《Changed》Chapter 10

There stood, in the doorway, Izuku Midoryia.
"Man, am I glad to see-" David was silenced by a glare from Daisy.
"Aw~ But, Izu~" The class flinched at the new nickname. "I was just about to have my fun~" She looked David up and down like he was a cattle in the market.
"No can do," Izuku said. "Haley specifically said, 'He better still be alive enough for training or I'm going to be the one to beat his ass.'" But, The class thought. Isn't he supposed to be her boyfriend? Mr. Aizawa, on the other hand, inwardly groaned and proceeded to snuggle into his sleeping bag and turn away from the crowd. I will never understand teenagers.
"Ugh," Daisy stepped away from David. "Fine. Tell Haley she can get her boyfriend back. Alive." She glared at David. "But, I can't say the same after training." The grin back on her face. Izuku didn't seem shaken at all by her threat, much unlike David and the class.
"Sure, sure." Izuku waved her off. Daisy huffed and sat down at a desk in the back.
"Ummm..." Bakugou broke the tension between the class and the other three. "What the FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!?!"
"Oh," Izuku looked at Bakugou. "Bakugou..." Bakugou involuntarily grimaced at the new name. He, and the rest of the class, were all honestly waiting to see what Izuku's reaction to both him and Todoroki would be. Since they all decided that they were the main reason that Izuku moved, and they weren't wrong.
"Hey!" Everyone, excluding Daisy and Mr. Aizawa, who had already fallen asleep, turned to look at the new intruder. Izuku smiled when he saw the male that spoke and the other two behind him.
"Hey, babe." All the students went wide-eyed. D-Izuku has a BOYFRIEND?!?! Everyone screamed in their heads.
"Hey," The male kissed Izuku, making everyone else draw in another sharp breath. He then proceeded to laugh at the faces Class 3-A was making. "Close your mouths, you might catch a few flies." Snapping their jaw shut, Izuku and the other male found themselves being bombarded by questions.
"Stop!" Izuku held up his hand. Everyone shut up. "One at a time. Uraraka."
"You have a boyfriend?!"
"Yes," He answered quickly. "Tokoyami."
"What's his name?"
"Jake." The male said. "My name's Jake Ranger."
"Tsu."
"How long have you guys been together? Kero."
"About," Izuku looked at Jake.
"About a year and a half?" Jake asked him.
"Yeah, that sounds right." The class took a double-take. A year and a half?!
"Next. Umm..." Izuku surveyed the crowd of hands. "Kaminari."
"How was America?!"
"It was fun. Met a lot of nice people." He looked at Jake who smiled and kissed him on the cheek. The girls swooned and the guys just stood there awkwardly, though happy that Izuku found someone else. Even Todoroki and Bakugou, who both regretted what they did a lot.
"Momo."
"What do you go by?" Izuku raised an eyebrow. "I mean," Momo expanded on her question. "We used to call you Deku," Izuku cringed at that. "See, you obviously don't go by that anymore. And, Daisy? Was it? Called you Izu."

"Oh, yeah." You could practically see a light bulb light up in the head. "I go by Izuku, Izu, Zuzu, Zuku... Well, those are the ones that I can remember." Momo nodded, satisfied with the answer.
"Iida."
"How long are you going to be staying in Japan?"
"About a week. I think... Yeah, a week."
"Let's do a few more, cause I want to get to training." He smirked. The class was confused. They all knew that before he left, he always liked to train and push himself, but now, he looked way too excited. "Jirou."
After answering a few more questions, Izuku and his friends all sat down next to Daisy, though David opted to sit the furthest away.
"Okay, problem children." Mr. Aizawa finally woke up and flopped onto his desk. "Time to start English."
"Isn't Present Mic supposed to teach English?" Ojiro asked.
"He's out. Now, shush."
"Okay," Mr. AIzawa announced. It was training and they were all in the gym. Even a few teachers and other classes decided to stop by and see the new American exchange students in action. Teachers for the reason to see the famed 'Six Crows' and for the students, well, they didn't really have a choice. Though they were still excited. Whether it was because they got to see new people fight, or they got off from class, I'll never know. "Since you guys have already seen each other fight and know their techniques, you're going to spectate the American student's fight against each other."
"But," Todoroki interjected. "Didn't we already see that two times already?" Class 3-A remembered the incident last night and this morning. Most of them shuddered at the thought of seeing them fight at full power against each other. The others just stood there, bewildered about what he was talking about.
"Alright!" Izuku broke them all out of their thoughts. "Let's show them what we can do!" The six American students all looked between each other and smirked. Oh, this will be fun.
"Get into position." Mr. AIzawa ordered. "It's going to be heroes vs villains. On the hero team is; Midoryia, Jake, and Daisy. That leaves Haley, David, and Thomas on the villain team." They all nodded at the six moved onto the mat while the rest of them went to sit on the bleachers a safe distance away.
"Each team will have ten minutes to come up with a plan. Time starts now." A digital timer came to life on a wall.
"Okay," Izuku huddled around with his teammates. "David will obviously try to avoid Daisy after this morning and he's smart enough to not go against me. So, he will most likely come after you, Jake." Jake nodded. "Haley is the most evenly match with me, so they will probably pair her up with me. So, that leaves you with Thomas. That should be easy." Izuku explained.
"Got it," Daisy said. "I can use vibrations to direct bullets or any projectiles away from me and try to knock him off his feet. If any of you need help, I'll try to send a vibration through the earth to knock your opponent off their feet." The other two nodded.

"Here's my plan." Jake started talking. "So, David almost always goes into an offensive mode with me, since his quirk allows him to be both a close and long-range fighter, while mine is definitely a close-range one. So, I'm going to try and catch him off guard by slashing first and try to force him into defense. Since he's worse at defense than offense. If not, I'll use the smoke grenade to blind him then use my senses to track and try to ambush him."
"Good plan," Izuku complimented him. "I'll go into the air to give you guys some space and force her to fly, too. I can keep on dodging Haley's attacks since she knows that only two of those blasts are needed to take me down and I'm going to fire back with my handguns until she runs low on energy and has to resort to using her guns. That's when I'll move in and try to get the upper hand. From there, it's just hand to hand, maybe sword to sword." They all nodded, satisfied with their ideas.
"Okay, time's up!" Izuku and his friends put their fists in a circle. The spectators along the bleachers could see that the villain team also did the same thing.
"Ad Corvos!" They all yelled at the same time.
"What does that mean?" Uraraka asked.
"It means, 'to the crows' in Latin," Momo said, matter-of-factly.
"Why would they say, 'to the crows'?" Todoroki wondered aloud.
"I don't know," Uraraka admitted. "I feel like I don't know anything about him anymore." She looked sadly at Izuku. Everyone silently agreed, even Bakugou.
"Alright," Mr. Aizawa broke them out of their reminiscent mood. "In your positions."
"Ready."
"Set."
"Go!"
The second he uttered the last words, chaos broke out. On both the bleachers and the 'battlefield'. Jake slashed at David's face like he said he would and David blocked it last second, but it threw him off balance a bit. Milliseconds later, he and Jake were both engulfed in smoke and the only thing you could hear was grunting and yelps of pain from both parties.
Across the 'battlefield', Thomas automatically summoned two guns and fired relentlessly at Daisy. The teachers tensed, though Mr. AIzawa not as much as the others, he knew to trust these students a bit. He had to physically restrain a few teachers from rushing out to 'save' Daisy. But, they all calmed down when they saw that Daisy redirected or even completely stopped the bullets mid-air before they reached her. While she was slowing down the bullets, she stomped her foot and Thomas fell. Though, he quickly regained his composure and got up again, only to be met with a swift kick to the head. He retaliated by making his guns disappear and making a metal rod in one hand and throwing knives in the other. Daisy balled her fists and eyed him.
"Bring it on." Thomas just smirked and threw knives at the speed of light.
Class 3-A, mostly, and the teachers that knew Izuku before he moved, all almost fell out of their seats when a pair of horns protruded from his head, two devil wings grew out of his back, tearing his uniform, and a tail seemingly appearing out of nowhere.
"W-W-" Bakugou was cut off when Haley shimmered and a pair of angel wings appeared on her back and a halo faded into existence over her head.
Izuku took off and Haley shortly followed. They flew up to the roof of the gym, forcing the people sitting on the bleachers to crane their necks to see them. Haley, like Izuku, predicted, started firing beams of light from her palms. Izuku swiftly dodged them all and a pair of handguns appeared in his hands. He started shooting at her while still dodging. This proceeded for a minute and by the time Haley started to wear out, Thomas and Jake were already out and Daisy was fighting David.
"Enough playing around." Izuku grinned. The guns disappeared and he started shooting blasts of midnight black and tints of green in them at Haley. She swerved around them and started firing bullets with one hand and rays of light with her other.
Back on the ground, Daisy eventually pinned David's hands down and he yielded. Now, truly everybody was watching the fight above them.
Izuku seemed to only be tiring slightly while Haley was sweating bullets. They both touched down on the ground and Izuku immediately launched into hand to hand combat while Haley tried to keep up.
Izuku threw a punch at her gut, and Haley step-sided, and punched his side. Izuku merely grunted and swept his foot under her feet. Haley jumped over it but was faced with a kick to the stomach. She did a double-take and Izuku elbowed her in the head.
Holding an arm against her throat, he said, "Yield," In such a demanding tone that made everyone shiver.
"I yield." Haley smiled. Izuku dropped his arm and helped Haley up.
"You should know better than that," He scolded. Haley just laughed it off and healed herself.
"I know, I know." Izuku patted her on her shoulder and they walked towards the others who had already been healed by Recovery Girl.
"Good job, Izu!" Daisy cheered.
"Nah," Izuku laughed. "You defeated two as well. Don't give me all the credit."
"No way," Thomas beamed. "You did great!"
"You did, too. Just make sure try to use hand to hand more and not long-rang right off the bat all the time." Thomas smiled and thanked him for the advice.
"Great job, babe." Jake kissed Izuku, causing him to blush slightly.
"Thanks, but you mister, need to work more on ambushing. You did good, but try to get the opponent down quickly, and not let them adjust to the smoke." Jake just nodded and pecked him on the lips.
"Man, you gotta stop being so fucking humble," David complained. "It makes me feel as greedy as fuck." Izuku just chuckled.
"You did great on the ambush, but same as Thomas, use hand to hand more and mix up your styles to catch your opponent off guard and so that they can't predict what you do next."
"Got it, Izu!"
"Okay, WHAT THE FUCK?!"

What will happen to Nathan as he traverses life in the academy? Will his secret be found out?Or will he be able to safely make it through the four years of academy life with his secret intact? That has yet to be foretold. The beginning of the story starts out slow for what many Royal Road readers are used to and then speeds up after around chapter 20 or so. It is a school arc, so it is supposed to be slow. Most of the combat and action isn't seen until after these chapters, which you can view as an introduction to the world, the characters, and magic itself. Many of the reviews are outdated due to edits I've been making along the way through the story. Specifically some of the edits going over the world itself, including pointing out in the story some of the things a few of the reviewers missed when they wrote their reviews, along with fixing other things that were pointed out in the story from the reviews and comments. This book is also being edited as it's being written, so some small parts might change as I get suggestions from readers. I do not write harem or sexual content in my stories. Ever.
