I sat in my room thinking about all the memories me and chanel had. My point of view never changed about her. I just don't understand it felt like our relationship was perfect I just gave her a promise ring I thought that should show a lot but if that wasn't enough I bought a car that was hella expensive.

I'm not even upset she did this but I'm confused she kept saying this was for me. I went out side to cope with pain the only way I knew how I pulled the hoop out the garage and started playing on the side walk.

I heard a basketball dribbling on the sidewalk behind me and saw a basketball make it in a hoop I turned around and saw Jaylen

"What are you doing here" I said unfazed

"Playin basketball what else"

"Yeah tell her if she needs someone to talk to she could come to me" I suggested

"Okay we'll she told me to give you this" he handed me a bag

I looked through it and saw the chain, chanel necklace, Tesla keys, earrings, and a drive to plug in my computer and a note

"I'm sorry for taking things out on you. You don't deserve this but I have to find happiness in myself before I could love someone else. Even though I am really greatfull for these gifts it would be wrong to keep them."

I looked for her promise ring but I figured she had it which gave me hope.
