"Miguel, you have a visitor."

Miguel was surprised to see her. After everything he did she came to see him.

"What are you doing here Sammy? How is she?"

"I just came to tell you that Cassie is still in the hospital. But she is now out of danger. She almost lost her baby and her life because of your selfishness! You almost killed the person you said you love more than anyone else."

Miguel was silent. He was relieved that Cassandra was safe. He wanted nothing more than for her to be saved.

"I just wanted her to love me. I did everything for love."

"That's where you're wrong Miguel. Love is not just wanting to be with the one you love. Love is much more than that. . . Love is giving and caring. It does not hold grudge. Love is forgiveness. Love is sacrifice. Love is doing the right thing even if it will hurt you the most."

Miguel's tears started to fall. He knew he did something that may never be forgiven. When he heard from Marco on his visit that Cassandra was in comma, he prayed for the first time in his life. He prayed for forgiveness and Cassandra's safety. He promised that if she survives, he will admit his guilt and spend his life paying for his every sin.

"Im sorry Sammy. Sorry for everything."

"I know I have done a lot of wrong things to a lot of people, to Cassandra, Sophia, you, Marco and most specially to Lance but I can never take back time or change everything I have done."

"You know what you have to do Miguel. You still have a chance to redeem yourself."

After that meeting, Miguel pleaded guilty on all the cases against him.

He may not be able to change his dark past, but in his own way, he can still try and change his future.
