《HEIWA ─ Inumaki T.》16 | A warning

"Shit. Maki, wait for me, i gotta get my drumsticks!"
"No! You stay here with Okkotsu!"
When you were about to bolt to the direction of the dormitory, you feel a hand grab your arm, refusing to let you go.
Though the girl has a point and that's basically part of the reason why you're not at Shinjuku, you couldn't just let whoever it was that placed a curtain above the school get away and hide. And maybe, just maybe..
'.. It's Suguru Geto.' you gulp, a bit nervous about what's going to happen next. You're sure that the other person inside the college is him; the curse manipulator himself. You could feel his presence somewhere.
You don't want Maki to know that Geto's cursed energy increased as if the man has prepared for this moment. What was he even going to gain from this?
Does he think it's good to pick on children? Beat them up because he has no other good thing to do?
You look at Maki, eyes meeting. You then forcefully pull your arm away before Making a run for it. You hear her calling for you while you begin to run away.
'Neither of you are dying today. Not when i'm here.'
You feel adrenaline coursing through your veins while you run through the halls. No more making stops at the dorms to grab a weapon-that's a waste of time.
"!"
You shout once you were out of the building, a taiko now floating by your side. You needed to know where this criminal is before attacking.
You then looked around, eventually spotting the man walking towards you with a sinister smile on his lips. You grit your teeth, refraining from hitting your drum just yet.
Geto might have some tricks up his sleeve. After all, you assume that he out of all people, won't come unprepared.
"Ah! Hokori!" he spoke, tone cheerful. Geto already has a few lower grade curses approaching you.
You tap on your taiko, watching Geto's curses drop like flies to the ground and dissolve. He doesn't seem to be bothered when most of his curses are killed off.
'I need to be careful. I can't keep playing forever.' you thought.
As much as you wanted to appear strong and brave, your leg currently isn't doing well. You're glad you chose to wear pajamas instead of anything short since it would've been a dead giveaway that you're currently handicapped. It's going to be hard to move around and you may look stiff, but it's better than a leg that's not functional.

"This is a warning, Geto " you mutter.
The main raises a brow. He scoffs at the attitude you're showing. Now this isn't very welcoming..
"Respect your elders. Does Satoru not teach it anymore?" the man ask, already summoning two new curses. From the cursed energy you're sensing, both are on par with a second grade. Not strong enough to be able to survive your lightning, but it isn't weak either.
"That's not handed to you oldies on a silver platter..!" you exclaim, backing away while tapping on your drum.
"..Respect is only for the people who deserve it!"
Once again, the curses drop to the ground only after a few strikes on your taiko. Geto's impressed-the Hokori's jujutsu and clan members really is a forced to be reckoned with.
Geto smirks. This is getting interesting.
"You're wrong on that! Don't talk big." he says, continuing to summon second grade curses which you don't fail to exorcise.
"They worked hard to get to the top, but take a good look at your family and tell me if they still deserve respect after all that they did to you."
Your eyes slightly widen as your body tenses. What did he do? You couldn't see even a speck of cursed energy on Geto's body. Realization strikes you-it's the single flaw of Raijin.
Every technique has it's own weakness. Similar to the way a sorcerer can make themselves immune to cursed speech, there's a way to avoid being struck with lightning caused by Raijin.
Have no cursed energy present or conceal it. It's hard to do, but possible.
"News spread fast."
Geto says with a smirk when he sees your surprised expression, now rushing towards you. You grit your teeth-he wants close combat instead of jujutsu's! This doesn't look good. Specially with your leg.
You use your arms to form a cross, blocking the kick Geto was about to land on your face.
"Y/N!"
The two of you hear while in the middle of fighting. The man grins, wondering if he can take the both of you down.
"Maki?! Go back!"
You wince, head knocked to the side as Geto successfully punches you.
"You're so low!" you shout, "Picking on kids? Get a fucking life!"
Maki, with her spear in hand that she quickly grabbed before leaving the building, rushes over to you. Your back is facing againts her, making you unable to see what she's doing.

You raise a leg to kick the man while Maki attacks from behind you.
"Ha!" Geto struggled, but he manages to grab you by the ankle and use his other arm to block Maki's spear. Much to his luck, he caught the handle instead of the blade.
"Admit that you're just too weak!"
Using your own limb to push you, the man knocks you down to the ground while he turns to Maki.
You weren't given enough time to stand up and fight back. Your mouth hung agape, fear in your eyes as you watch a hole form underneath the equally shocked girl, a plethora of curses emerging and surrounding her body.
"Maki!"
You shout as Geto pulls what you assume is a weapon from below. He swings it around, and you freeze when you hear Maki's screams of agony.
'Did i hit an organ?' Geto thought, 'impressive, playful cloud.'
You try to quickly get back up on your feet, ignoring the way your injured leg throbbed. Ieiri left for Shinjuku the night before the twenty-fourth-she had only checked your wounds but you refused to let her waste her cursed technique for you. It's a miracle that you're able to fight againts Geto.
Though ieiri had already checked on it for you, it didn't mean that it's not going to hurt when you're harshly pushed down by a grown man.
You back away from him, thinking that it's best if you kept your distance. You then catch a glimpes of the body a few inches away Geto.
Your breath hitches, heart racing.
There Maki's body lies in a small pool of her own blood, missing a leg and her chest barely moving to breath. Was she still taking in oxygen? You couldn't tell if she's still alive-she has no cursed energy that you can feel.
You turn your attention back to Geto.
"What the hell have you done?"
You ask, furious.
The floating drum next to you suddenly changes and morphs into a weapon. You held onto it, feeling the cold handle of a sword.
"I took care of the Zen'ins failure." Geto laughs, waving a hand dismissively, "Now where were we?"
He sees you in a stance and prepared to fight. Geto swings his three-way staff as if warming up for another fight. You grit your teeth, refraining yourself from panicking.
Maki's gone. Maki's probably dead!
You take a sharp inhale. You can at least bring her body back.
The wall beside you then breaks.
"Panda!"
You call, relieved to see him back. You assume that Gojo must've known what's happening and sent him back.
'It broke all the walls for a shorter path!' Geto thought.
Although Panda's sure that he made it in time to be able to provide backup for you, he then gets distracted by a body that looks.. Oddly familiar..
'Maki!'
Then something hits him. literally.
"You're distracted." Geto says, landing a kick across panda's face while also dodging the sword you were swinging at him.
'Why can't i hit him?!' you swore the man knew where and how to dodge. Well, you are againts someone who used to be a friend of the strongest sorcerer you know-gojo himself. Does that mean they're equal in terms lf strength? Fuck you hope not.
Geto then proceeds to use his bare fist to slam Panda's head to the ground, even creating a small crater. He then turns to you just in time to duck the sword you swung at him.
"TOGE!"
instead of continuing, you back away from geto, forced to withdraw your weapon. Now that Inumaki's around, it's better if you aren't caught in the crossfire. Cursed energy blocks your ears, now waiting for Inumaki's attack.
Panda holds tightly onto Geto's ankle, preventing the man from moving, "You were careless!"
You watch as the ground cave in below the curse user in front of you, now making a large and deep hole. Unfortunately, a part of Panda's hand is ripped apart from trying to hold Geto down. Though that wouldn't be much of a problem; he's a cursed corpse thay can be sewn back.
You turn to your classmates, running to them. Inumaki coughs out blood. His throat felt like shit.
"Toge, Panda. Maki.. She.." You say, worry in your eyes.
Inumaki's relieved to see you standing despite your injury, however, his eyes doesn't miss the blood seeping through your pajamas.
"What happened to Maki? She's unconcious.. Right?" Panda would hesitantly ask, looking back at the hole that Inumaki created.
"She.."
Though it must be nice to have some time to explain what happened to your friends, Geto isn't very patient.
