I stayed back with Princess as Maa Saheb asked me to. Everyone left after that as we all were tired. Prince and I hadn't slept last night. Both of us needed the rest but Princess needed the attention now more than it.

I sat beside her on the bed. She was looking tensed, frightened and confused. I didn't know what just has happened between them, But I was sure that they share a loving bond. The way Sultan kissed her in front of us was evidence that he was possessive and insanely affected by what she did. But, I needed to know everything before drawing the conclusion. Moreover, I needed to know if she wasn't in any kind of problem now. If this was the case, she needed our help.

"Princess, Are you okay?" She shivered slightly.

"Bhabhi Saheb, Did he attack us?", "I mean, Did the sultan attack us?"

I could see concern and fear in her eyes.

But, I think I needed to calm her down.

"No, Princess... He just came now. He was looking really worried for you. What happened between you? Is everything okay?... Are you two happy with each other?... I mean if you want to talk to me,"

"He just came now? As in today?" She asked next moment.

I nodded.

"Bhabhi Saheb, you remember when you and Bhai saheb were coming from the temple and a few docaits attacked you,"

She said with fear and continued. Meanwhile, I nodded in agreement as I remember everything.

"It was Sultan's plan to attack you and then he saved both of you from them,"

I was stunned to hear it.

"Oh My God! But he saved us, right?"

"Bhabhi Saheb, it was all planned," She informed with a trembling voice.

"He planned then he saved you because he knew that Pita Saheb would surely prize him in exchange for saving him. And then in the courtroom, He proposed for the wedding with me,"

"Yes, then?" I asked.

"You remember the day of Holi, when Bhai Saheb and you were like on the ground, colouring each other, that romance?"

She asked and I blushed.

"Yeah,"

"And I came and saw you, I got angry with Bhai Saheb and ran from there,"

"Yes, I remember," I agreed.

"Then, I went to my chamber and fought with Bhai Saheb. Later, I went to take a round of Palace as I was feeling upset. I didn't know that Sultan was in that particular chamber. I was crossing his chamber and I heard the laughter of. And then I listened that he was discussing his plan with his friend. He said that he planned an attack on those docaits to come to the notice of Pita Saheb. As just as though he got a chance to enter the Palace. He had visited all the places and planned everything. I listened to him saying that he will propose for the wedding with King's daughter, that is me. Then, if the king will deny, he will impose the war. And he was sure that King will never accept the alliance. Whatever he did was to make the war legal,"

"So, you decided to accept the proposal?" I asked.

"Yes, Nothing came to my mind Bhabhi Saheb. I didn't want Bhai saheb to fight any war. You must know about the curse he has. The fortune-teller said he might die in the war in his twenty-five year. His twenty-fifth year started just before the war with Suryadev. That's why I asked him to not fight the battle against him,"

Now everything was making sense to me. I remember the day when Maa Saheb sent me to the temple to pray for him, the day when Suraydev attacked us. It means it was his birthday. That's why he came in disguise to save me but didn't fight the battle. I remember Maa Saheb telling me this year was difficult for him.

"Then?"

I asked.

"That's why I didn't want to take any chance and accepted the proposal,"

I felt shocked.

"That means, it wasn't because you like him. It was more like you sacrificed yourself for your brother,"

"You can say that," She said.

"Princess, I hope he hasn't tortured you," I asked with concern.

"Bhabhi Saheb, he did get angry with me and we had a few fights initially but he has a different personality as a person and as a Sultan. He did scare me a lot of times. Once, he tries to kill me by drowning me in the water pool because I was spying on him,"

"Oh, My God!" I felt goosebumps.

"Then,"

"Then, I got to know that he has another wife, Zeenat Begum and she was pregnant. Now she baby. He is Rehman, he is so cute and lovely,"

"That means, you are his second wife?" I asked.

"Technically, yes but I am the only one. Also, you know I am his first only," She said coming closer with a smile.

I felt her smile and smiled back

"Wow, this is rare,"

"Then, I got to know that he has a stepmother who hates him and he lost his first love. Our situations were kind of similar. We started loving each other. But, it took us time to understand and nourish it. I had always considered him my enemy but he is not like as I thought. He is different, different from any man. Then, something happened and we left his Empire. We had stayed in the cottage and there we fell in love more deeply," 

Her face blushed as she told me.

"This sounds interesting," I smiled. "That means romance in the cottage,"

She blushed even harder.

"Bhabhi Saheb, not just cottage, Waterfall and a lot of love. He loves me insanely so do I. I can't even tell. I can't even describe what I have for him and what he has for him,"

I asked after her.

"And then what happened suddenly between you? I could see how much you love each other. I mean the way he came running behind you is like he was missing you so hard," I asked. I couldn't think that he was still on the mission.

"He do loves me Bhabhi Saheb. I do love him a lot. We fell in love with each other but still, he is Sultan. He is the same person who married me just to win the Empire. He is the same person who still doesn't like my brother. He has never said that he won't attack our Empire. Moreover, he asked his cousin brother to attack Hind," She bit on my lips as she finished.

Her voice was trembling and afraid.

"Princess, I think you should at least talk to him first. Love does changes a lot of things. I am sure he must have changed his mind. Or moreover, he would never attack Hind, You can't see what I can see,"

"What you can see?" She asked.

"Just talk to him first," I suggested.

"He will surely kill me. Didn't you see how angry he was?" She replied.

"He was angry because he care for you," I caressed her hands.

"And I messed up everything," She said.

"Or maybe this can clear everything," I assured.

"Let him rest for a while and then talk to him," She nodded to me.

After talking to her, I realised that they love each other so much. But, if she was right that Sultan still had plans for us. That means we were in danger. But, the way he came running here, the way he was worried about the Princess told everything. If he wanted the war he shouldn't have come here alone knowing the fact his wife was aware of his plans. No man would put his life in danger doing this.

Prince arrived after it and they shared a little talk. He was still angry with Sultan or maybe he didn't like him at all. Princess didn't tell him anything and it was best to hide it until the intentions of Sultan were cleared. Otherwise, there would be an unnecessary mess. Also, Prince wasn't aware of the curse. Neither we chose to tell him ever.

After that, I took Prince with me to take some rest leaving her alone. She needed to rest moreover she needed to talk to him.

We came back to our chamber and he asked suddenly.

"Abhi, do you think, Gulaab is happy with him?" He asked catching my attention.

I lied on the bed and he sat beside me.

"Prince, trust me. He is more than happy she could ever be with anyone. She told me everything, the way Sultan loves her," I stated.

"What she said?" He asked.

"She said they love each other insanely. Sultan really cares for her. That's why he came running after her," I assured.

"But he is so arrogant. Did you notice how he kissed her? It was something unacceptable," He said in an angry voice.

"You should think of his perspective. He wanted to talk to her and you were stopping him too. He loves her that's why he was pissed off. He just wanted to talk to her," I try to make him understand.

"But, still I could have found someone better for my sister," He stated and I chuckled.

"Of course,"

"Abhi, you should also take some rest," He asked helping me to lie on the bed.

"Sure," I said.

My back was hurting a little as it was a hectic day for me. And I had to visit the kitchen at night too. Since we had guests in Palace. I needed to take care of the dinner.

I and Prince, both slept for some time and then we woke up before the evening.

He joined me to visit the Kitchen. We walked towards the kitchen.

"I think, he eats non-veg?" I asked Prince while we enter the Kitchen.

"Bring the gram flour, cauliflower, potato, rice, spinach leaves, quick,"

We both turned shocked as we heard Gulaab voice coming from the royal kitchen. We took a few steps forward and our sight fell on her.

"Gulaab?"

We both were shocked.

"Gulaab, what the hell are you doing here?" Prince asked catching her attention.

She looked shocked looking at us and said.

"Bhai Saheb, I will cook today,"

"But why, there are so many people and you need to take a rest," Prince stated.

"No Bhai Saheb, I need to cook for him," She got busy counting the vegetables.

"Cook for whom?" He looked at me which utter shock and an open mouth.

I smiled and said.

"She is cooking for Sultan, Prince," I stated.

"When the hell she started cooking, She never cooked for me?" His face fell and his jaw fell to the floor almost.

I laughed.

"Your sister is in love," I stated.

He made a sad face and walked to her. He started trying to stop her and I set aside to look at the brother struggling to stop her sister. But, his efforts were seeming useless as she was determined to cook for him.

The time passed and finally, she finished cooking. Honestly, I enjoyed the view of the brother and sister.

It was the time of dinner almost and Maa Saheb told me that Pita Saheb, Prince and Sultan will have dinner together. I asked the attendees to take the food to the dinner place. I looked at the almost tired Princess.

She came with me to the dinner place.

I greeted Pita Saheb and Sultan as we went to the dinner Place. The trio sat in the place and I noticed Princess who was dying to catch a single smile of Sultan, who was completely ignoring her.

We stood in the side when the food was served to them.

"Ahh, Today's food looks different," Pita Saheb noticed.

"Why not Pita Saheb, Gulaab cooked today," Prince said with a heavy heart.

"Really? I never knew my daughter know cooking," His looks were surprising.

"Even, she never cooked for me," Prince said.

Pita Saheb laughed but Sultan looked unaffected.

"Sultan Rafiq," Pita Saheb turned his gaze to him.

"Ji,"

"I hope you are comfortable here?"

"Of course, your highness. I am comfortable here," He stated with a smile.

I could see the face of Princess and him. He was really looking upset with her. She worked hard for him but he wasn't giving any glare to him.

It was difficult for her now.
