《Niki's Karan》Chp-23 I Love Him or Not?

I don't think I have dragged anyone this much in my life. And like a doll in my arms I lead towards Niki's house.
The door was open. Of course it would be. When we were inside the whole house was in same..
"What's new here? And most important where are all?" She didn't even let me to complete my thought!
"Have I told you something while were coming here? "
"Yeah, you told me that we are at our final destination." She responded turning towards me but still in my arms.
"Just that?" I raised a eyebrow and the when I saw her she looked flushed. Oh my, she is blushing. Sight to be seen, huh?
"Yo ..you told me that we are goi..going to my ro..room." Oh, god now she is stammering.
"Why are you stammering? Is something wrong? Did you caught cold or something? Huh?"
"Karan! You said we are going to MY ROOM!" I just stared at her for a time and then I realised what was she thinking!
"Are you getting naughty thoughts, dear. Well I don't mind even..."
"Shut the hell up! Now I'm really thinking if I really should be with you! You ..."
"Ok, ok, I wasn't going to do anything to anyone but now that we are at our final destination how about I make you a sandwich?"
"A sandwich made by you, one that you make specially for me? You know that's the main reason I think I should always be with you." She said hugging me and even giving me sweet little kiss on my cheek that lingered a little long. Her soft lips felt so right, so real, so ... No, no, no... You have a mission to complete.
She took a step back and giving me a small smile. "You know you look so cute when you blush. I could have said sexy, but it would get me slap from you." And she slapped me at the same place where some second before her lips were touching. Wow, isn't it amazing, I mean really amazing.
"Well you got one." She smirked.
"You know you are a devil."

"Well, I'm a bad Angel."
"Good. Now go upstairs and get comfortable. I know you don't like all this dressing up thing."
"How good, that you know."
"Of course, after all I'm all yours." I said with a smile and she just stared and then closed her eyes. "Please tell me this isn't a dream. I'm really sacred that when I will open my eyes you won't be here."
"How about you open and see if this really is a dream or reality."
"I'm scared." She almost whispered. I cupped her cheek asking her to open her eyes. And she did. But what I didn't aspected was lingering tears on the edge of her eyes. "Could you not cry?"
"I don't cry."
"Of, course you don't. Now go upstairs and get fresh. I will make you Karan special sandwich for you." She nodded and moved backwards still her eyes not taking her eyes from me. "I'm not going anywhere, just go." And in next movement she moved upstairs and I was still standing on the door.
One.
She now would have reached the second last step.
Two.
Last step.
Three.
She will reach the door.
Four.
She once would try to come back but will shook her head in no.
And Five.
"KARAN!!!! Mr. Karan...you are gone!" And mission accomplished.
She came running down the stairs shouting. "Mr. Karan you are going to get me all those chocolate whose rapper that are lying on my floor."
"Well, I think I must go..."
"Oh, no, just stay there where you are." Well I wouldn't even dare to move. But it was fun seeing her. And then she came running towards me.
She was just three steps away when in a instant I pulled her making a stumble and before she could say hello to the beautiful floor I grabbed her waist and in quick reflex she grabbed my shirt shutting her eyes close.
Just perfect. I slowly made her stand and when she opened her eyes to say anything I just kissed her.
Kissed her lips, that just stayed there, without moving. Like mine. I don't know how long but we just stood there, not moving. Our lips that have now collapsed have froze. Our eyes not blinking. Her eyes drowning me in them. While her, they searched something in me. Trying to despair something.

"We met again." She whispered against my lips. And I smiled.
"Yes." I answered. "We parted here four years ago.I realised how much I love you here, how much I will miss you, and why my heart aches whenever you weren't around me."
"Don't be filmy." She chuckled.
"Well, you can't blame me. I have to watch movies because you were addicted with animation."
"Just shut the hell up and say 'I Love You.' "
"You just said it. And I know you know it. Why to say again?"
"How about I kill you."
"You can after this." And I kissed her hard. Devoting all my emotions to her. She too didn't resisted, with all her power she did same. My lips ceased her, moulding. I felt her hand tighten against mine, holding me there for never to let go, and I never wanted to. It was her who have made me realise what actually love is. And for that I really am happy...well Happy couldn't be a accurate word to describe it.
We parted, our breath mingling and unregulated.
"You are a fool, a real fool whom I wanted stab with a pen." She mumbled with a smile.
"Yeah, I'm your fool." She slapped me on my shoulder while it was cruelly ruined by some one.
"If your PDA is over, can we move on. If you can see, all of us are waiting." Of course it should be Nik. This both brother and sister need everything to make so special.
I saw Nik, Tina with Nitin and of course my Dad. Only thing that I didn't understood was why was Ronit still here. His blue eyes never leaving Niki's face. Their was an unknown emotion that I could see but at the same time it felt like I have been through that emotion. A longing emotion with pain and ...... Did he, oh my! He likes Niki!
"So, should we fix the wedding date or you both are going to have more adventurous years ahead." It was Tina that taunted us with her sweet smile. I always have been awwed by how can someone be so simple and understanding. I'm lucky to have such a good friends, well can say now such a good family.
"I'm not waiting anymore," Niki quickly said pulling herself away from my arms, "Uncle, can we marry...."
"I have already done all the arrangements, don't worry dear," I thought my dad is a business man, I didn't knew he could predict things. "And yes, you can call me Papaji."
And then....
**"***
"What are you doing, Kaya?" Kaya suddenly jerked up listening the voice of her Dad. Quickly she tried to hide the thing in her hand. "And that too at five in the morning?" He asked looking at her with
"Huh..hu.. Nothing, nothing, Papa . I was just preparing for ...yes, test. Tomorrow is our history test. That's why I was studying. You know how much I hate history." Kaya lied smoothly, well she tried to. "By the way, papa, why are you being early bird?"
"I believe in waking up early is good for health, Kaya, and you know I brought something for your mom last night but forgot to give you cause your mom said you slept early."
"Of course, you always wake up early.." Kaya whispered.
"What?" Her Dad asked.
"Nothing, humm, Dad, is mom still sleeping? No, I don't need answer. And you can keep dairy milk in my drawer." She answered with a cheeky smile directing her hand towards the bed side drawer, to which her Dad gave her a questioning look.
"Kaya, I think, you love history. But you know reading that is not the part of your syllabus." Her Dad announced taking the look of what she was holding and that's when Kaya realized about what she was hiding was now in front of her Dad.
"What in the name of god is happening here?" Kaya's Mom asked and both Kaya and her Dad straighten from sudden voice of Niki.
"Fu*k!" Kaya and Karan cursed and that was their mistake.

Yin-Yang
Mages in North America seem to have it all – typically from well-off families, and able to manipulate their environment in ways most of the world would never believe. They don’t even have to bother with the mundane details of life like housework, thanks to their sensitives, who also make a useful source for extra magical energy. After all, sensitives have no use for it themselves, and if mages weren’t meant to make use of it, then the sensitives would obviously have some way to prevent that. That a mage can transform a sensitive physically, with no restrictions beyond overall mass and basic biological viability, whereas magic tends not to work directly on any other living thing, is only further proof. And look at the way they live on their own, barely a step above animals. It’s better for them to belong to a mage. Sensitives in North America live on the edge of society and survival – typically so paranoid they avoid hospitals and anything else that could lead to being tracked, many of them with little or no education and no legal identity or existence. Mages exist, and mages want sensitives for some reason, but no one ever comes back to explain what that reason is. Waiting every day for the hunters to notice them doesn’t lead to much motivation or hope for the future. And once they’re captured, they’re the property of someone with a terrifying amount of power over them. Anything is better than capture. Mages are born to be the masters, and sensitives are born victims. Or are they? Jax’s life is turned upside-down when he’s caught by the hunters and sold to a mage. Andreas is still mourning for his previous sensitive, though, unconsciously creating a difficult standard for Jax to live up to, all the more so while still struggling to come to terms with this new reality as Andreas’ sensitive. A runaway sensitive isn’t what Van expects at the mental health centre. Is this a hunter trap, set for him and the rest of the Donovan family by the hunters? The hunters would, after all, love to see them cross the line openly and finally do something they can be charged with. Either way, Miranda’s genuinely in trouble, and he can’t just abandon her to it. Snatching a sensitive out from under the hunters and hiding her is odd behaviour for a mage – but then, Catherine is an odd mage, living in disgrace in the old servants’ quarters of her grandmother’s house, responsible for cooking and housework. Lila owes Catherine her freedom; is there a way to help Catherine achieve her own, and at what price? Tension is building between traditionally-minded mages and those advocating change, and something has to break. *** Yin-Yang includes a small amount of profanity and no graphic sex or on-screen physical violence. However, sex and gender roles and relationships within the mage/sensitive subculture are non-traditional in mainstream North American terms. The key criterion in a primary relationship is not relative sex or gender, but the pairing of mage and sensitive; given the transformation of sensitives by their mages, physical sex is non-absolute for a sensitive, and gender identity can vary as in anyone else. *** *** The way mages treat sensitives is extremely varied and, in some cases is outright abusive. The struggle against that is pretty much the point of the book. It is NOT grimdark or misery-porn! However, if you will be triggered by this, please, don't read Yin-Yang! *** Complete stand-alone novel, 153K words! Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.

Gods of Arkanoth
The hunter has been betrayed, left alone in the streets of a lugubrious district. Only one goal appears in his eyes: to avenge himself. In his quest to avenge himself, he'll encounter an enigmatic scientist who seems to hide his true nature, a savior pretending to be a God, and the terrible truth of those words, bringing him against something he'd never thought he'd have to affront. This is the odyssey of the hunter, in a quest to put a long overdue end to a war between two worlds. // What to expect:The beginning will surely be intriguing, most of what's happeing won't be directly explained, although there will be some hints about their true roles, but do not worry about some subjects never leaving that misty fog that is unanswered questions! The novel is divided in two parts, the first focusing on uncovering the well-hidden secrets the city of Arkanoth hides, be it concerning its making or its inhabitants. As for the second part, it will be an expedition into the unknown, we could, in a way, say the true start of the journey our three heroes will undertake! I won't say anything more about the second part or else I might tell you an important detail without realizing... As for magic, because yes, there is magic! Although you might not see the shadow of a spell in the first chapters, it will appear in later chapters and will be one of the main subjects of volume 2. There are three heroes, yes, but they will not appear directly. While the first two protagonists appear in quite the beginning, the third will take his time, taking some stroll in the Districts of Arkanoth while we focus on the story of the hunter. But that does not lessen his importance in the story a bit, trust me. What about these three heroes, you say? Well, they all have their own issues, from their character to their torments, and as the story progresses they will have to come clean with their past (character development is to be expected) and will find their reason for fighting, braving all odds. I draw my inspiration from mythology, more precisely Aztec mythology. I want to stay true to a certain extent about it and all the relations between the gods and their role, however I will still change some things to my liking, so do not expect for all of the mythology to be respected to the letter. Finally! I have to say English is a foreign langage for me, so I might not choose the best words or straight-up miswrite something, if it bothers your experience, just tell me in the comments and I'll look into it! It is also my first time writing a book, so some parts might seem sloppy, but I hope I will be able to improve throughout this journey so as to give the most enjoyable reading experience to you. // Who might enjoy this story: Firstly, if you like deep lore and stories in which past plays a big role, you will like how everything unravels to show the hidden truths of the world. However if you do not appreciate not instantly understanding what's happening or who - or even what - this person might be, then you might not appreciate the story. There will be disturbing and gore descriptions, so if you're sensitive, don't like reading about someone being beheaded and such, you should probably pass this one. There is strong langage, although I won't abuse it, I won't be lying saying no insults will appear. Finally, the heroes will not always win, they will sometime lose battles, be it important ones or unimportant, and they will, most of the time, not come out unscathed from those. // Time Schedule : once every two sundays at 7:pm Ps : feel free to tell me if something is bad, or feel wrong with the book, it really helps me. I've written till' chapter 4 (in my mother tongue, so I'll still have to translate), however I'll make some minor and major changes, thus it will take some time to post them. Schedule will probably not change after releasing chapter 4, so don't worry, it won't take even longer to post a chapter than it already is. Enjoy the ride :)
