《It's All For You》26 | shower

Parker's POV
-
"You're drunk," I repeated, stumbling over my words. His words meant too much to me. He certainly didn't feel what I felt for him.
"Thanks for the reminder." Once again he pushed me off of him. I sat up quickly, pulling my dress down again.
I watched him stare at the ceiling for a few minutes before I said anything.
"I think you need a shower," I observed. My finger lightly touched the few cuts on his face. "And you need to clean these."
He smiled. "Are you gonna do that all for me?"
I snorted. "You wish."
He tried to pull me back on top of him and successfully did so. Great, he was just going to push me off of him again.
"I do wish," he murmured, dragging his hand down my back and thighs inappropriately.
"You—"
"Oh my god," he groaned. "I know, I'm drunk!" Instead of pushing me off of him, he rolled on top of me. He practically laid on top of me and I couldn't breathe.
I breathed out harshly. That was what I was going to say. "No, I was going to say you look horrible." He didn't.
"You've told me that already." His voice was muffled. He was quiet and I was afraid he'd fallen asleep. Then, "Take a shower with me."
Heat rushed to my face. A shower required being naked. In front of someone? In front of him? The only person who's seen me naked was Gina when we switched bathing suits one time because we liked the others more. Was I considering this?
Yes, I was.
I barely looked at myself in the mirror when I got in the shower.
Jesus, Parker. He was drunk and he wouldn't remember anything.

I could never forget you, honey.
"Parker," he murmured against my
shoulder. "You don't have to be naked."
"Florencio—"
"Don't tell me I'm drunk." He pulled himself up with his arms, caging me. His voice was stern.
"I didn't even say anything!" I argued weakly. "Are you always like this when you're drunk?"
"I'm never drunk." He pouted. I giggled. I never thought I'd see him make that face.
"You are right now!" I nervously reached up and smoothed his forehead so he wasn't scrunching it.
He grabbed my waist and squeezed hard. I laughed, ticklish, and tried to push his hands off my body.
"You just told me again. Is that your favorite thing to say? Is that what you're known for?" He looked genuinely curious. His hands started to wonder up my dress and distracted me from the question.
"N-no. I'm known for taking care of the drunk." Gina loved to party with her sister and I was the designated driver. Not that I minded.
My dress was above my bellybutton. Never wear a dress around Florencio, noted.
He reached down and pulled the waistband of my underwear, letting it snap back against my skin. A sharp inhale from me.
"What are you known for?" I asked him back.
"Everyone says I'm a different person when I'm drunk," he laughed. "Can't see why."
"You just laughed," I pointed out. "You don't do that sober."
"Yes I do," he said defensively.
"You're a real grouch when sober."
He gave me a dirty look. "You and Sam love to just say shit."
The dress was now under my bra. I took a deep breath.
"Are you really going to remember everything tomorrow?" I bit my lip.

"Maybe you're the one who's tipsy, honey," he teased. "You don't remember what I said earlier."
I felt something in my throat. "I guess I don't."
He smiled mischievously. "I dare you to take off your dress."
"Excuse me?" I laughed.
"Chicken," he made fun of me.
I narrowed my eyes at him. "I dare you to tell me about what you did tonight."
His playful expression fell for a second. "It's not as interesting as taking your dress off."
"L-lets play rock, paper, scissors," I suggested. "Who ever wins has to... you know." He sat up, straddling me. I got a full view of his body. This wasn't fair. I couldn't focus on playing when...
"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" Florencio said quickly without notifying me.
I hurriedly made a fist and sighed when I saw Florencio had paper.
I wasn't even really wearing a bra, it was a lousy bralette that offered no support.
I'm insane, I thought, lifting up my arms slowly. My chest moved up and down fast, anticipating him to undress me.
His hands grabbed the ends of the dress and pulled it off my body. I consciously placed my hands on my stomach. This felt different. He wasn't kissing me, covering me. He was staring at me. I suddenly remembered the stretch marks near the bottom of my stomach that disappeared into my underwear. Also the lone one randomly, vertically placed on my abdomen.
"You're beautiful," he said softly. His fingers trailed down from my bra to the waistband of my underwear, making me move my hands. I shivered.
I didn't know how to respond so I asked quietly, "You know what I think?"
He grinned and got off of me. I was oddly disappointed.
"I know what you're thinking." He looked unsteady on his feet. "You think I'm drunk." He dragged his hands down his face. "I've been feeling like there's an earthquake happening for the past hour."
I laughed.
-
Waking up the next morning, Florencio wasn't next to me. I fell asleep to him talking about his favorite dog, a dachshund. I should have stayed up longer, I thought. See how much information I could have gotten out of him drunk and tired.
I waited a moment, seeing if he would come out of the bathroom. When he didn't, I went in there and rummaged around under the sink for a toothbrush. After I brushed my teeth and washed my face with water, Florencio still wasn't in the room.
I looked around his bed until I found my dress. I took my phone out of the pocket and texted my mom back.
Her passive aggressive text, see you're not home. Good luck, set an uneasy feeling in me. God she just...
"Parker?"
I turned around and held my dress to my body, trying to cover myself.
"Hi," I managed to let out. I felt my ears burn. This was embarrassing. I've stood before him like this before, why was I so weird now?
"Are you hungry?" Florencio asked me. He was looking at me. I noticed he had changed into a long sleeve and sweatpants.
I nodded. "Yes." I wanted something else. A hot feeling settled in my stomach and I couldn't get rid of it. "Can I shower first? Please."
He bit his lip. I swear I heard him stifle a laugh. "Do what you need."
I let out a breath of relief when he left the room. I wish he would've come back in though.
