"Here."
The redhead butler said as he handed the blunet a bag filled with frozen bluish-green liquid with a metal circle inside. The pale man slowly looked up from his hands and carefully grabbed the heart-shaped bag.
"Thank you Kagami-kun." He said after placing the bag on his bruised hand.
He may or may not have let his anger out to the man who drugged the redhead.
He sighed inaudibly, it's been a few hours probably close to midnight right about now and he wasn't much bothered on how late it was. If anything, he just wanted to see Akashi.
And badly did he needed to.
The man who drugged the redhead was another CEO who had lusted after Akashi over two years now. He wanted to punch the man again for two things.
Drugged him.
And Ruined his surprise visit.
He shifted the bag a little when he felt that it was starting to melt. After he punched the guy-much to his surprise, He immediately called help when Akashi wasn't responding.
The trip to the hospital was filled with tension of worry and Kuroko could help but fidget every few seconds as it pass. When the drug was finally out of the redhead's system the doctor told Kuroko that he should stay because the drug the other CEO used caused an allergic reaction that lead the blunet waiting outside and eventually the father and Kagami came a little after the drug was out of his system.
"Kuroko you should eat, I can hear you stomach growling." And in cue the rumbling sound of his stomach gave him away. He immediately hid his middle with his arms and made a small frown.
"I'm not hungry." He said convincingly to himself than his friend. Kagami rolled his eyes at his stubborness and placed his large hand on the blunet's head that fitted well.
"Stand up idiot and will get you something to eat. I'll tell Akashi-sama that we're going to the 24-hour shop across from here." and with that he forcefully pulled the blunet to his full height and dragged him to the room.
"Come in." The deep voice of the master said a little after the redhead had knocked on his door. They both went in and Kuroko by instant, he looked away.
He doesn't what to see him, not yet though as he tried his not too look at his way. The older Akashi noticed quickly of the man's akwardness and gave Kagami extra money in case it wasn't enough, telling him that he can stay with the blunet since the older Akashi will be going tomorrow on a visit.
Kagami said goodbye and the blunet just simply nodded his head as they make their way out of the hospital. Kuroko bit his lip, as he risked a glance at the sleeping state of the redhead.

"Ugh Kuroko don't pick your food..." Kagami said, a bit disappointed when the man across from him, was just playing with his curry rice. The only thing he felt a bit satisfied was when Kuroko finished drinking three vanila milkshakes and he was on his fourth drink of the night or was it morning?
"I know you're worried about Akashi but please help yourself first." Somehow throught his little sentence, the blunet's phone was ringing and he didn't hear what was the redhead saying. "Hello?" "K-kuroko-kun! I-I'm sorry!" 'Kurosaki-san?'.
"I-I'm sorry to what happened to Akashi-nii-san! I'm in the hospital right now...I-Miki-chan came with me, He wanted to see you..." She said as the blunet heard a few shuffling sounds and he heard the familiar whine of his son. "Put Mikio on the phone." He said as he raised his hand at the man across from him that he really need to take the call.
Kagami nodded his head and jerked his thumb outside, like he was telling Kuroko that he should go. With another grateful nod, the blunet was now outside a small smile as he whispered sweet nothings to the child and in return he heard his innocent giggles and hums of approval.
"Mikio, please give it top Kurosaki-san." He said after some time, he looked at his phone to see it was now 4:11 a.m., seven hours and he hadn't slept yet. He let out a sigh, he could always sleep later in the day.
"Hello Mikio." Kuroko whispered meekly to his son who nuzzled his head to his father's stomach. He just turned nine a few months ago and Kuroko send him a letter and a few fable books that he loved to read but he couldn't afford because the grandmother used the money for his tuition and bills.
"Where's Kurosaki-san?" The brunet pointed at the hostess who was talking to one of the doctors and Kuroko knew him from somewhere but somehow he couldn't where he had seen him. When the doctor turned, the raven-haired gave a happy grin when he saw the blunet and the redhead butler a little few meters away, "KUROKO!"
Now he remembered.
It was Takao. And before he knew it he was engulfed in a warm hug. "It's been a long time! How are you?!" The doctor asked cheerily and glanced at the brunet boy who was tilting his head in confusion.
"AND WHO IS THIS ADORABLE LITTLE THING?!" Kuroko let out a big sigh of relief and rubbed his nape as he glanced at the raven-haired hugging his son, who was struggling to get away. "Takao, You're suffocating the boy." Another voice said and all three men looked to the direction of the voice.

"You're so mean Shin-chan!" Takao sticked his tongue out and ruffled the boy's lock before walking to the green-haired's side. "I'm not mean, you could clearly see that the boy doesn't like to be hugged." Midorima rolled his eyes as he gestured the boy with his unoccupied hand since the other was holding the chart.
"Hmp!" The raven-haired walked away, but not before smiling at the people as he did. "So how's Akashi?" Kagami felt the need to asked as he saw the whole thing silently.
"He's alright now. Stabled and free from the drug, although he should be awake right about now. i don't know why he hasn't wake up yet." He pushed his glasses up when he felt it was moving downwards. "That's the stress probably, Akashi-nii-san was overworking himself again because of the orphanage that was opening soon." Kurosaki spoke as she fiddled with the stray string on her wrinkled shirt, not bothering make eye-contact.
"I see, Well if you're going to stay in the hospitable then use that room if one of you wants to sleep." Midorima said before pointing at the door that was next to the redhead's room. All of them nodded except for the brunet, who just kept tugging on his father's clothes.
"Yes Mikio?" The blunet asked as he looked down at his son. He pointed at the redhead's door as well as tugging him to follow.
Kuroko didn't hesitate as he opened the door and bit his lip too hard that almost made it bleed. "Morning Tetsuya."
"You're an Idiot." Kuroko was never one to say hateful things but it felt right at this time. The redhead raised his eyebrow in slight surprise, "I'm a wha-"
"YOU'RE SUCH AN IDIOT!" He said loudly as he felt his son moving away from him and walked to the side of Akashi's bed. The brunet cleared his throat and produced a small thin square gift that he had in his pocket.
Kuroko walked up to the two as Akashi carefully unwrapped the gift. he already knew it was card or photo inside and he was right at the latter.
'Happy Birthday!'
It was a photo of the redhead and his father on their first date. The blunet on Akashi's lap as they both smiled in the camera, well the redhead smile since Kuroko's smile was barely seen in the photo.
Akashi gave him a grateful smile, "Thank you Mikio. So Tetsuya where's my gift?" He turned to see Kuroko's hand over his eyes and his face was looking up. "I-It's in your office." He said gently, Almost taking it as a whisper.
"Tetsuya come here." He picked through his fingers, to see the redhead patting the space that had no presence. Kuroko walked to the other side and sat on the unoccupied space. "So-"
"Heart broken over nothing eh?" Kagami asked while rubbing his nape. The two of them were seating at the benches across from the room. "It's so common, I'm becoming pathetic." The black-haired said as she wrapped her arms around herself and shrugged.
"Not Pathetic enough." The hostess shoot him a glare and the redhead raised his hands in surrender. "What's that suppose to mean?" "figure it out." Kurosaki let out a growl.
"I almost call the pet patrol over that." Kagami joked as he cautiously scooted away from the woman. "I should probably go...I have worked tomorrow or a few hours from now." She mumbled the last part as she stood up and waved the redhead as she walked to Akashi's room.
"I'm going home n-" She stopped and let out a shrill.
She never expected this one to happen.
In her guesses it should be after but somehow the redhead made the move too quickly.
Mikio was sitting on the chair that was across from them, sleeping as he hugged a pillow. On the bed was Kuroko straddling Akashi while they kissed too passionately.
By the sound of her shrieked. Kuroko pulled away and paled than usual as he rolled out of Akashi and covered himself with the blankets, The redhead had a disapprove look.
"You're early."
"And You're too desperate!"
"Says the hopeless romantic."
"Says the guy with a bulge!"
"It's Tetsuya's phone."
"Argh! Kuroko-kun!" The hostess let out another growl only more demonic than the one she made earlier. Kuroko peeked from under the blankets, his face flushed and his hair in a messy state, more messy than Kurosaki's hair.
"Y-yes." He said crookedly. "See you tomorrow." And with that she left not before punching an amused redhead butler who followed her out and went home as well.
"Shall we conti-" "Good night Akashi-kun." The blunet said sternly as he switched off the light and closed the door before quickly standing up. He wrapped his arms around the brunet boy and told the redhead to scoot a bit for some space.
"Night Tetsuya." Akashi said as he kissed the now sleeping blunet, his right arm around his son and the other intertwined to the redhead's hand. "Night Mikio." He did the same to his soon-to-be son.
It was his favorite birthday gift he had ever had.

Following a shocking attack and a cruel deception, Dorothea grows her conscience and takes up arms, using her self-destructive ability to manipulate the flow of time to ensure Sacer’s victory. Meanwhile, Dorothea’s only friend and deserter from the Sacerian military, Shark Olyen, returns to their homeland to face the family that disowned them and finds more than they bargained for in meeting Cerid Creed, a noble whose duty to his people clashes with his desires in romance and in life, much like Shark’s did long before. As their developing or preexisting loves and differing convictions on how to achieve peace create rifts between these major players, Dorothea experiences a personal revolution that leads her to fight for what she believes is right, no matter the cost.
