My eyes adjusted to the light and I got up and looked out the window. Another pebble hit my window. Standing under my window was Austin.

He put his finger to his lip motioning for me to be quiet. I tip-toed downstairs and carefully opened the front door. Austin was walking around from the side of the house and we met in the middle.

"Austin what are you doing here?"

"The truth is I couldn't stop thinking about you. Ever since I met you today you've been on my mind."

"Really?"

"Yeah I think we should hang out a lot more."

"I agree! Except I don't live here I'm just visiting my Nonna for a week."

"Oh I see...... Can we still hang while your here?"

"Of course! Look I've gotta go before someone wakes up and notices I'm gone but I'll text you and see you soon. Bye!"

"Okay bye!"

He left while I quietly crept back inside and into my bed. Ariana was still in a deep sleep next to me.

I walked down into the kitchen and saw Nonna, Ari and Joan waiting for me with anxious but excited smiles on their faces.

"What are you all so happy about?" I asked as I sat down at the table.

Ariana started to speak.

"Well on Thursday night there's going to be a beach party down at the beach we were at yesterday and the people running have asked me to perform!"

"That's great!!!"

"Not only that but they also asked you to sing with me!"

I screamed and hugged Ari.

"I CAN'T WAIT! What songs will we do?"

"I was thinking My Everything, The Way and HoneyMoon Avenue?"

"Sounds fantastic!"

After breakfast Bella and I went down to a hall that had been reserved for us to practise. When we got there I gave Bella a quick singing lesson to help her voice throughout some of the songs.

We started with HoneyMoon avenue and went through it multiple times to perfect it.

"Ari are we done?"

"Yes, do you have somewhere to be?"

"I kind of promised Austin I would meet up with him today"

"Oooooo I see someone has found a new friend"

Bella rolled her eyes and we packed up and left.

"Where am I dropping you off?"

"The beach"

"Kay and text me what time you want me to pick you up"

"Kk"

Bella got out of the car and I drove back home.

I walked down onto the sand and texted Austin.

Bella: Are you here yet?

Austin: Yeah where are you?

Bella: I'm near the lifeguard surfboards.

I saw Austin wave at me and I smiled and waved back. My hands to shake and I don't know why. I was a bit nervous but I knew everything would go okay, right?

"Hey Bella!"

"Hey Austin how have you been?"

"Since last night when I saw you? Pretty good haha"

"Want to go in the water?" I questioned.

"Sure!"

We both went into the water and started splashing each and laughing.

"Ahh stop it!" I giggled playfully.

"Never!"

After an hour we got out and most people had gone home. I started to dry myself off with a towel than looked at my phone. It was nearly 6! I quickly messaged Ariana and asked her to pick me up.

"I'm so sorry but I have to be home by at least 6:15 and it's 6 now so I'm gonna have to go but I'll text you! I had alot of fun this afternoon."

"Me too. See you later!"

I waved goodbye to Austin and saw Arianas car pull up. I got in and she gave me puppy dog eyes as in to tell her what happened.

"Sooooo tell me everything that happened!"

"Mum I don't like him we're just friends!"

"I still want to know what happened"

"We talked and went in the water for a bit. I had heaps of fun!"

"It sounds fun! I'm glad you had a good time."

I could see Ariana smiling from the corner of my eye.

"Are you excited to perform tomorrow?" Ari asked me.

"Yes!!! I'm sooo excited, I can't wait!"

Ariana stopped the car and we got out and went inside.

Everyone finished dinner and I was tired so I went to bed straight away and fell asleep.

*The next day*

"Get up! We have rehearsals!"

Ariana was begging for me to wake up and after a couple of minutes I finally managed to get out of bed. I had a quick shower and got ready than Ari and I left.

"So we're going to start with The Way than My Everything and for the finale HoneyMoon Avenue."

"Okay but what are we going to wear?"

"White dresses with white heels."

"Ooo it sounds pretty!"

We arrived at the beach and the stage was just finishing been set up. Arianas and I's names were called and we headed up on the stage.

The rehearsal went on for 2 hours and by the end of it I was so excited to perform for real! I walked off the stage and Austin was down at the side waiting for me.

"Hey! My dad is helping with the audio stuff tonight so I decided to come see you while he was doing that."

"Great! How did our songs sound?"

Before Austin answered he grabbed my head and put his lips on mine. I pulled my head away shocked. But why? I questioned myself.
