《OUTSIDERS || MAKI ZENIN.》Bloodshed

It's hard to go back to the way things were.
Tamaki quietly rested his head against the school desk, looking out to the front gates of the school. He watched every stranger or faculty member walk into them with sad eyes.
"What's wrong with Tamaki?" His friends whispered amongst each other.
"Eh, it's nothing. He's probably back to his depressing, boring self again." Aki rolled his eyes in annoyance at Tamaki from afar. He then patted his friends' backs,
"Come on, enough gawking! Let's go to that karaoke bar I talked about." They all nodded their heads and left the classroom, leaving Hatsumi to his thoughts.
He let out a tired sigh and his eyes almost tricked him when he saw a girl in a ponytail walk in.
But it wasn't her.
He felt a tear come out of his eye but he whimpered and wiped it away. He didn't want to cry again. He puts his hoodie over his uniform before taking his school bag and left for home.
His posture was so off with his back leaning forward and his shoulders easily defeated. He didn't like looking up so he looked down most of the time, with his feet being the center of the spotlight. He thought of listening to music as he walked home.
He puts on his earphones and they cancelled the noise around him. He walked further away from the school and then Ilomilo plays
'Great, just freakin great' Just the song he wanted to hear, he tells himself so sarcastically. Yet, he doesn't press the next button. He lets it all sink in, knowing this is the position he's in now.
Where did you go?
I should know
But it's cold and I don't
Wanna be lonely so show me the way home
I can't lose another life
He unlocks the door to his house. Back to the very beginning, all alone with no one to greet him. He played himself in the last days, thinking Maki would run back home. Hug him and maybe even kiss him the moment he opens the door.
It's a happy thought but one that could never happen, he admitted before walking up the stairs. Suki watches him and greets him with a 'meow.'
"Hey..Suki." He says so tiredly and the cat continues to keep her eyes on her owner. She can tell he hasn't been the same since.
Hurry, I'm worried
The world's a little blurry
Or maybe it's my eyes
The friends I've had to bury
They keep me up at night
He throws his backpack to the nearest chair and he witnesses the messy display in front of him. He left his bed unkempt and the tissues he had days ago stayed there, wrinkled or all torn up.
He sighed at the sight but doesn't care, he flops to the bed where he cried like a baby for days. It's only been five passing days and yet, it felt like forever.
He watched out out his window, watching the kids next door play in the backyard with mellow music playing in the background sometimes. He wasn't really watching them, but more like he blanked out as he stood in that spot.

He would have his knees huddled close to his chest, letting time pass.
At one point, his sweaty fists clenched the bed sheets and he woke up with a scream. He woke up crying and howling in pain, tears stinging his eyes from the nightmares he recently had. Suki runs to him and tries to comfort him but his cries turn more erratic.
His nightmares? Just thousands of chairs surrounding him but not one occupied them. He was all alone, suffocating in a white room without anyone's help.
He felt truly alone.
So where did you go?
I should know
But it's cold and I don't
Wanna be lonely so tell me you'll come home
Even if it's just a lie
Later,
He sat at the dinner table all by himself with a dim light over him. He reheated leftover chicken soup he made for the last two days. The taste was dull, but he did not mind.
He looked at the cup from the other side, a cracked glass and its pieces toppled over another. He doesn't feel guilty for throwing it the other day.
He was mad with his father too. He called and called but the call was a dead end.
He screamed across the room before grabbing the random glass cup and slamming it against the wall. He didn't care and let out a tired groan as he got on his knees pulling on his hair.
Thinking about it made his head throb and he immediately threw the food away.
This house was eating him alive and he had to leave. He got out of his school uniform and put a casual house before leaving the house with some money in his pocket.
He had to eat something good, maybe that'll help he thought. He walked into a nearby ramen shop and he immediately regret it. It was like couples' night, seeing a bunch of partners eating out together or a couple of friends kicking it after school.
He felt claustrophobic and asked for the last booth. He sat all by himself where he could eat to himself quietly. He's playing with his chasu and soup in his bowl.
He lets out a sigh.
"Maki would have liked this."
I tried not to upset you
Let you rescue me the day I met you
I just wanted to protect you
But now I'll never get to
"M-Maki..." He says her name so quietly. He hid his face with his hands, hovering over the table and dwelling in those good memories from before.
He stays like for awhile before paying off the food he barely ate.
He walked out and it was crowded already. He looked left and right before getting swarmed in. He walked and walked, minding his business like anyone else.
But then, he stops.
A trace of dark hair so recognizable to him. Framed glasses for sure on the girl, wearing a ponytail as well.
His face lit up for a moment and his lips start to quiver.
"MAKI!" He ran to the person with a smile on his face. He puts a hand on their shoulder and they look at Tamaki.
"Y-You came back! I knew y-"
He stops saying what he wanted to say. He kept his lips shut when he notices that the girl he just touched wasn't Maki at all.

"Um, I'm not Maki?" She says, taking a step back. She looked worried at him.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry..I thought you were somebody else." He apologized with a bow and left before he made things more awkward.
He ran away and made it to the alleyway to compose himself over what just happened. He felt bashful over it but he shook his head, continuing to walk away.
"Gosh, I'm such an idiot.." He muttered to himself, stepping on the puddles he met through the narrow way.
He's fuming in his thoughts and ignores Maki's previous pleads to never walk in the alleyways.
He thought it's okay to ignore it just this once,
But fuck, why does this happen to him. Out of all the people?!
He hears a moan around the corner and he stops. He stays put and a chill comes over him.
"M-Mister..?" A feminine but sinister voice says around the corner and Tamaki's breath hitches at it.
'I-Is that what I think it is?'
"Come closer..." It says. He doesn't listen and takes a step back before running away.
"I said..!" He finds himself immediately planted where he is. He can't move nor turn to see.
Suddenly,
a girl with black hair comes right to him. Her eyes covered by her overlong bangs.
"Tell me...am I pretty?"
'A curse spirit?!'
"Uh..." She cocks her head at him.
"Do. You. Think. I'm. ?" She says more demonic up at his face and he starts to cry when her breath hits his cheek. His eyes are closed and he starts to panic.
"No, no, no!" He's had enough of meeting these spirits here. "LEAVE ME ALONE!"
She takes offense to his answer and her fingers grow sharp like claws before piercing them to his side.
He bloody screams when her fingernails dug deep to his side. He squirms in his grip and before he can flee, his body is thrown up at the roof.
He yells when his body flops to the concrete and gasped out, blood coming out of his mouth.
'Fuck..I'm bleeding so much..It hurts
it hurts!'
He tries to crawl away but she suddenly appears up with him. She laughs, seeing her meal trying to escape for the third time.
"You think so high and mighty of yourself because you rejected a beautiful woman like me.." It cackles.
"Well, I guess I'm going to eat you now!"
This really is it, huh?
Maki was not going to save him. No one knows he's here. He thinks of her as he bled on the floor, and his mom, Suki and his dad.
"I-I'm sorry g-guys.." He gurgled out.
She stands over him,
"Maki, thanks for everything.."
He closed his eyes, accepting defeat. He was going to die here and now.
'But goddamn, I wanted to live!
I want to live for another day!'
She readies her claws and before she can tear his chest open, she's tackled down to the ground. She screeches when some big animal towers over her, sinking its claws onto her.
Tamaki opens his eyes wide opened and hoist his head up.
"Wait is that...
SUKI?!"
Suki, the small cat has turned to a bigger creature. A panther of some sort with those abnormal blue eyes. She was fast that Tamaki didn't notice her, nor did the spirit.
Suki is pushed away and looks back, running towards Tamaki. She scoops him up to her back as the spirit chases him down.
"Don't try to escape!" She roars.
"Suki...how are you..?"
Suki simply stares at him intensely.
She was not a normal cat.
"Suki, what are we going to do? You can't just run forever?" it's like she knew what he said because the moment he said those words, something illuminated in the back where he laid. He gasped and moved his head back when he sees weapons literally coming out of her back as if she was an inventory.
"W-What.."
He looks up and holds his hands out, two swords put in his care.
Dual blades.
"Y-You want me to kill her?" He asked and she looks back at him. Suddenly, they almost have a telepathic link. She did not speak but he heard her mind.
'I'm going to fuse with you and you're going to kill her.'
He's confused by it still but he nods at her. Realizing this is the only way they will get out.
"Come HEREEE!" The spirit screeches, its fingernails shooting straight to its legs, forcing Suki and Tamaki to fly off in the air.
'Now!' Suki says and suddenly Tamaki screams by the overwhelming pressure he felt when Suki entered his body. He closed his eyes and let out noises of pain before slamming against a hard wall. He rolled over and finds his back against the wall with his head hung down.
The evil spirit floats down to see an unconscious Tamaki on the floor.
"Don't. Try. To. leave." She says and walks over. But then she stops and notices Tamaki groan and his head, slightly going up.
A sudden wave of energy fills the air and she lowers her finger blades down.
He opens his eyes, the fearful Tamaki no more.
"Oh ohh.." He says so playfully in his voice.
"I'm alive." he says, looking at her with the eye.
Without giving her time to react, he comes launching at her with his blades and sliced her limbs up. She screams and tries to retaliate but he launches her back with a powerful hit.
She shakes her head and looks up,
Her eyes widened.
He simply is looking down at her, with a pleasant smile on his face. A sudden thrill coursing through is veins at the sight of the spirit looking at him, trembling in fear.
"Time to die." He says before letting out a roar and pummeling her with one of the swords in his hand. He treats it like a baseball bat, slamming into her head hard and hard until she's no more.
She dies and her body turns to dust.
He looks up before dropping the weapon down.
Is all he says before knocking down to the floor.

THE TIME MACHINE (Completed)
The Time Machine is a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells, published in 1895 and written as a frame narrative. Wells is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel by using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposely and selectively forwards or backward in time. The term "time machine", coined by Wells, is now almost universally used to refer to such a vehicle. The Time Machine has been adapted into three feature films of the same name, as well as two television versions, and a large number of comic book adaptations. It has also indirectly inspired many more works of fiction in many media productions.
