LaMelo?
Why in the world is he calling me right now?
Should I answer? Do I just let the phone ring and not pick up?
I let out a frustrated sigh and at the last second, I answer the phone.
"Daya?" LaMelo asked.
His voice sounds kind of frustrated but there is a hint of what seems like jealousy to me.
"Yes?"
LaMelo stays silent for a moment which causes me to roll my eyes.
"Dude why call me and stay silent?"
LaMelo clears his throat before speaking.
"I'm trying to figure out how to word this without it sounding wrong..."
"Just say it!"
Once again there is another moment of silence.
"LaMelo," I huff.
"I'm sorry, I'll just say it!" LaMelo says rather loudly.
"Okay, say it!"
He stays silent again.
"Bro are you fuckin seri-"
"I don't like when you hang out with Jose!"
Is this boy really?
No way.
I'm dreaming right now right?
Like....
He's on crack if he thinks...
That he can tell me who...
I can and cannot hang out with...
I laugh at LaMelo walking towards my room and he groans.
"I'm being serious, Zendaya! You can't hang out with him!"
I stop my laughing because he has me fucked up right now.
"Don't call me Zendaya, LaMelo!" I raise my voice at him. "I can hang out with who I want,"
"Not Jose!" LaMelo replies.
"Why does it matter?" I asked confused.
"Because he obviously likes you!"
"I'm well aware that he likes me LaMelo!"
"Well- wait! What's that supposed to mean? You're well aware that he likes you?"
"It means exactly what I said,"
"DAYA!" LaMelo shouts.
I pull the phone away from my ear and then I put it back once LaMelo is done shouting my name.

"Can you not shout please, it's hurting my ears?"
"Sorry,"
"Is that all you wanted to tell me?" I asked while sitting on my bed.
"Yes," LaMelo replies. "So don't talk or hang out with him!"
"Can I have a reason as to why you don't want me talking or seeing him?"
"Because he can't have what's fucking mine!"
"Nigga, oh my-" I run my hand over my face before taking a deep breathe.
This is why I hate boys! They think they own you but nah fam that's not how this shit works!
"I am not in any way, shape, or form, yours!"
"Daya, I like you!"
"That doesn't mean that I'm yours," I pause. "I can hang out with who I want to hang out with and I can talk to Jose and any other boy for that matter!"
"Daya-" LaMelo starts but I interrupt him.
"-Good night sir," I hang up the phone in his face before taking a shower and getting ready for bed.
My phone vibrates next to me and I glance at it to see the name Jose on the screen.
I pick up my phone and open the message.
👌🏾 hey, I make it home!
Yay okay!
I'm going to head to bed rn so goodnight 💤
👌🏾 okay goodnight beautiful 💤
I smile at his message before drifting off to sleep.

The Last 100
The bustling crush of humanity had become common place now, the cacophony of voices and the symphony of a city had become the song and dance of our species. But it was not always such, and return back to our more humble roots we did.The system had come, and it had stripped us bare. Sure it had given us a means to power, but at what cost. We were the last 100 left. Night was falling on the human race, it was a dark night, and it was cold. But go quietly we would not. We would make the world burn with an inferno of our defiance. Rage, rage against that goodnight, and I Jack Casser, have rage a plenty. This is my story, the story of the last 100.Author Note: This story is a LitRPG apocalypse, woah fucking original idea I know but hear me out. If you can look past preconceived ideas driven by a stigma of overdone tropes and done to death plots of achieving world domination and self-righteous characters and give the story a chance I hope it can surprise you.

The Devil's Rain: Dark Ascension
The Devil’s Rain used to be something you would only dream of seeing in your lifetime, but over the years, a lot has changed in the world we live in. The rain first arrived about three years ago one summer, and in that same night, a very unlucky person in our town disappeared without a trace. Since then, The Devil’s Rain became something the whole world would have to recognize. Thousands across the country claimed to experience the rain, and consequently, thousands have gone missing. Joseph and his five college roommates embark on a mission to uncover the origins of the rain and hopefully put an end to it. However, they learn very quickly that the world around them is far stranger than even the rain would suggest. *This is a mystery action adventure! Details are incredibly important, so please note the important things our protagonist discover throughout. I would not recommend skipping chapters if you want a full understanding of the information.
