~Clays POV~
When we came home, the first thing we saw was Y/N, Sap and Bennet playing VR all together, and it looked like they were having fun. Y/N did manage to make some progress. (We have an extra set)
Right as they heard the door, Sap and Y/N took their sets off and waved. "Hi you guys! How was the walk?" Y/N asked, but was interrupted by her phone ringing. "Sorry, I have to take this."
"No problem dear." Mom said, and I walked over to Benny as Y/N left to my room.
"So, Brick, how's it going Y/N?" I asked.
"She's ok." He said, and I scoffed.
"So you don't hate her anymore?"
He stayed silent.
"Look at that, Brick was in the wrong as always." Drista said.
"Shut up."
We all laughed a bit.
(God this is so awkward idk how family gatherings work)
~Your POV~
"Hey mom, is everything alright?" I asked as I answered the call.
"Oh, yeah, Mason just let me into their house."
"Say what now?" I asked.
"Oh, since you weren't answering the door I just knocked on Masons to find out you're at Clays." She smiled.
I stayed silent.
"What day is it?"
"27th."
"Weren't you supposed to come on the August?"
"It is August."
Silence.
"Mom I'm so sorry I thought it was August I totally lost count shit-" I said.
"Its fine." She giggled. "What are you doing with Clay? Did I interrupt something?"
"Well- his parents also kinda came over."
"Oh! Well that's great! I would love to meet Clay and them." Mom said, sounding very excited.

"Oh- well I could ask them if they'd like to. I'll come right home, give me an hour." I said.
"Don't rush."
"Ok, yeah, right, bye love you." I said.
After she said bye I hung up and walked downstairs.
"Is everything ok?" Evelyn asked.
"Yeah uhm- I'll have to go- my mom came and I mixed up the dates, thought she was comming next month-" I said, scratching my neck. "She's at my friend's place right now, I don't want to keep her waiting."
"Wait, doesn't she live in Germany?" Clay asked.
"She does. I thought it was August but it's September and her flight was today." I said.
"Oh, how great that were here, I'd love to meet her! She sounds like a great mother." Evelyn said.
"She is. I'll be back as soon as possible."
"Take your time." Kristn said.
As I was about to leave I remembered I didn't come with my car, Clay drove me.
I sighed. "I- Don't have my car here." I said.
"I can drive you home if you'd like." Sap said.
"Oh, really? Thank you so much." I smiled.
"Ok, I'll be back in 40." Sap said, walking towards me and taking his keys from the table next to the entrance.
"Bye!" They all said.
~Clays POV~
It's been around 55 since Sap hasn't come back and Drista was in, what she called, her room (Bennet and her share), mom and dad in the guest room and me and Brick were in the living room.
"She's cheating on you, isn't she? With Sap."
I paused, and looked at Bennet with an angry expression. "What the actual fuck, Bennet? First you act like a total little asshole around her and now you say she's cheating on me with my best friend?"

He stayed quiet for a moment. "He's already 15 minutes late and they were always laughing with each other and looking at each other whilst you were gone."
"Go to your room." I said.
"You can't boss me around!" He yelled.
"Do you want me to call mom and dad? Exactly. Not go up to your room."
He stuck his tongue out and stood up, walking upstairs before yelling "You're so blind when it comes to this!"
"Says you with your 11 years of life experience!" I yelled as he went upstairs.
Not even a minute layer Sapnap entered the house and noticed something was wrong right away.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"I-" I thought about what I should say. "Bennet won't accept Y/N as my girlfriend."
"What? But they got along so well."
"He accused her of cheating on me. With you." I chuckled at the end, knowing how stupid it was.
And so did Sap. "Wow, I mean, obviously I am." He laughed with me.
"God, I know she's not cheating and stuff, but I can't get Bennet to accept her." I sighed.
Sap walked over and sat next to me. "He's scared you'll find through the same shit again."
"Yeah, he said that, but I thought things were going really well. He really is a great actor." I joked. He was in movies before, just little roles like telling the main character something or stuff, but some of the directors really praised him.
"Well, I think we'll just have to wait and see what happens." Sap said and I nodded, before going upstairs and taking a shower to calm myself.

Of Gods and Dungeons
March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. Warning: Violence, morbidity Cover: Taken from here, courtesy of www.pexels.com by photographer @tookapic. Author's Note: I've read some dungeon core stories on here, and they've tickled my fancy. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write. This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.

Lose Myself
WAS #2 in Romance. -- He's got a secret, she's got a secret. But is it the same secret? Amara Ackerman is an interior designer who just wants to live her life, she doesn't want to get married and she doesn't need a boyfriend. To her it's just better if everyone kept their distance, pulling people in was never her style. Dominic Vitiello is just the average rich, handsome guy with tons of connections and plenty of places to be. When he takes the time out to persue her, he discovers something unexpected and it's far from disappointing. The two cross paths in the most convinient way, how does their relationship go from being strictly work to strictly personal? Neither of them can say, but I can say it's a pretty interesting story.
