(Warning: Time Skip Spoilers)
"Yeah of course I finished signing the papers with Kageyama san and Hinata san," Kuroo stated, over the phone to his driver, "they're the same as always, just a bit taller, still very exciting though."
Kuroo finally finished his last job from his business trip. He is currently on the phone to decided whether his driver should meet up with him at his location or if he should walk.
"Alright sir, would you like me to drive over to your location?" Ito asked.
Kuroo stopped walking and talking on the phone. A gold ring had caught his eye on the way to his car. He bent down a bit to take a closer look at the ring.
(this is what the ring looked like, but you can always change it)
"Sir are you alright," Ito asked, snapping Kuroo out of his thoughts.
"Yeah I'm fine, why don't you meet with me in front of Tiffany & Co," Kuroo stated, as he entered the boutique, "I have some business to attend here."
Ito hung up and began to drive over to the destination, which they had passed an hour ago.
Kuroo walked up to the sales lady to take a look of the ring he saw.
"Welcome customer, how may I help you today?" the sales lady asked.
"May I take a look at the displayed ring out in the front?" Kuroo asked as he set his case down.
"You mean the gold band right?" the sales lady asked.
"Yes that one." Kuroo nodded.
"Alright, I'll get the one in the back since that's for display, " the sales lady replied, "what's the size you wanted?"
"(insert your ring size) please, "Kuroo said with a smile.
"I'll be back in a second sir," the sales lady responded.
After a couple minutes, the sales lady came out with a red box that held the ring. She opened it in front of Kuroo and allowed him to take a look. He took a close look at the simple yet intriguing details.
Kuroo wondered why that design caught his eyes once he passed the boutique, but now he knew. The design was quite simple, but still beautiful. It reminded him of Y/N. That's when he knew, that he should propose.
"How much is it for this ring?" Kuroo asked.
"It's going to be 271622.50 yen, because it's a really new design," the sales lady stated, "your girlfriend would love this though, it's all worth the cost."
Kuroo looked through his wallet and took out his card, "Here put it on my card, I'll take it."
"Okay sir," the sales lady said.
"I was wondering, do you think my girlfriend would like it if I proposed to her with this ring?" Kuroo asked.
"If you asked me, I think so," the sale lady replied, handing back the card and box, "I'm sure she'll appreciate whatever you give her, even if this isn't a normal proposal ring."

"Okay, thanks again." Kuroo thanked as he put his card back.
Kuroo picked up his case with his left hand and had the ring box held with his right hand. Ito had parked right in front of the shop, so Kuroo didn't have to walk very far. He entered his car and dropped his case right next to him.
"Did you get what you needed sir?" Ito asked.
"Yep, thanks for driving up here." Kuroo stated, admiring the ring once again.
Ito began driving, "No problem, it's just my job. Anyways what did you buy?"
Kuroo responded as he put the box away in his pocket, "I bought something for my future wife, if she says yes anyways."
"Future congrats to you sir." Ito said with a smile.
*Meanwhile in Tokyo*
Y/N worked at her own small cafe with her other two workers, who she had hired a while back.
The bell from the top of Y/N's cafe door rang and a tall man with grey hair had just walked in. He wore a suit with some dark shades, assuming that Y/N didn't know his identity. He walked up to the register area, where Y/N finished helping a customer.
"Wait Lev san?" Y/N said, coming out from behind the register area.
"Dang it, I wasn't sneaky enough," Lev thought to himself.
"Hey Y/N chan, long time no see," Lev greeted, opening his arms for Y/N.
The two hugged each other before Y/N lead Lev to a table. Y/N sat Lev dowb before heading to the back of the cafe.
"Hey Yoshikazu chan, Misumi chan, do you guys mind being in charge for now?" Y/N asked, popping into the back of the cafe.
"Yeah no problem boss," Misumi replied, "you should catch up with your friend right now."
"Thanks you two," Y/N thanked, before she walked back out.
Y/N sat down in front of Lev to catch up.
"How'd you know it was me?" Lev pouted.
"I mean you're still as tall as ever," Y/N smiled, "and you're the only person i know who could pull off grey hair."
"I guess," Lev hummed laying his head down on the table.
"It's nice that you still kept your childish personality after all these years." Y/N commented.
"I'll just take that as a compliment, the jet lag kinda got to me and it's even tiring to argue."
"Then how come you didn't sleep on your first day off?" Y/N asked.
"I wanted to see everyone, with the two weeks I have off." Lev stated, "It's nice having my manager allowing me to get a break, we all haven't seen each other in a month."
"If you're here in Japan, then isn't Alisa san here too?" Y/N asked.
"Yeah, she wanted to see you, but she had an anniversary with her girlfriend today," Lev answered, setting his head down on the table, "she wanted to surprise her with something."

"That makes sense, her girlfriend came by the other week to talk about how excited she was for the anniversary." Y/N noted.
"I was wondering," Y/N began, "how long are you staying in Japan?"
"Like around two weeks, that's what my manager told me anyways," Lev answered, "and then it's off to somewhere else, why'd you asked."
"We should meet up with our friends," Y/N suggested, "and we could also invite, Mai san, Akane san, Alisa san, and her girlfriend."
"You mean with Kenma san, Yamamoto san, Yaku san, Kai san, and Kuroo san right?"
"Yeah, of course."
"Actually, that's a great idea," Lev said, lifting his head from the table, "Yaku san comes back tonight too, so what if we met up this week on Friday."
"We can't do that, Kenma san told me that Mai san and him are going on a date that day." Y/N replied.
"What about Monday this week?"
"Yamamoto san has practice on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday."
"Everyone seems so busy the next two weeks," Lev said, "Yaku has to come back a week before me."
"If I remember correctly, everyone is free on Tuesday," Y/N said, "Tetsu san is coming back tonight as well, but is working again on Friday."
"This also gives you and Yaku san free time to rest on Monday," Y/N continued.
"Actually that's a great idea, I assume Alisa san and her girl friend are free on that day right?"
"I'll check up on Akane san to see if she's free too,"
"Okay, I'll go make a group chat for all of us when I get home," Lev replied, "I need to re energize for Tuesday night."
Y/N continued to work once Lev left to go home and sleep. The rest of the day was quite quiet. Customers came and went, and Y/N made good money that day. Y/N decided to close the cafe at 9:30 pm, like she always had. Her workers greeted her a good bye as she turned off all the lights before heading home.
*Time Skip to Tonight*
Kuroo came back to his pent house at around 12 pm, due to the traffic Ito and him have faced a while ago. He rushed to drop his case of at it's designated area before jogging up the stairs to Y/N's and his shared bedroom.
Kuroo kneeled beside their bed to wake Y/N up.
Kuroo poked Y/N's cheek, "Chibi chan...Chibi chan wake up."
Kuroo pouted, knowing that this wouldn't work. He had an idea and kissed Y/N's forehead to wake her up instead. Y/N yawned and slowly woke up.
"Hey Tetsu san, did you shower yet?" Y/N asked, sitting up to hug Kuroo.
Kuroo adjusted the blankets so it was around Y/N's shoulder, "Yeah, I'll shower once I'm done. Now that's aside my point anyways."
Kuroo adjusted his kneeling and now he was on one knee.
"Kuroo why are you on one knee, did something happen with your left leg?" Y/N asked, genuinely worried.
Kuroo inhaled before starting, "Y/N chan I want to spend the rest of our life together. And I know this isn't the cheesiest or best way to tell you, since I planned to do this today or well I mean yesterday."
"Um dang it I'm tripping over my words now." Kuroo mumbled.
Y/N was a bit confused now, since she was half asleep.
"Oh yes, having you by my side makes me really happy and complete. So will you marry me." Kuroo finished, as he opened the red box revealing the ring he had bought yesterday.
Y/N paused for a second, out of shock and happiness. She began tearing up as Kuroo was confused with her speechlessness.
"Um Chibi chan, is this a no...?" Kuroo began.
"Sorry yes, what I mean is I want to marry you." Y/N repeated nodded, wiping her tears away in the process.
Kuroo slid on the ring, "No worries Chibi chan."
Kuroo placed a kiss on Y/N's lips before hugging her tightly.
"I love you L/N F/N. I love you forever and always."
***********************************************************************************************
If you were wondering why the proposal was a bit less grand, there is a reason. I did research months ago about proposals, because I'm actually 13 years old and I don't know a lot about romance. And it says that Japanese people don't like to do grand proposal in front of a crowd. I had an idea before where Kuroo proposed to Y/N in front of their friends during the meet up on Tuesday, but that was cancelled out. It took me a while to figure out what to do until I came up with an idea before bed time, while I was scrolling through TikTok.
Another thing that you the reader might have noticed, was the lack of PDA during the extra chapters. I wanted to teach you guys a bit of a love lesson, which was "love is a commitment". From the beginning there was a lot a PDA as you know, but it slowly faded once the new chapters came in. At beginning of a relationship, there's going to be new things that you haven't experience that you will enjoy and hope you keep forever. The second step is the hardest to take because many people tend to break up once things get boring and it's no longer exciting as it was before. Even though the excitement isn't there anymore, the love you had for each other has not changed, if you look hard enough.
The total word count for this chapter was 2000, so nothing much. Thank you for your time and happy reading.
