《Secret Admire (ON HOLD, SORRY)》Spring (Chapt.1)

It's the beginning of spring in New York. My favorite season of all. It's a time where the sun brightens the plants, when the bees hunt the pollen in the colorful garden while smelling the flowers as they all become one crowd dancing in the windy air. I'm one month away of my new life in Japan, since my parents were stationed to collaborate with another fashion editor named Shin Takahashi. He's known for one of his latest designs called the Fiery Kimono with 3D sprinkles that bolts through your eyes.
Since they met up last week, my parents had a difficult time finding me a school to attend, Shins only son, Makoto is enrolled in a rich private school, so last night they found out that there was room for me to go. And now that we have the rest settled, now we just have to finish packing while I have one week ahead of me to graduate 12th grade and head to high school.
At school my name is Hanako Matsumoto. An honor student that have a special talent in art since first grade and also a black belt in martial arts. At school you can call me the quiet girl with no friends that always wears headphones every time she walks through the halls. That sit at the back of the class next to the window that shimmers on her dark black hair in all her classes.
To be honest, I don't care if everyone at school hates me, besides I didn't enter this world to entertain everyone I see. When I open the doors to get in or outside, students would stop and stare at me. Overall, I just let it slide.
When I got back home, I was surprised to see mom and dad home but not surprised that when they're home they move one room to another while having their phones ring like crazy. It's like there was no end to ring tone. Today was the promotion day, and I didn't want to go because I thought that it was pretty pointless since my parents couldn't make it and the fact that I had no friends to celebrate.

Since I decided not to go, I thought that I would go out by myself at my favorite bakery called "Sweet Petals" that is right across my apartment. I would normally order nothing else but my favorite cupcake with a Japanese original sweet red rose frosting with my favorite fruit on the side, strawberries.
Next off is to the Central Park. Since New York is pretty loud because of traffic, I would go farther where the roses that have the color of pure blood are at.
This is nothing new, I do this every time I find the weather nice and warm yet a bit windy. So I pulled out my 20th sketchbook and drew a beautiful sight I have between a butterfly landing between three tall roses.
While drawing the view, I was also curious of how my new life in Japan would be. I ask myself if I would make new friends or have more quality time with my parents, or would it be the same with the life I live in here in New York. It's been one and a half week and it's almost time to say good bye to my old home. I just hope that my new life would start off fresh in Japan.

The Choice is Not Yours
Author's Note: (As of November 20, 2021) I rewrote all the chapters perhaps more than a year ago, but haven't announced that I did so. Because that kind of announcement would include something along the lines of, "I'm working on the story so expect new chapters!" But the truth is, I lack motivation to do anything. And I would hate myself if I broke a promise. I'm extremely sorry if you have been patiently waiting for uploads. These days, I've been studying, not well, but studying somewhat. I will definitely bring more to show, with regular uploads. If not this story then there's another story I've been writing that's really exciting to me. It's not exactly similar to this story since it has a male lead and he is a baneful asshole with even less morals. I hope you'll like it when it comes to existence. And I'll leave my announcement off with the aforementioned promise. Meet Amber, a tomboyish, unstable, and cheeky lass who likes to keep to herself. According to her, she'll live the rest of her life on auto-pilot mode, awhile holding onto the few things that make her remotely happy. However, she forgot that people never really leave you alone, be it humans or even the Gods. And exactly that happens, ending her monotonous life on such the Gods' whim. But at what cost to her? Will she be able to hold onto the things she holds dear? Or will she fail miserably and lose herself in the process? That's what the Gods want to know. Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo.Warning: If you are easily triggered, I am not writing this novel for you.
