Katsuki's friends were very much important to him. And he hoped he was important to them.
Every school morning Katsuki woke up and made breakfast. Engorging for everyone but always making his friends their plates, allowing them to sleep in a little longer than the rest of his classmates.
Katsuki helped them with their studies and made sure they never overworked themselves.
Whenever they got in trouble, Katsuki talked them out of it, and if he couldn't he took the blame.
If someone needed a little help with cash, Katsuki gave them more than enough without making them feel bad.
They were super hungry? Have a little more, there is enough to go around.
They wanted that thing but was on a budget? Don't worry, his parents 'accidentally' gave him too much.
They liked the candy Katsuki had? Don't worry he didn't want them anyway.
They were scared of sleeping alone? His bed was big enough for some more people.
They were cold? Don't worry, Katsuki was a personal heater. Borrow a sweater or two. He didn't mind.
They needed a break? Well how about a walk in the park? Last one to make it there has to pay for ice cream. Don't worry, he isn't gonna make them pay.
They needed something? Katsuki was right there with whatever was needed.
Katsuki would be right there and that would never change. Not five years, ten, twenty or even a hundred. Till death do them part. Which will never happen. Even in the grave, he'll still make sure they are happy, and doing their greatest.
It didn't matter if people saw him as violent, or rambunctious. It didn't matter because Katsuki didn't have to worry or care for anyone else besides his friends.

And even if his friends thought he was rambunctious that would be okay. They were entitled to their own opinion, he wouldn't change a thing. He'd still made sure they were okay.
Nobody could change that.
Even when they were married and their spouses hated how close Katsuki was to them... Katsuki wanted to make sure his friends were okay.
But he couldn't always do that... especially if his friends got tired of him saying the same thing over and over again. The same sweater, the same park, the same ice cream and the same accidents. They were tired of it. And that broke Katsuki's heart. Because if he couldn't do that... then what could he do? He had nobody else. No lover, no family, nobody. Just them.
Even if the days turned to weeks, and weeks turned to months... he still wanted to be there for them.
They were low on food? Katsuki secretly sent some.
They needed help with money? Don't worry, he'd accidentally drop a couple hundred in the mailbox or near the front door.
They were unsure if something? Katsuki secretly gave them a little push to help them
They were in trouble? Don't worry, Katsuki handled it on the side, they'll never need to worry about it.
Low on the favorite sweets? Don't worry, he'd anonymously send a gift box full of them.
Scared? Worried? Katsuki would somehow make it all go away.
Heater broke? Too cold? Don't worry. Katsuki will figure it out.
Didn't matter if they hated him. He'd still make sure they were happy and healthy.
And when they finally got back on their feet? He was happy for them. They no longer needed him.
When months turned to a year Katsuki decided he didn't need to be there anymore. He each made little gift boxes, accustomed to their families and likings.. goodbye notes from a long lost friend...
He set them there when each family was gone.. hoping they'd all be found at similar times.. because it was nice to stay close to his old customs... he didn't want to change.. if even it seemed boring.
Katsuki wished them a fair well, and a praise for their good work. They always enjoyed it when someone noticed their hard work.

Meek
After failing as an apprentice cooper and a town guard, Eli finds his place at the Rockbridge archives. Sure, he's the oldest 'junior scribe,' but he likes the job. And he's good at it, too. Then he completes an apparently-insignificant project, and the brutal reaction shocks him--with consequences that eventually shake the world. Eli gains powers. Rare and inhuman abilities. He progresses slowly, steadily, and not without setbacks. He changes, too. Is he a hero, a villain, a human, a monster? Depends who you ask. Meek is an epic fantasy with elements of progression. The basic magic is simple: five Paths, each with a different powerset. However, complexity arises from combinations, and the protagonist wields a magic all his own. Meek is set in the Valley, the only (as far as anyone knows) human empire that survived a Final Battle against a terrible foe. The Valley is warded against infiltration, but the enemy learned how to warp human souls, to foment discord within. However, another soul is also ... changed. Perhaps even 'warped.' And that soul is starting on a long (long, long) path that might, one day, prove that the Final Battle wasn't so final after all.
