as it was.. he knew that this one conversation would ruin cause his crimson eyes to no longer shine. He would fail Masaru. And that wouldn't be good for either of them.

"Young Bakugou." All Might mumbled to Katsuki.

"Yeah?" Katsuki said as he held back his excitement.

"We need to speak. Now." All Might said roughly.

The tone in All Might's voice drained some of the shine from Katsuki's eyes. Concerned he was.

Before All Might could say anything else Izuku came into view which brought back the shine in Katsuki's eyes.

"All Might." Izuku said blankly. Something Katsuki hasn't seen before.

"Young Midoriya?" All Might said with a confused expression.

"What you were told. It's false information. You were lied to. Quite frankly I was astonished that the great All Might was tricked by someone lower than him." Izuku said with his sweet smile. He and All Might haven't gotten along lately. Today was no exception.

All Might blushed in extreme embarrassment, being caught off guard didn't help his ego. "Hmm.. Well then I don't need to be here anymore. Do I?" All Might mumbled with a soft groan.

"No. No you do not. Goodbye. Kachaan and I will be training now. You are distracting us so please be on your way." Izuku said and he began to stretch.

All Might mumbled something underneath his breath before walking off.

"What the fuck was that about?" Katsuki asked with a confused glance as he looked at Izuku.

"The old man is going senile,"Izuku mumbled softly and he pulled off his shirt changing into a different one. "Doesn't matter now, are you ready?" Izuku finished as he got into his fighting stance.

Katsuki only nodded with an excited smirk on his face, "Always!"
