It's been a month since I meet Melo, Gelo and the team.
We were all really close . Me and Melo FaceTime and text till we fall asleep and Me and Gelo call each other best friend.
Basketball tryouts are in two weeks and soccer tryouts are in 3 weeks.
"Kaylee to the office please Kaylee Williams to the office."
It's only been 5 minutes since I've been in the building so I haven't done nothing bad yet.
"Kaylee you just stepped in the damn building how you already in trouble." This girl named Mary said.
"I'm asking myself the same question yo."
On my way to the office I pass non other than Melo Gelo and Eli and basically the whole team.
"Why y'all always together like ion never see non of y'all alone." I said walking up to them.
"It's cause we're a team. We love each other." Eli said hugging the person next to him.
"Got off me Eli." O said pushing Eli's head .
"No love me bro." Eli said still hugging him.
"Why you got call to the office?" Gelo said.
What I've learned about LiAngelo is that he is actually really quiet. He doesn't really want all that attention. He's usually in the back of the group or somewhere in the middle. He also doesn't smile often.
LaMelo is loud when he's around friends but once you get him around people he doesn't know he gets chill and quiet.
"Well hello best friend at least sound a lil bit happy to see me. Will you smile today?" I joked.
"We'll see." He said. He gave me a closed mouth smile.
"No stupid you gotta show teeth, braces and all."
"That might not happen today but who knows." He said shaking his head.
"Well I gots to go . I'll catch y'all later."
"Bye Kaylee." Eli said when I was half way down the hallway.
I take a left and walk into the office. " Hey you needed me?"
"Yes we just wanted to give you your new schedule since you signed up college classes for next year we gave you an advanced senior class for math and honors English." The office lady said printing out my schedule. "You also have ap geography with sophomores and biology."
Wow. That's a lot of classes which mean a lot of homework. Wait when did I sign up for college classes.
Where will I find the time to do all of this.
"You may return to class but tomorrow you start your advanced and Ap classes."
"Excuses me miss but I can seem to remember when I signed up for these classes." I said pretend to be interested.

"Um you side up for college classes in." She paused looking at her computer. "The week before school started."
"Okay thanks."
The bell rung for lunch and I headed to the lunch room.
I was mad as fuck cause my momma signed me up for advanced classes for higher grades when I was already in advanced classes in my grade.
I understand she wants a better life for me but damn ma I don't want to be a doctor. I'm tryna play sports.
She hates that I play sports. She's just so ...ugh.
I walk in the lunch room and I sit in my regular stop.
"Hey Kay-" Eli said and trailed off after he saw my face.
"What you mad for?" Melo asked pulling my chair closer to his.
"My mom."
"What about her?"
"She said signed me up to take college class next year. But they giving me all advanced and AP classes this year."
"I don't see the problem." He said
I sat up in my chair dramatically.
"I have to take advanced math with seniors, AP English with seniors . I have to take World History and chemistry with sophomores." I raise my voice.
"I don't have time to do the homework for my 9th grade advanced classes now I'm doing tenth eleventh and twelfth grade classes. What the fuck."
"Okay imma need you to calm down. You'll get threw this. And if you need help we got you." Melo said. "Well they got you cause they took all of this stuff."
"I hate you." I say laughing.
"Hey Kaylee!" Eli said. He was waiting for me to not be mad so I wouldn't snap on him.
Smart boy.
"Best friend you should come to the house after school." Gelo said giving me a hug.
"Aight. I have homework though." I said trying to see what time I should go to they house.
"You good. We do our homework as soon as we get home so we can all do it together."
"Kaylee!" I turn around to see Metri running in.
I haven't seen her all morning. She was late to school and we have many classes together.
"Oh my god guess what." She pauses to take a breath. " I gotta." Pause. "A on" pause. "My math.... test."
"Of course you did. I helped you study." I say flipping my braids.
"Whatever. Lemme have my moment." She said sitting down.
She had on a Lonzo ball Ucla jersey. He's obviously her favorite player. She had on black pants and all white and blue bottom 11s.
"You look cute girl. " I said checking her out.
"Yeah y'all definitely have to come to the house after school." Melo said laughing.

"I'm down. I haven't seen the ball house yet." I said.
"Y'all ready to go?" Gelo said as we approached his car.
"Only you would have a name plate that's says 'Gelo' on it." Metri said laughing.
"Aye don't hate lil bro. " he said got in his car.
Eli sat in the front I sat in the middle Melo sat to the left of me and Metri sat to the right.
"Hook up to the bluetooth Kay." Gelo said.
I hooked it up and the song that came on first was Bad by wale.
"Does ever girl like this song?" Eli said putting his head in his head. "This is all I hear girls listen to."
"Shut up Eli." Me and Metri say at the same time.
"Let's get it. Bad girl ain't no good and good girls a no fun. The hood girl want a smart nigga college girl all want a thug." I rap wale part. "I seems that we fiend for what we don't need. Gotta thing for a queen who don't wanna leave."
"Please tell me you don't know the whole song." Melo said laughing at me and Metri.
"You telling me to lie?" I joked.
I press the skip button and Kelly price by migos comes on.
"This way better." Eli said. "Always keep some bitches on the side yeah yeah. Don't stand to close my diamonds gonna bit."
We all rap the song until we pull up to the ball crib.
When I tell you big is a understatement. I'm not lying. We walk up in the front door and I'm in awe of the place.
"We home!" Melo said and we all went to the table.
"Hey boys. How was school?" A tall lady said coming from the kitchen.
"Eh. I still hate it." Gelo said looking in the fridge. "Ma where is all the food?"
"Y'all ate it all." She said laughing. "Go check the cabinets outside."
All three boys ran out side.
"Hi my name is Tina. Melo and Gelos mom." She said shaking our hands.
"I'm Kaylee and this is Metri." I said introducing us.
"Nice to meet you." Metri said as the boys came in with three bags of chips and sodas.
"I see y'all found something." I said.
"We always do. Now let's get this homework done." Melo said.
We get our book bags and go to the living room.
"Yo house big as fuck." Metri said to Melo.
"You get use to it." He replied.
I choose to sit on the floor in the corner. I take out all my books and start with English work.
"How much homework do you have Kaylee." Metri said looking at my stack of papers.
"I have to finish work from math class. I have history homework I have English and I have science homework."
"Yeah you gon be here all day." She said.
"Nah it's easy to be honest." I says laughing. "If you would stop talking I could start."
I start in my unfinished math first and knock that out on fifteen minutes since I only had 5 question.
After about two hours everyone is done with there work.
"Gelo! Melo!" A loud voice said from upstairs.
"We in the living room!" Gelo yelled back.
"When y'all got here?" A voice said coming from the stairs.
"Oh my god." Metri said from beside me.
We see Lonzo freaking Ball coming in the living room.
"Like 3 hours ago." Eli replied.
"I'm so confused." Metri said staring Lonzo down. He's looking at her like why the fuck is this chick staring at me.
"Oh my god I get it. LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball. Lonzo ball." I say putting all the pieces together. "Lonzo ball is you brother. I can't believe this. "
"Y'all are actually retarded." Gelo said.
"You just now figured this out?" LaMelo said laughing.
Metri hasn't said a word yet. She just keeps starting at Lonzo.
But I mean I understand. He's LONZO FUCKING BALL!
"Yo you have my jersey on. That's cool."
"Woah. You're like - woah." Metri said cutting herself off.
"What's she's tryna say is can she get a picture with you." I relay her message to him.
"Yeah no problem."
I push Metri up so she can go stand next to Lonzo.
In the picture I took Lonzos arm is wrapped around her shoulder and she is looking up at him and he's looking down at her.
"Thank you." She said . "Send me those pictures please.
"You wanna picture too?" He asked me.
"Yeah that would be cool."
He wanted to go outside. Because and I quote he's to dark and he can't be seen. But in reality this man is almost white.
Everyone got up and we walked outside. Of course they had a court and a big ass pool.
The balcony looked over the court and it was just really cool. They had a bar and everything.
"You ready?" I asked him.
"Yeah let's do this." He picks up a basket ball and put it under his arm.
We tools few stupid pictures and a smiling picture.
"Send me those." Lonzo said. "My number is -"
I'm actually getting Lonzo Balls number. This is crazy.

Jack, S'haar, and all their family are back. After crashing his ship on an underdeveloped world, Jack found friends and family among the terrifying cat-lizard natives of the world, but now mere survival is no longer enough. They must carve out a new home for themselves in the landscape of the now rapidly changing world. Raiders, politics, and even nature threaten their happiness and their lives while they struggle to deal with the nightmares and traumas of yesterday. They'll need to depend on each other more than ever if they hope for their new home to have any kind of future. In case you missed it, here's book one. ATTENTION: This is soft sci-fi rather than hard sci-fi, hence why I chose that tag. For those of you unfamiliar with the distinction, here's what Wikipedia had to say. 1. It explores the "soft" sciences, and especially the social sciences (for example, anthropology, sociology, or psychology), rather than engineering or the "hard" sciences (for example, physics, astronomy, or chemistry). 2. It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.
