《Minsung one-shots》Road Not Taken part 1

Shit his head was hurting like hell. He couldn't remember how he got this messed up. He sighned deeply while clapping his hands on his face, trying to sober up.
It's been three and half hours ago when Minho decided to go out with some friends of his. They decided to go clubbing and he might have had some drinks too much.
He already started to regret his decisions while thinking of tomorrows schedule. He could forget the photoshoot if he would wake up with a swollen face and a bad hangover.
But right now he had other worries.
He was stuck in some dark alley with no orientation. It was already dark and his friends already left.
He squinted his eyes to try to figure out the letters of the street sign. He tried to walk nearer to see it up close but his legs failed him. There was no way he could return back home alone.
He rummaged through his pockets, searching for his phone.
As soon as he got hold of the device he tried to open but unfortunately with no success. His thoughts were fuzzy and everything felt strangely funny to him. He pressed some random numbers onto the little display which was currently the only source of light in the gloomy alley.
After a while, Minho somehow managed to call someone. He didn't know who exactly he was calling but that didn't matter right now. Just anyone who could help him was fine.
"Minho hyung?", spoke someone from the other line of the phone.
Minho knew who the voice belonged to. It was his bandmate Jisung. He sounded tired. He probably has been sleeping already.
"Hyung why are you calling in the middle of the night?"
"Ahh Jisungaah I need your help", Minho groaned out. He decided to sit on the floor. It was wet but still better than having the risk of falling down every second.

"Why what's going on hyung?", Jisung asked worried.
"I don't know. I think I am drunk dude...I can't even walk right now", Minho laughed.
"What? Where are you?"
"Ahhhh I don't knoooow! It's so wet here. I am probably at the sea...", Minho sighned.
"What the fuck?"
"Or at Han River or something", Minho laughed. "You know what is funny", he asked.
"No...?"
"The rivers name is Han and you, you are also Han", Minho started laughing out loud.
"Hyung are you serious? That's not even funny. I am seriously worried about you here", Jisung whined.
"Aww Sungie don't be worried. I am doing good"
"Shit Minho pull yourself together! Tell me is there any street sign or something?"
"Okayyy chill.....there is", Minho grumbeled.
"Can you tell me what it says?", Jisung aked with a strict voice.
"Dayum I don't know.....maybe uhh St HeLl AVenTur?", Minho tried to figure out the words.
"You mean St Helens Avenue don't you? Just wait I am on my way hyung", Jisung said quickly before hanging up.
It felt like hours for Minho while waiting for Jisung but he decided to be pacient. Not that he had any other choice anyways.....
After a few minutes a small figure ran towards Minho. Jisung was still in his pyjamas while holding up the flashlight of his phone. He was out of breath when he finally reached Minho.
"Fuck hyung! What are you doing on the floor? Come stand up you will get sick", Jisung said while helping Minho up.
"Hi Sungie", Minho smiled stupidly at the younger.
"Gosh hyung I hate you so much", Jisung embraced his hyung in a hug.
"You smell good Sungie", Minho hummed into his shoulder.
"Can't say the same thing about you", Jisung chuckled. "Cmon let's go home now".

Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero (Update 09/19/21)
(Updated 09/19/21) Hello and welcome. If you made it this far and the book title sounds interesting, I'm hoping you'll read a few chapters. Here's a sample from chapter 1 of "Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero."Slowly starting to wake up, I become aware. It's like coming out of a fog.Head hurts.Body hurts. There's a conversation in the room. This isn't my bed. Someone is touching my arm. I crack my eyes to look. She doesn't notice. Is she praying for me? Her hands do feel good…do feel... Slipping back unconscious, my eyes slowly close. I didn't notice the soft green glow under Jenn’s hands.*******************"It does look like he saved them or at least stalled them long enough for us to get there." says the man dressed more like a park ranger than an officer of the law. "I did think he was part of it at first" he continues "but the evidence shows he wasn't there and they were certainly fighting on that back road where we found them""I don't care who he is." says a woman as she enters the room. "He saved and protected my Jenn. I will make sure there's not a mark or a scar on him before he leaves". As she continues the few steps over to the men speaking, even though dressed simply in common clothes, there is no doubt the race of elves is in her heritage. The grace and lines of her form. The elegance and lightness of her step. She glances at her daughter, still watching over the young man in the bed. "Do we know who he is yet?" she asks no one in particular."Not yet dear" a man in a white coat responds. A handsome middle-aged man. Fit, but not that of a fighter or ranger. "I asked Talon to bring another identification stone with him. I was hoping ours was just broke, but it's reading the same.""What do you think is wrong?" Talon asks."I'm thinking we just have to wait until he recovers. I have heard of cases where the stone didn't work. Powerful spells can hide or wipe a person clean. I doubt he's a spy or a criminal. Spells like that are just too high level if, they're used at all. My best guess is, there is just some disconnect with him being unconscious. When he wakes, we can ask him or use the stone again then."I find myself waking up in a hospital bed. The attending Doctor finds it odd that he cannot identify my class. An Officer says I’m a Hero for saving a girl from being kidnapped, but he’s asking too many questions for my liking. I know an accusing tone when I hear it. I don’t remember any of it and I need to find my way home.Author’s notes. Original work. First draft and update of chapters 1-16. Inspired by various fantasy games and books. Written with a focus on character development and interaction. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. Almost fifty chapters are completed as I pen this introduction. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. The tentative release schedule will be once a week. I'm new to creating. My apologies now while I learn. I have not settled on a book cover or artwork, still looking for something that fits. Registered & Protected #20VjeKDv2U6nynW6

Lost Things
"In this disordered continent, where everyone seeks to be the heroes of their own tales, there are still some rooms for smaller stories to breathe." "Past, present, and future—keep your eyes open, and see where they lead you to." This story follows three housemates’ lives: Carson Calding, Virgil Barion, and John Salore—onto their adventures of finding Carson’s past, Virgil’s present, and John’s future. Despite their clashing backgrounds and circumstances that forced them together, they’re definitely going to find the things they had lost, for sure. Each entire chapter will be updated biweekly. There'll be three smaller parts per each chapter. Note that this story was written to be an interactive one, with polls at the end of each parts deciding on what happens next. Though, the polls for this story won't be available on Royal Road updates. (I also upload this in Arcane Odyssey forum, and it's currently the only place where I open the polls and use the poll results from.)
