《Winter Wonderland》A Beautiful Tyrant: part 33

"Eh? Y/n didn't tell you?" Crowley's voice was heard. "In my infinite generosity, I shall field that question!" he grinned.
"Myah! Headmaster!" Grim yelped. "Again with the poppin' outa thin air? You're scarin' the daylights outta me!"
Y/n stared at the ceiling, looking really bored.
"Oh, I beg your pardon. I did not especially mean to conceal my presence, for what it's worth," Crowley said before clearing his throat. "Ahem. Anyway. Allow me to explain why you were summoned here with the ensemble members. Starting this weekend, we will have four weeks before the Song & Dance Championship kicks off. And I would be ever so appreciative if you two could share Amaryllis palace dorm as the site for their training camp!" he informed.
"TRAINING CAMP?!" Everyone exclaimed while Y/n and Yuuna widen their eyes in surprise.
"We do have a lot of space and empty rooms, but..." Yuuna started off, mumbling to herself.
"You want them to stay at Amaryllis Dorm?!" Y/n yelped. 'This is the first time I'm hearing about this! Why the heck did the Headmaster expect me to know?'
"Headmaster, why would we need to stay together at a training camp when it's already on campus?" Jamil asked, feeling a bit guilty for intrutting on his soulmate's dorm. "We all have our own dorms,"
"It's a team-building exercise. You come from different dorms, different class years, different birthplaces, different cultures..." Crowlet trailed off a little. "It is my hope that living together will help you foster a greater sense of camaraderie," he explained.
"Oh, I get it," Y/n nods in agreement. "Frist-rate music groups eat at the same table and sleep under the same roof to build rapport," she continued.
"I considered Pomefiore as an option, but I feared that would make some members feel more out of their element than others," Crowley admits. "At Amaryllis Dorm, everyone would be starting from the same baseline. Especially since it's cool inside and hot springs, perfect for refreshing one's body after a hard day of exorcising."
"Hot springs...?!"
"Th-this is still really sudden..." Deuce mumbled.
"Yeaaah, I'm suddenly getting a powerful urge to dorm out," Ace admitted, not wanting to deal with Amaryllis's own set of strict rules.

"I think a mixed dorm training camp sounds like a blast!" Kalim cheered. "My only question is, would it be okay for both me and Jamil to be absent from Scarabia for a whole month?" he questioned.
"Worry not, my boy. I will be exercising my authority as headmaster to support you all in whatever capacity you need," Crowley informed them. "Oh, what a kind soul I am! It is in Night Raven College's best interest to take other schools down a peg and win the title of 'the World's greatest' for ourselves,"
"Hold your horses, Crowley," Grim interrupts. "If we ain't in the ensemble, why should we contribute to this at all? I don't want anything to do with it!"
"Really, Grim?" Y/n asked. "Are you certain of that?"
"You know, if you find it in your heart to share your dorm for the training camp, there might be something nice in it for you..." Crowley said, trying to convince Grim while Yuuna just deadpanned.
"Myah?" Grim perked an ear up. "Wh-what kinda 'nice' are we talkin' here?"
"Should our team win first place, Rook and I will donate our shares of the prize to you and Yuuna so you don't have to live off on Y/n," Vil announced, making everyone surprised.
"Why would you do that?" Yuuna asked, feeling touched. She felt excited to use her own money instead of Y/n's generosity, after all, she felt bad.
"It is a pittance to me- hardly worth the time it would take to enter it into my ledger," Vil admits. Y/n just smiled about not being a human wallet anymore if NRC wins, even though she knew the future.
"It's only fitting to provide proper compensation to those contributing to Vil's cause," Rook said happily.
'If only Morax had this much money. Then he wouldn't be so poor' Focalors dumbfounded.
"So if you split fifty thousand thaumarks seven ways, then get two shares of that, uhh.." Grim mumbled, doing some mental math.
"It's about 14,200 thaumarks," Y/n and Jamil answered in unison.
"Mrooow!" Grim yelped. "That...That would buy me way more than four thousand cans of tuna!" he exclaimed happily.
"See? You would very well earn a fabulous prize merely by sharing rooms you're not using anyway and providing support," Crowley said before sighing. "But you really want no part of it? What a shame. And here I was thinking of footing the bill for some luxuries garment ingredients that would last about 3 months," He then let out an even bigger sigh. "What a shame, truly. But I suppose I'll have to respect your decision and move on..."

"Rrrgh...This is my shot at a tuna bonanza..." Grim mumbled. "Hey, Yuuna...what's your take on this?"
"Okay, we'll share the dorm," Yuuna said as Y/n nodded in agreement.
"Really, now? So you'll contribute after all!" Crowley smiled. "Then I suppose I had best get arrangements for the training camp in order. Gook luck honing your performance to a razor edge, entrants!" he says before leaving the Ballroom.
"The training camp became a done deal before we would get a word in edgewise..." Deuce mumbled.
"No kidding. But I guess a change of pace won't hurt us," Ace admitted. "For one thing, staying at a training camp means no off-with-our heads if we breach any of the Queen of Hearts' decrees. We can take it easier than usual," he grinned.
"First Scarabia has a training camp with Octavinelle, and now we're doing on with Heartslabyul and Pomefiore? This is going to be rip-roaring time!" Kalim cheered, smiling ear-to-ear.
"If that's your call as housewarden, so be it," Jamil hummed. "I'm not going to oppose you and make myself look bad in the process," he smirked.
"Then our meeting is adjourned, Vil-senpai," Y/n said, smiling kindly at him, causing him to smile back before clapping his hands.
"It's time to get the rehearsal started!" Vil announced.
"Wait, I thought we weren't rehearsing until training camp starts," Ace said, in a questioning manner.
"Think again, Spudling One," Vil said, narrowing his eyes at Ace. "You're all rank amateurs at singing and dancing, no way near Y/n's level. We don't have a moment to waste,"
"Wonderful!" Rook cheered. "Let's play a song to kick off the NRC Tribe's shared journey,"
"...." Epel stayed quiet while frowning.
Vil turned to Y/n, "Y/n, start the music: Piece of My World!"
Everyone began dancing in their places when Y/n started the music.
First day of training camp
"Bonjour Reine du givre, Reine de la lumiere, and Grim," Rook greeted when Yuuna opened the door. "What a lovely palace this is! We shall be availing ourselves of your hospitality for the next four weeks. Thank you for having us,"
"What it takes to get that tuna," Grim stated, reassuring himself.
"My. It's certainly beautiful as the rumors saw," Vil said as he walked into the dorm with a amused smile on his face.
"Thank you, Vil-Senpai," Y/n curtsied.
Epel walked in after Vil and did a little bow, "Hello..."
"Wow, the ceilings are so high in here!" Kalim looked around. "It looks perfect for riding my magic carpet!"
Jamil sighed in irritation. "Maybe don't fly indoors, especially in a ice palace." he said before turning to Y/n. "My Jasmine, would you mind letting me share Kalim's room or take a room adjacent to his? This dorm is less secure that Scarabia, since you don't have to pass through a mirror to get here,"
Y/n smiled and place a hand over her chest. "That may be so, but no intruder would dare break into my palace," she smirked, having a dark expression on her face.
Jail sweatdropped a little, but he trusted her words. After all, she was an Empress of a powerful country. No one would dare try to break in and enter the palace.
"You're so paranoid, Jamil. We haven't had a single assassination attempt on campus since I enrolled," Kalim smiled brightly in a reassuring way.
"Hey, guys!" Ace called out, walking inside of the dorm.
"Thanks for having us, Y/n and Yuuna," Deuce thanked while holding onto some boxes. "Here, these are from Trey," he said, giving Yuuna the box.
"Ooh, what's in the boxes?" Yuuna asked, holding onto the box.
"I spell a sweet treat!" Grim exclaimed.
Ace grinned. "It's homemade chocolate cake and some apple pie, courtesy of Trey," he said. "He said if we were imposing on another dorm's hospitality, especially if that dorm is Amaryllis, we should at least brings gifts. What is he, our mom? We can split it with everybody later,"
"Myah ha!" Grim cheered. "You can always count of Mr. Shrewd Specs to do the thoughtful thing
