《Winter Wonderland》Red Rose Tyrant: part 19

"Are these stupid rules seriously more important than we are?" Ace asked as Cater lifted an eyebrow.
"Oh please, that's just his duty as housewarden" Y/n yawned, clearly a bit tired.
"Yep. Riddle took on the role less than a week after enrolling. His words than to be a little harsh but, he's just thinking about improving our dorm" Trey explained, "His intentions aren't bad" Cater finished.
"People with good intentions don't go around beheadin' other people!" Grim shouted.
"Hahaha..." Trey, Cater, and y/n laughed nervously. "What happened at the ceremony is your fault, though" Yuuna says, looking down at Grim.
"What?! My underling's being cheeky!"
"By the way, Riddle always looks forward to eating the first slice of the whole tart. So it's gotta be whole or he probably won't pardon you." Cater says.
"Seriously?!" Ace asked, and then let out an annoyed sigh. "Guess I have to buy him one..."
"Tch...Like I've got cash for that!" Ace corrected himself.
"How 'bout making one, then?" Cater suggested. "Trey's the guy who baked all those strawberry tarts."
"huh?!"
"Trey made them?" Deuce and Yuuna made them
"Nice! I thought they were like, store-bought" Ace says.
Trey laughed and thanked him for the compliment. Ace then stood behind Trey, massaging his shoulders. "Come on, Trey. Won't you lend me your cookware? I'd be sooo happy if you'd teach me how to make them! or whatever" Ace says, acting like a good boy.
Trey and Y/n only sweatdropped a bit.
"That's definitely cheaper. I think it's a good idea" Yuuna says.
"I volunteer for taste-tester!"
Trey noticed Yuuna's pleading look and put down his cheek. Making him have no choice but to agree or Yuuna would be sad. "Well...I was planning on doing a little baking"
"Then.." Ace seemed to have a shiny aura around him.
Then Trey bends down a little on his hand, resting on it.
"But...I'm not teaching you this for free" Trey smirked.
"You're gonna make me pay?!" Ace shouted, sweatdropping a bit. Yuuna had a sheepish expression on her face, as everyone thought she was cute.
"haha I would not rip off my underclassmen." Trey laughed.
"I was going to make this Mont Blanc tart Riddle wanted. Think you could go gather me some chestnuts?" Trey asked.
"That sounds just as annoying!" Ace exclaimed.
"SO. How many chestnuts do you need?" asked Yuuna.
"hmm Let's see. To make enough for the Merry unbirthday party we'll need...about 200 to 300 of them."
"For real?!" Deuce and Ace explained.
"So many..." Yuuna mumbled.
"Then I need you to roast them and remove the outer shell to take out the nut" Trey continued.
"Can I go home now?" Grim shouted, having a deadpanned stare. "Me too," Deuce says, raising his hand a bit.
"Traitors!"
"Calm down Ace. Yuuna and I will help me. But soon after, I need to head somewhere"
"Ughhh fine!!" Grim said.
[Timeskip to the woods behind the campus, the Bontanical gardens]
"Don't chestnuts like, fall on the ground?" asked Ace, walking around to look for chestnuts.
"Let's split up and look. You three can head further into the gardens." Deuce suggested.
" alright" Y/n nodded, leading Yuuna as Grim was in her arms.
"Wow...there're so many plants here.." Yuuna awed in amazement.

"Hey! Take a look at this! There are all sorts of fruits growin' here! And they smell great!" Great drooled at the sight. "One bite wouldn't hurt..." Grim says, reaching his paws to the fruit.
"Don't pull an Ace" Yuuna huffed a bit. "We same here to search for chestnuts, Grim"
"Hmph! Stingy Yuuna!"
"Fufufu" Y/n chuckled while walking next to Yuuna.
"Maybe there;s a chestnuts tree just around this corner..." Yuuna mumbled, unaware of her surroundings, stepped on a certain lion's tail. "Ouch!"
Yuuna flinched and turn to Grim, "You say something?" she asked. "It wasn't me" Grim answered. "You Y/n-" Yuuna cut herself off at Y/n who gave her a 'really?' look.
"Hey. You've got a lot of nerve to trespass and step on a guy's tail" a voice said from behind, causing Yuuna and Y/n to turn around.
"I was having a pretty damn good nap" the voice got closer, as the lion stepped in front of them. "Right up until you ruined it."
"This sucks." the lion grumbled, resting an arm on a tree, glaring at the females.
"This guy is a punk..." Y/n and Grim mumbled with a deadpanned stare.
"S-sorry for stepping on your tail...I-I didn't mean it" Yuuna stuttered an apology.
"Should've moved your tail, kitty"
"Oh? You're the herbivore who's up to par with that dragon" he turned to Y/n. "And you must be the little lioness who's even stronger" the lion started to walk closer to Y/n and started to sniff her.
'eh...?' Y/n as puzzled but her face was quite red. "wow. I barely know you, but your scent spelled familiar, as if I know you from somewhere" the lion says, smirking while he wrapped his arms around Y/n's waist.
"eh?" Y/n was a bit confused. "Can you let go of me kitty?"
The lion groaned in annoyance and moved away, "Don't ever call me that" the lion growled as Y/n growled back at him.
"tch. You're not gonna just walk off after stepping on my tail, are you?" he asked Yuuna.
"Y-yuuna...he's makin' my fur stand on end..." stuttered Grim.
"This guy-"
"I-I'll apologize again. I'm sorry" Yuuna bowed in apology.
"Hah. You've got guts to try baiting me, especially the one who just growled" his smirked, getting into a fighting stance. "Being woken up from a comfortable nap got me all pissed." he suddenly about to send a kick toward the females. "Start gritting your teeth."
"e-eek!" Yuuna shielded herself and Grim from the hit.
"Arrogant mortal!" completely ignoring the warm sensation again, she pushed his leg down, grabbed his arm, turned around to the side, and threw the large lion over her shoulder, causing the lion to be stunned a bit.
"Leona!" a voice called out, making the two freeze a bit, quickly moving away from each other, as the one called Leona dusted himself off, and turned his head towards a Hyena boy.
"I knew you'd be here. It's time for your remedial lessons." It was Ruggie. "If you end up havin' to repeat again. We'll seriously be classmates next year!"
"All you ever do is yap, Ruggie" Leona scratched the back of his head in annoyance. "It's not like I enjoy all the nagging!"
"Come on. Let's go!" Ruggie says.
"tch..you better watch your back the next time you find yourself in my territory herbivores," Leona said, turning to Yuuna who nodded furiously and Y/n fuming in anger.

Leona turned away, walking with Ruggie who waved goodbye towards the girls, as Yuuna waved back.
"That was nerve-wracking!! that guy's just like a lion" Grim let out a shaky breath.
"Tch. How dare that mortal-" Y/n was about to go after him but Yuuna grabbed her hand, "It's alright, Y/n." "But-"
"Hey! We found a spot where there's chestnuts!" Ace shouted towards them holding up some tools with Deuce behind him.
"Oh yeah! The chestnuts!"
"Let's go help out"
"I need a go. See you guys later" Y/n teleported off to the mirror chamber, leaving a trace of butterflies.
"huh? Where did Y/n go?" asked Deuce.
"I think she needs to head somewhere" Y/n answered
[Y/n POV]
I soon as a teleported in front of the hall of mirrors, she entered the building. I looked around to find the Diasomnia mirror. There were a few students lingering around, whispering about me, but I paid no mind.
I walked in front of the mirror, and walked through it, seeing the beautiful dark castle belonging to Diasomina. I looked around to see a maze of thorns behind me and looked forward. "Haha, this dorm is just as elegant as Amaryllis.
I walked over the cliff and pushed open the door, "Oh honey, I'm home~" I sang.
A few dorm members flinched in surprise. "Hey, isn't that Housewarden's fiance?"
"Yea it is...what is she doing here?"
"Fufufu, you sure know how to make an entrance, Beastie" Lillia walked up towards her, chuckling. "Haha, I thought it was a funny thing to do" I answered. "It sure was. Now, follow me, I'll lead you to the common room that Malleus, Sebek, Sliver, and I share. They are waiting for you" Lillia mentioned, leading me towards the common room.
I took the chance to admire the scenery. After all, being inside the REAL Diasomina dorm was much more beautiful than the pictures from the game. Soon after we arrived. "Sorry to keep you waiting. Would you like to have music in the background for the study session?" I asked.
"Of course, dear," Malleus answered, smiling at me. The common room was a bit smaller than the one in front of the entrance, but it had a soothing effect to it.
I would use my magic to magic a piano made of pure ice appear next to Sebek, as it began to play itself under my command. It was playing 'Come little children
I sat down in a chair next to Malleus and crossed my leg over the other. "Now, let's begin the tutoring"
"Miss Y/n?"
"Yes, Sebek?"
"May I ask what the Flower of Eternity? Professor Crewel mentioned during class"
"oh? The Flower of Eternity is a national herb residing in the land of Permafrost. Even though it's quite common for us to receive some, it's extremely rare elsewhere. I believe this school received some seeds from my mother as a blessing. It has the same properties as the 'Golden tears' from a phoenix" I explained to Sebek after 30 minutes of helping him with his work, along with Sliver and a little bit of Malleus. Malleus only joined because he wanted to be included, which Lillia and I thought was cute.
"Hmm. Now that I think about it, we're going to work with ingredients related to the Levia-fae" Commented Sliver, as I tilted my head in confusion. "Really?"
Malleus nodded. "Indeed, Beastie. For the 2nd years, they are going to be making potions that have rare ingredients, such as Levia scales and crystal tears. I'm afraid 2nd years are going to ask for your crystal tears and scales" Lillia says, making a worried expression.
"wait wha-"
Malleus then patted my head and made a grumbling noise with his stomach, as a sign to be calm. It's a thing for dragons. "Don't worry, my queen. You don't have to give them your scales and tears if your uncomfortable" he says.
I shake my head a bit, "No, Mal-Mal, I'm alright. If it helps with their studies. But" I smirked a bit. "It's not like I'm going to give them for free~"
And with that, Silver and Sebek shivered from my tone of voice, as Lillia burst out laughing, agreeing with me. Malleus just coughed a little, keeping himself from laughing.
And with that, I continued to help my fiance, Sliver, and Sebek with their studies. To be completely honest, I never thought I would be these smart to be able to answer 3rd-year questions...
[Time skip to night time with Heartslabyul]
Trey and Cater working walking back to their dorm, having a small conversation, "I'm disappointed to not be able to join, why make me stay, Trey?" Cater whined.
"The Housewarden of Amaryllis wouldn't want more uninvited guess in her dorm. After all, we wouldn't want to put more on her plate" Trey says bluntly.
"Tch, party pooper" Cater make a -3- expression when they went through the doors, only to see that it was much more lively than usual...and not in a good way...
"Wow, it's pretty noisy here. Is that coming from the lounge?" Cater asked.
Trey and Cater went upstairs to the lounge and opened the door. Want was behind it made them shocked. Most of the students in the lounge had collars around their necks....they were beheaded.
"S-senpai! You're finally back!" a 1st year exclaimed, turning towards Trey and Cater. "These collars on you guys..." Trey mumbled.
"Housewarden caught us drinking lemonade with honey..." the 1st year admitted.
"Decrees of the queen of hearts, article 256:" Trey says. "So you broke that, huh?" Cater asked.
"But we didn't know!!" the 1st year had tears in his eyes.
"Can't even eat or drink what we want..."
"That damn housewarden...there's gotta be a limit to all this rule crap!"
"I...I'm sick of living like this..." the 1st year clenched his fist, trying his best not to shed some tears. "Bound my rules I don't understand...I wanna transfer dorms, like Amaryllis! I-I even heard that there were hot springs inside and outside of the dorm for members to relax..."
Trey was silent for a bit, he was feeling remorseful. "...It'll be all right. I'll talk to the housewarden personally." Trey patted the 1st years shoulder, and look towards the other 1st years in the lounge, "Back to your rooms, guys" he ordered.
Cater let out a sigh, having his hand on the side of his neck, "Well...I'll go and make our queen some tea to help his mood." Cater turned to the door.
Trey turned towards Cater, "Sorry, Cater. Oh yeah. Brew some herbal tea instead of black. Pretty sure that article 153 mentions the type of tea you have to drink at night..." he reminded.
"...Roger that. Okay!"
