Alex had every advantage anyone could ever want. He was growing up to be quite attractive, intelligent, charismatic, and of course, his parents left him with a fortune that made millionaires flush with envy. Everything would have been perfect, except for his genetics. Confined to the hospital for years, Alex never had the chance to truly live. And one night, he died in that hospital at the age of twenty-seven. But that wasn't the end of his story. Alex died, but he was... Definitely not chosen. he was quite frankly, grabbed at random. A Goddess from a different world had been asked to present a land of fantasy with heroes, five heroes as it happens to be. After having a interesting conversation with the surprisingly flighty Goddess, the five were then sent to this new world. However, for Alex, things were different. His story in this world, will be one of making his own second chance. His story will be one of making the best of whatever he can. He saw life pass him by once, and he never will again. Releases on Mondays and Thursdays.

Hundreds upon hundreds of corpses were swallowed to ease the hunger of the black flames. The black flames not only ate his family, but his happiness. Now an orphan, facing his last year of high school before moving to a higher education, Kezner is simply aimless, a wanderer of life, leaving behind a trail of nothing but black flames.

Same Crap, Different World
A young man from early 21st century wakes up in a different world. This world is like a typical setting of an fantasy isekai novel. But it is also not. There is magic, alchemy, magical creatures, different non-human races, peasants and nobles, demons and dragons. But there is also politics, persecution, supremacism of every kind, entitlement, slavery and other unpleasant human tendencies. In short, this new world does not differ much from his old one. However, besides him, there may be others who have made such a strange trip, and awakened into this new world. There certainly have been others, in the past. But more than people and other living things, there have been items. All sorts of items, which are regarded as otherworldly artifacts with unknown danger and power. And he himself is an artifact as well, albeit a living one. Therefore he has use for the powers that be. He is also given a role and expectations to fulfill, to hide his real value. And in all that he still has to make sense of what has happened, what is happening, and find a way back, if possible. Author's note: I write this project mostly in (except chapter 1) in 60-100 page (40,000-70,000 word) chapters, edit them as such and later cut them down for publishing into 7-11 page segments (depending on natural breaks in the flow). Therefore, each chapter may be divided into 10-15 subchapters.
