The birds happily chirped as the sun peaked through the curtains, the sun slowly blinded my eyes causing me to wake up, this beautiful scene was ruined by the loud banging on my door.

My body sat up from my laying position and groaned, "who ever it is, shut up i'm sleeping" I yell out making Daniella open my door.

I started to rub my eye and felt that it was all red and swollen, my face along with my eyes were red due to spending the whole night crying.

"y/n it's 7:45, do you wanna walk with us to school?" she asked me by the door, "no, i'm not going to school today" I replied falling back in bed closing my eyes shut.

I waited for my sister to leave and heard the door shut loudly, Last night I spent the whole night telling Sunghoon everything, he comforted me making me feel so much better, but, all the crying resulted in my puffy face.

I had absolutely no motivation to go to school and see Jake today, I had a feeling that if I went to school and saw Jake, i'd cry right in front of everyone humiliating myself.

My parents aren't home right now they're on a business trip which meant they wouldn't find out i wasn't at school. I will skip today, but not tomorrow.

I slowly fell asleep and enjoyed the rest of the day in bed sleep my day away.

Patiently I waited at the front door waiting for y/n go come to school because she didn't walk to school with me today.

Slowly I saw a group of people walk to school and the group of people were Jay, Karina and this kid from our other class, slowly i approached them "hey, have you seen y/n?"

they all frowned and shook their heads, "you're the one who's dating her, you should know and not us" Jay chuckled and walked past me.

I scoffed and decided to follow them to class, I knew y/n wasn't going to show up to class just because I knew my words seriously hurt her.

Arriving in our classroom, I saw Sunghoon and Minju sitting at the back of the class, i walked over to them and grabbed a chair bringing it beside them, "hey guys, do you know where is?, she didn't actually walk to school with me"

"she's sick, you should know that" Sunghoon said scrolling through his phone.

I laid in bed focused on the tv show that was playing on the laptop screen, the faint sound of the doorbell caught my attention and made me yell out to the go my siblings to get the door.

But the remembering my siblings were not home, i sigh loudly and get out of my bed and wakes over to my mirror, i grabbed my white hairbrush and quickly brushed my electrocuted look-alike hair.

"jesus, i'm so tired"

The boor bell rang another 3 times making me run downstairs as fast as possible, "coming!!"

I opened the door widely with a huge smile on my face only for it to fade away in a second, the one and only Shim Jake was at the door, the one person i avoided was looking right at me.

"what do you want, if it's nothing important go away" I said with an angry and annoyed tone making Jake seem sad, "i was just gonna ask if you were"

Before Jake could say anything else, the loud banging of the door echoed around the large house, i know i was being rude but just the sight of Jake was so painful and it made me feel want to ball my eyes out.

I rushed over to the window and looked out watching as Jake walking out of the driveway while passing Sunghoon, they exchanged smiles and a handshake and Jake left.

A few seconds after staring at Jake i heard the door bell ring. I casually opened it and saw Sunghoon, "hi there, how can I help you, if you can't see with your very pretty eyes i'm very busy sleeping" I told him letting him inside.

"well i wanted to ask you if you wanted hangout with my other friends, they know Jay and Jake, but that doesn't matter, let's hangout with them, there's someone I really want you to meet"

I nodded my head "sure, give me a minute, i'm going to get myself ready"

I jogged upstairs and left Sunghoon downstairs. Opening my quite large closet, I searched my closet and tried to find something cute to where. I found a cute outfit to wear and quickly put it on.

I rushed over to my vanity table and quickly put some makeup to cover up the fact that i've been crying and sleeping all day and night.

"i'm ready, let's go"

We arrived at an aesthetic and cute cafe decorated nicely with fairy lights, cute photos and cute coloured walls. Sunghoon and I walked into cute cafe and approached a group of people.

There were two seats left, one in between two of these guys and one beside another guy, I watched Sunghoon's finger point to the seat beside the guy and he sat in between the two others.

"hey, so this is y/n, y/n, this is Heesung, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki" Sunghoon said introducing the guys to me.

I said my hello to everyone, "hi y/n, i'm Jungwon, it's nice to meet you" I heard someone say from beside me, It was Jungwon.

"hi, Jungwon, right?, well it's nice to meet you too" I said to him and gave him a warm smile.

Jungwon and I specifically talked to eachother for most of the night until the night had to end.

We talked about lots of different things, our hobbies, what we liked, music, tv shows, possibly everything.

"you're really pretty y/n, i hope we could hangout again another" Jungwon said to me and giggle a little.

"yeah, we should definitely hangout next time, you're really cool" I said to Jungwon and I smiled at him.

I've only hung out with this guy once and i felt like we've known each other for years, without even knowing lots of about him, he made me feel so happy and loved.

We all walked out of the little cafe and parted ways. Sunghoon and I walked away from the group of people and walked home together.

"That Jungwon guy is adorable, thanks for bringing me here today" I thanked Sunghoon and sipped on my drink.

"i knew you would like him, that's why i brought you here, he's your type" Sunghoon smiled and nodded at the same time, "hope this helps you get over jake"

I nodded my head and gave him a side hug. The cold, windy night suddenly made me feel happy. The noise of the dried, dead leaves that danced across the ground, the wind that hit my face just made me so happy.
