《Secret Trio: A New Start (Old and discontinued)》Chapter 9

Danny sat up and looked at the carpet. The nice white carpet. Vlad noticed the bruise that was on Danny's face where Dash hit him. Vlad was angry, "I see that the boy is back."
"Don't do anything to him," Danny said, "please. I already taught him his lesson."
Vlad noticed that Danny was off. He wasn't telling him something. Vlad scooted closer to Danny and put an arm around him. He asked, "what are you not telling me?"
Danny's face turned beat red. "I... Uh..." Danny tried to find the right words to express himself, and at the same time, trying to be careful of the words he'll say. Vlad can act very... Unexpected at times.
"I couldn't sleep..." Danny started, "then I went to this, abandoned playground. I also met Dash there, as Phantom of course." He waited for Vlad's reaction, but nothing. Vlad stayed calm, and so Danny continued, "we talked and he fell asleep. I brought him back to his room and left."
Vlad waited for Daniel to continue. When he didn't he knew Daniel was not saying something important. Vlad said, "what are you not telling me?"
Danny's face turned many shades of red and covered his face with his eyes for Vlad not to see. Danny mumbled something that Vlad could not hear. "Danny," Vlad said sternly, "you know I can't hear you." Daniel tried again. "I think Dash liked me..." He said in the most quietest, but still audible voice he could do.
He peaked at Vlad. He had wide eyes, but not wide enough of shock, nor disgust, nor anything. "Are you saying you may be bi?" he asked. "I-I don't k-know..." Danny stuttered. Vlad sighed and gave him a reassuring smile, "it's okay, Daniel. Whatever your decision is, I'll try to accept it."

Clue word: try
Danny smiled, happy that his 'father figure' is accepting him with open arms. Although Danny doesn't know what he typically prefers right now, he'll know that Vlad will still support him. He's like the perfect father he wished for, except the whole being strict and formal.
Vlad told him to get ready for dinner and exited his room. He went straight to his room and took a deep breath. A female figure appeared in the shadows behind him. He doesn't need to look around who's there. He already knows it was her.
"I can't believe your right," Vlad said calmly, trying not to scream. The female figure smirked as her purple eyes glinted in the light. "He's going to use the instrument room more often. I suggest you buy more instruments in case something breaks."
"I'm telling you!" Howard complained as they walk towards Danny's stop, "if we have a secret team, why not a popular group that can be known nation-wide?!"
"Because!" Randy replied, "it might spark some, sort of..."
"Ha! You can't even make an excuse! Just admit it, Randy! You're just scared!"
"Scared of what? A big stage with so many people to judge your every move?! Of course not!"
Howard raised a brow and said, "I didn't specify," as he shot a winning look. Randy looked away and said, "that's still a bad idea."
"Guys, guys," Jake intervened, "why don't we let Danny hear it first?"
"Speaking of Danny..." Jake pointed where Danny was waiting. Danny saw them and waved.
They discussed it with Danny. Howard suggested that they would make loads of cash if they became a popular group. Like a band or something. Jake, of course, agreed. And Danny too. That left Randy. 3 out of 4 is enough. They were going to practice later after school.

Howard was writing names and titles on a piece of paper. Randy looked at it and laughed at some and liked the rest. Jake leaned over and was confused as to why Howard was writing these.
There were:
Three Musketeers
The Three Gems
Three Heroes
Save The Day
And the list goes on. "Howard, what are you doing?" Danny asked.
Howard smirked at him like he just won a prize, "names for our group." Howard handed it forward to Danny so he could examine it. Danny raised a brow at the titles Howard came up with.
Danny just laid it down in front of him and sighed. He put his hands together like some sort of business man who was reviewing how the stocks are in the company. Howard seemed uncomfortable in Danny's gaze. Seriously, he's like being interviewed by the big boss in the big company. Guess where that came from.
"W-what's wrong?" Howard stuttered. "I'll give it to you straight..." Danny said as he lowered his hands, making a low hump on the table. Howard nervously looked around the room.
"It sucks."
"Aw come on!" Howard exclaimed, "I have been working on this the whole morning!"
"Well, it sucks. What is it with you and titles with three in it? We're four people!" Danny exclaimed. "That's because-" Howard was caught off when a familiar shoe stepped in front of their table.
"Hey Fenturd!" Dash called, catching everyone's attention once again. They immediately got their phones to record the upcoming fight. From the past few days Dash was here, they automatically knew that Dash only wants a fight or bully a little kid. And it seemed that Danny Fenton is actually one of Dash's favorite old victims.
Danny groaned out load, smacking his head on the table. "Hey!" Jake said, "didn't you had enough Yesterday?!"
"Shut up, kid! You don't know what I'm talking about!" Dash replied. Jake was about to attack him when, Danny held him back. Jake muttered something under his breath as Danny stood up faced Dash again.
Danny then gave him a knowing smirk. He crossed his arms and commented, "I didn't know you would be as stupid as to be beaten again."
The audience laughed at his remark. Dash swung a fist at Danny. Danny just dodged it. Dash tried to hit a land again, but Danny dodged once again.
"Fight me, wimp!" Dash demanded. Danny chuckled as Dash threw another fist, "I am fighting you. You're just too scared to give the first hit. Oh wait, no. You just gone weak."
The cafeteria erupted in "ohs" as Danny burned Dash. Dash's face flushed as he swung another first towards Danny. Danny swiftly grabbed his arm and pulled Dash's large figure towards him. Dash's face flushed even more when Danny's face was a breath away. But he did not expect for Danny to knee his forehead.
When Dash was down, the cafeteria erupted in cheers. "Danny! Danny! Danny!"
The doors swung open and the vice principal came in.

Maybe, just maybe, he could make this life a bit more interesting. ----------------------------------------**Author's Note**---------------------------------------- Hello Everyone, I am Vi, Cat Vi. This is my first attempt at writing a story. I am a complete beginner at this. The closest thing to an organized story I’ve ever written is essay reports back in high school. There might be syntax errors and weird language all over the place. So, apologies in advance. I’ll be trying my best to make this story as interesting as possible, and with your feedback I am sure I can make something nice out of it. Constructive criticism is appreciated. And you are welcome to comment any errors you might notice. I’ll try to fix them up as soon as I can. For now, I don’t have a schedule. But if the story gets traction, I will try to work something out. **Cover Image Drawn by me.
