It's been 4 days since the whole school found out about Jason Blossom and understandably Cheryl has been nowhere to be seen.

Jug and Archie were sat in the quad outside eating lunch.

"Dude have you asked Georgie to the dance yet?" Jug questioned the ginger

"No! With everything going on there was just never a right time."

"Well now is your chance here they come" Jug pushes his towards Georgie. She smiles and kisses him and turns to sit at the table until Archie pulls her back.

"Archie what's wrong?" She sees the fear in his eyes.

"I-I want to ask you to the dance! I thought it was a given we'd be going together but-we'll I'm sorry" Georgie smiles and Archie shows a confused face.

"Archie, baby I don't need a big gesture I just wanted to be asked. Even if you didn't we would still end up going together!" Georgie smiled until she saw someone walk up to them.

"Hey Archie are we still on for tonight?" Valerie smiled to Archie completely ignoring Georgie.

"Oh I totally forgot! George we will have to do it another night I have to do something!"

"Excuse me?"

"Yeah we had this planned for a while and I totally forgot!" He kissed her head and walked off with Valerie. Georgie sat down with Jug.

"What just happened?" She asked him confused

"I have no idea!"

"Anyway Juggy how's your dad I haven't seen him since I've been back?" Georgie asked eating her pasta.

"Ah the famous FP! He's around somewhere I guess"

"So when are you gonna come and stay at mine instead of sleeping at the drive in?" Jug sighed not knowing she knew that's where he was sleeping.

"Juggy your my best friend you can't hide anything from me! And I will not see my best friend sleeping rough!"

"I'm fine Georgie honest I like it it's quiet!" She sighed. They talked about the dance in 2 days time but Georgie couldn't help but think what Archie was doing with Valerie.

It was the day of the dance and all girls were getting ready at Georgies. Betty wore a blue knee length dress and Veronica wore a black floor length dress.

"Come on Georgie! The boys will be here soon!" Ronnie shouted fixing her makeup

Georgie walked out in a cream v neck strapped dress with colourful flowers on the top half.

"Holy shit girl you look hot!" Ronnie comments as Georgie comments on the girls dresses and hair until her phone beeps.

"Archie said he's meeting us there?" Georgies heart sank

The 3 girls met Jug and chuck at the door

"Now Allison you can have 3 friends over and that's it! If there's alcohol I will literally embarrass you so hard at school!"

As everyone got out of the car Georgie sighed and suddenly Jug put his arm out for her to link.

"Let me take my 2 favourite girls into the dance. You're my best friend George and you won't walk on there alone."

All eyes turned to the doors as they walked in.

"I'm gonna go get a drink!" Georgie split from the others.

"Where's Archie isn't he always by your side?" Reggie walks up to Georgie

"Hello Reggie actually I have no idea where he is!" Then out of the corner of his eye she sees Archie and Valerie together. As she was about to walk over to them in walked Cheryl with her minions by her side.

She walked up to Georgie and asked if she could talk in private.

"Look I know we've never seen eye to eye but you're the only one in this god damn school that understands especially now Jason has gone. So I call a truce"

Georgie heart breaks a little bit for Cheryl after what she's been though trying to find her brothers killer.

"Of course Cheryl" before Georgie could say anything else the principal stood up on the stage.

"I would like to welcome to the stage our very own Archie and Valerie!"

Georgie walked away from Cheryl and wounds up stood in the middle of the dancing pairs alone looking up to the stage where her date is singing with someone else. Archie was an amazing singer but Georgie knew nothing of his plans to sing on stage.

"Would you like to dance?" Georgie turned around to see Reggie stood there with a goofy smile on his face and his hands out.

"Why not my date seems to be busy" she laughed and took the boys hands.

The pair spin around to the music and Georgie watched Betty and Jug dancing much to Jugs protests.

The music finished and the two went to the table to get drinks. Archie and Valerie walked up to the pair at the table.

"Well well Well if it isn't Archie Andrews! I do believe I stole your date!" Reggie smirked.

"Georgie can I talk to you please?" Georgie walked to the door with Archie following.

"What is it Archie?"

"Why did you dance with him?" He put his hands in his pockets

"Well I did have a date and then I didn't see him all night as he was with another girl and didn't even acknowledge me so excuse me for wanting a dance!" Georgie rubbed her arms as Archie pulled of his jacket and placed it on her shoulders

"Don't try and be cute I'm mad at you Archie? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted it to be a surprise but I handled it badly and just ended up ruining it and ignoring you! You look beautiful by the way!" Archie moved a little closer

"She's pretty, Valerie!"

"Georg-"

"It's ok Archie we haven't made anything official you can see her if you want t-"

Archie slowly walked up to her

"Will you shut up" He smashed his lips to hers. She smiled into the kiss.

"Archie Andrews you have 2 minutes to take me inside and dance with me otherwise I will find Reggie and will dance the night away together!"

He pulled her arm inside towards the dance floor.
