《Mindlessly Wandering (Shinso x Reader)》Chapter 13

I groggily woke up to the sound of shuffling. My head throbbed and felt like a ton of bricks had been dropped onto it. My body was starting even though I felt cold.
I opened my heavy eyes and was met with lavender hair. My head was on Shinso's chest as he played video games on his phone.
"Oh, you're awake. Good morning sleepy head." He said with a smile.
"Hmm? Did I really sleep a whole day?" I asked.
"No," He said putting the phone down and resting his arms around my sides, "But you did sleep for a good hour and a half."
I felt blood rush to my face again as he did so.
"You are very clingy when you sleep, you know that?" Shinso asked looking into my eyes. "Like I don't mind, but damn. When you hug someone, you hug someone."
I gently pushed myself off of him and apologised. Shinso made a grabby motion towards me and pouted.
"Noooo come back...you're warm." Shinso whined.
"Seriously, again?" Aizawa's voice came from my door causing Shinso to shoot up.
Shinso regretted this as he placed a hand to his head from feeling dizzy.
"Sorry sir, I just didn't want (y/n) to he alone again. I know what it's like to be alone and I would hate to see her suffer through it." He said rubbing the back of his head.
Aizawa just sighed and stepped in with two cold wet rags.
"As long as you don't touch her, I will allow it. (Y/n), are you okay with it?" Aizawa asked me as he placed the towel upon my forehead.
I slowly nodded my head and averted my gaze. I felt the heat rushing back to my cheeks.

I felt Aizawa placed his hand on my cheek and did the same to Shinso.
"You're both spiking fevers still. I'll have to go and get medicine." He said as he placed his hands on his hips.
"I don't get fevers often so I don't usually buy the meds. I'll only be out 10-20 minutes. Shinso, here's my phone number. Call me if anything happens." Aizawa said.
"Okay."
"Bye Aizawa.." I said quietly.
"Sorry kiddo, I'll be back soon okay?" He said ruffling my hair and I just nodded my head.
"Alright then, I'm off."
And with that, Aizawa left for a second time.
Shinso stretched and turned onto his side to face me.
"How are you feeling?" He asked me.
I turned my head towards him and shrugged.
"Hmm..are you uncomfortable? Cold? Hungry?"
I shook my head and rested my eyes shut. I wanted to talk to him, but I wasn't sure of what...and I knew I was making things awkward for Shinso too.
"Hmm.." The tired boy hummed.
Just. . .talk to him. . .about anything. . .
My mind and mouth kept arguing with each other as the room grew more silent.
He probably doesn't want to talk to me though.
I don't understand why I must be so shy around him. . .
After much contemplation I finally worked up the courage to speak to him.
"S-so...what kind of hero do you want t-o be?" I said quietly.
. . .no answer?
I opened my eyes and turned my head towards Shinso who was sleeping peacefully. While I felt a little sad that I bored him to sleep, I also knew he was just as sick as I was.
I can...talk with him later...yeah...
Later...
"I'm home." I said as I walked into (y/n)'s room.
I felt my eyes widen and chest tighten up at what I saw. Both (y/n) and Shinso were asleep in each other's arms.
I should've never left them alone together.
I rubbed my tired eyes as I turned off her main light and slightly closed the door.
This Shinso kid is going to be trouble.
