Chanel POV

Me and melo are walking around the neighborhood headed to his house he's talking my ear off but I wasn't listening. I was worried maybe because it was my first time seeing his family after this whole situation or even talking about it but something in me was definitely nervous. We make it to the house he tightened his grip on my hand and said

"You ready you don't have to if you don't wanna."

" No I wanna do this and I'm sure it's gonna work out fine"

"Okay" he looked at me and smiled

When we walked in I saw a bunch of cameras but could hear the family in the back. Well mostly lavar 😭😭 but melo takes me as soon as he figures out where they were. He opens the sliding door wide so we can both fit through and I hear lavar say

"Hey melo hey chanel come over here real quick"

We walk over and melo says

"Wassupp"

"Hey pops" I say every time I see him

"First off all good morning this might be overwhelming for both of y'all not being able to have privacy like normal teenagers but you guys aren't really a normal couple to be honest"

"Facts" me and melo say at the exact time

"See" he says as we giggle

" But son I'm going to need to talk to chanel for a min alone cuz Courtney needs to interview you"

Melo looks confused but gets up and goes inside

I sat in the chair while bushings my hair while Courtney got her questions ready

"Are Are you and chanel Fanum dating?"

"Huh" I say sarcastically

"Are you dating chanel"

"I don't know what your talking about Courtney" I say

"Melo you are legit going viral as we speak because you were outside a party with her"

"No comment"I run out

Lavar sighs and says "Now Chanel I really do like you as a kid out of anyone Lamelo coulda brought home I'm glad it's you I trust you I know you just aren't here for this and that" I shake my head and Agree

"Yeah I get what you saying you want the best for him"

"Exactly but I don't really think this is the time for melo to you know be in a relationship".
