Jimin shifted slightly right over his dick and Taehyung bit the inside of his cheek, suppressing a groan. Jimin hastily stood up, helping Taehyung off the ground and rubbing the back of his neck. "S-Sorry about that." Jimin mumbled, looking down at his shoes.

Taehyung cleared his throat. "Don't worry about i-it." Taehyung smiled feebly. "I-I'll see you tonight, Jiminie." He waved and turned around, speed-walking to his street. Jimin soon made his way home and found his dad's car in the driveway, but not his mom's. His dad was sitting on the couch, watching tv and Jimin went upstairs to put his bag away. Once he came back down, his dad smiled at him.

"Hey kiddo. What did you do at school today?"

Jimin shrugged. "Not much really, just the same stuff...oh, wait! We had a test on calculus."

His dad nodded, patting the couch next to him and Jimin grabbed an apple from the kitchen and sat down to watch basketball with his father. "Where's Eomma?" Jimin munched on the apple.

"She's starting night shift duty at the hospital from today. Two nights a week." His dad replied, focused on the television. His dad looked at his face and noticed the bruise from yesterday. "What happened to your jaw?" Mr. Park touched the mark and Jimin winced.

"I-I dropped a pencil and when I tried to get it from under the table, I bumped that area really hard on the edge." Jimin lied, trying to sound as convincing as possible. Mr. Park looked at him skeptically before nodding and looking back at the screen.

"If that's the case, then it should heal soon." His dad confirmed and they continued watching the match. Around 7:00pm after dinner, Jimin went upstairs to his room to make sure it was tidy. He fixed the bedsheets and picked up the clothes from the ground. Jimin cleared his desk and took out the trash from the small, silver bin in his bathroom. He also showered, ensuring that he used a lot of grapefruit scented body wash which left his skin soft. Jimin stepped out of the shower and dried his hair, putting on deodorant, lip balm and lotion. He stopped in the mirror to stare at himself. Why was he doing this? A tiny part of him wanted to look clean and presentable...for Taehyung. A blush appeared on his cheeks after realising the true reason he was worrying about his appearance. Jimin shook it off and went to sit down on his bed after putting on fresh pajamas, staring at the window. Any minute now.

The sky was black and the moon was a crescent with stars hanging around it. A faint thumping could be heard and his ears perked up.

Oh wait, it was just his heartbeat.

Jimin slumped back down, playing with his phone case. It's already the third night and Jimin wants Taehyung to come. So desperate. Jimin sighed, standing up and deciding to light some candles to make the room smell better. He lit a total of five citrus scented candles and placed them around the room, watching as the flickering fire casted a small glow. Jimin turned off the lights and sat on the edge of the bed, his back facing the window as he kicked his legs. Suddenly, the latch opened and a cool breeze entered the roof. Jimin whipped his head around to see Taehyung in an oversized black hoodie and plaid grey wide-leg pants, climbing into his room. Jimin gulped. "He looks like boyfriend material...Ha-eun is one lucky girl. No—I don't like him like that! Screw you, desperate Jimin." Jimin cursed at himself, tearing his eyes away from Taehyung.

Taehyung locked the window and glanced around the room, observing how it was dimly lit by candles and the bed neatly made, not a wrinkle on the sheets. He smirked. "What a romantic setting, Jiminie." He commented, snickering. Jimin turned red.

"No! It's not supposed to be romantic, I just like candles!" Jimin protested, standing up to go blow one out. Taehyung stopped him by pushing him back on the bed to sit down.

"It's okay, keep them. I like them too." Taehyung smiled. He secretly liked how the room looked because it reminded him of those beautifully decorated hotel rooms for couples. The cliche type, with rose petals on the bed and such. Even though Jimin and him were just friends, they could still enjoy something like this, right? Jimin fiddled with his fingers, biting his lips.

"Have you had dinner?" The shorter asked, looking up. Taehyung nodded.

"Yeah, made myself some ramen." He pat his belly, a grin on his face. Jimin couldn't help laughing, his eye smile coming out and Taehyung's grin faltered as he felt his heart flutter at the sight. He got a notification on his phone and he pulled it out of his pocket to see it was from Ha-eun. Taehyung swiped it open and saw it was a mirror photo of her wearing a bra. His face went red and Jimin furrowed his eyebrows, wondering what Taehyung was staring at. The taller quickly typed up a response.

Taehyung hesitated, staring at the words on the screen.

"Tae? What are you doing?" Jimin asked.

He glanced back at Jimin who was looking up at him with doe eyes. Of course, he wanted to go over to Ha-eun's. She's his girlfriend. "Jimin...I have to go." Taehyung walked over to the window, lifting the latch.

"Wait what?" Jimin asked, confused as to why Taehyung was leaving all of a sudden. He cleaned the room so well and groomed himself to look nice. Was it too much? Did he cross the line? Maybe it was the candles that ruined it. Taehyung looked back, giving a little wave before leaving. Jimin sat on his bed, staring at the window, a feeling of sadness overcoming him.
