《Game on》Chapter Ten

"Because I am the father of the baby you are carrying." I smiled when her eyes widened. I guess she wasn't expecting to hear what I said.
"Jimin..." She started but I immediately cut her off.
"Y/N, please don't deny it for today. I don't want to argues with you today. Just let me enjoy this moment." I pleased which seemed to keep her quiet.
Once we arrived at the café I stopped her. She looked at me in confusion but I did not say anything to her. I knelt down infront of her stomach and place both my hands on each side of her stomach.
"Baby, even though your mother denies that you are mine we both know that you are mine. For you I began my change and I promise that I will be at my best by the time you arrive. I love you so much baby, I hope you know that." I finished off by placing a kiss on her stomach and I got a small kick in response which made my smile widen.
When I stood back up I saw tears streaming down Y/N's cheeks. It made me panic that maybe I had done something wrong.
"What's wrong?" I asked as I reached to wipe the tears off her face but she jerked back as soon as my hand touched her cheek.
"Jimin please stop. You can't keep doing this. I already told you this baby is not yours. Just leave me alone." She answered and before I could say anything she walked into the café.
My heart sank at her words but I could not find it in me to believe them. I knew that the baby was in fact mine and I was not going to give up but for now I would stop bothering her because I did not want her to stress.

I looked at the door before sighing and walking away.
After my last words Jimin had stopped coming to see me which was a relief. I had not seen him in months which made me kind of worry but I brushed off the feeling not understand why I would actually worry about him
"Y/N could you please stop daydreaming and get back to work." Mrs Park broke me out of my thoughts and I immediately nodded my head toward her.
But before I could even take a step further I felt something wet running down my legs. My eyes immediately widened upon realisation of what was happening and I began to internally panicking. I was relieved though because I was no where near the customers.
"Um... Mrs P-Park, m-may I please get off work now?" I stuttered trying to calm myself down. The tone in my voice seemed to grab her attention.
"Sweetheart, what's wrong?" She asked stepping toward me but stopped as she noticed the puddle around my feet.
"I need to get myself to the hospital." I told her but she soon came to my aid.
"Ok hun, stay calm though and take deep breaths. I will get you to the hospital as soon as possible. Stella please take care of everything here." She told her manager and guided me out of the café.
I began feeling the contractions when we got outside. I hunched over hoping that it would make the pain fade faster.
"Honey, breathe in and out." She tried to help but in all honesty it was not working.
"Mom?" A voice called out and both Mrs Park and I turned in the direction it came from.
Jimin stood there with a confused look on his face but when he saw me he rushed over to help. Before I knew it I was lifted into his arms as another contraction hit me hard.

I hissed and clutched onto Jimin's shirt as if my life depended on it. It was the worst pain I had ever experienced.
"P-please hurry..." I whispered as I felt the contraction nearing it's end.
He just nodded and I was soon put in the backseat of Mrs Park's car.
After what felt like forever we finally arrived at the hospital but only discovered that I was only five centimetres dilated so I still had to wait for this baby to be taken out of me.
As I laied in the hospital bed I could not help but to silently curse Jimin for doing this to me
It was all his fault that I was in the this mess.
"Are you o-okay?" Jimin as we were now left alone in the room. His mom was doing the paper work because I could not do it right now and I had no parents.
"ARE YOU STUPID?! DO I LOOK OKAY TO YOU?!" I yelled at him as another contraction hit and this one was the worst of them all.
"Sorry..." He mumbled before shut his mouth.
We sat in silence as we waited for my mom to be done with the paperwork. A doctor would come in every now to check how dilated she was but other than that it was really quiet.
I could not help but to feel really guilty because this was my fault. She was in pain and I was the only one to blame.
"I-I... Um I-I'm going to get food." I told her as I could not stand the silence anymore.
"Well how nice now he is mocking me that I can't eat because of this child of his." She whispered angry probably thinking that I could not hear what she said.
I awkwardly stood up and walked out but not before mumbling another sorry.
When I was out the room I bumped into my mother.
"H-hey mom." I awkwardly said as I rubbed the back of my neck.
"So are you ready to be a father?" She asked making my eyes widen in shock.
"W-wha- how... How did you k-know?"

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.
