The last few months had been amazing for me and Lamelo's relationship. It was the best it's ever been in a long time. But which was even better was senior year was ending and I couldn't be more happier I still hadn't decided if I wanted to only keep rapping in my life or going to some college so I could be a physical therapist which had always been my dream.

But then the bell rung and I was on my way home I checked my mailbox like every day. Waiting for a specific acceptance letter. I got multiple full ride scholarships and everything but it didn't matter if I didn't get an acceptance letter from a hbcu then I wasn't going. I know that sounds ungrateful but I've always felt that way. But today was different I got four letters from hbcu's I flipped threw them to see Southern University, Xavier University, Florida A&M and Tennessee State I stood there in disbelief all my dreams colleges in one pile.

"Lamelo what happens if I don't make it like I've been wanting this my whole life" I said sitting on my bed as he sat right in front of me

"C your the smarties girl I know these schools would be lucky to have you I mean and your like the best volleyball player ever"he said

"Your right" I said and grabbed my first pick college Xavier my dream school since a kid

I ripped the envelope and was about to pull out the letter

"I can't do it you do it" I said shoving the paper in his hand

"Umm okay" he say's taking the letter

"You're taking to long give it to me" I said grabbing it from him

"Calm down C" he said laughing

I opened it and read

"Welcome to Xavier University of Louisiana you have been accepted" I said quietly as melo did a dramatic gasp but I didn't have a reaction

"Aren't you happy baby"he asked I finally looked up from my paper

"I mean of course but it's just like my mind is filled with so many things like what happens if I don't like college, or it was a waste of time or I can't see you anymore" I said looking at him as he grabbed my hands

"Chanel since the day I met you you're dream was always to go to this college major in health science and become an physical therapist and that was before all the fame and everything"
