《Bakugou's Lover》Chapter Two: An Out of Bed Mystery

Bakugou could feel the heat of the sun on his face as he stirred. His hands ran over the silk sheets he was laying on. Bakugou felt confused. He didn’t own any silk. He hesitantly opened his eyes and looked around the room he was in. He shot up when he didn’t recognize it. The room was large and had dark maroon wallpaper.
The king sized bed had white silk sheets and dark red covers. The pillows were a pale color red and almost everywhere on the bed.
He tried to recall the events of the past night to come up blank. As he was looking around the room he spotted a TV. Hopefully someone reported his disappearance. He walked over to it and turned it on. The news was playing and it talked about a shooting at the bar that him and his friends were talking about going to. Again he tried to recall the events of the day prior. All he remembers is giving flowers to his normal customers on valentine's day.
“And now the disappearance of a man, the name of Katsuki Bakugou.” Bakugou turned his head back to the TV and saw his picture on the news. “Last night at a shooting of the club called “The Dumping Grounds” a man named Katsuki Bakugou went missing. People say that the people that caused the shooting most likely kidnapped the poor man.”
Bakugou mouth was agape. He was kidnapped? Of course he was, he doesn’t know where he is. “We come to you with a couple of his friends that were there that night.”
Bakugou watched as his friends were crying on Tv as they talked about what happened. “We were just dancing when he asked to go to the bathroom. I should have when with him. It’s all my fault.” Uraraka cried and Mina and Jiro hugged her.
Hanta took over after that. “After he left the bathroom a few other people started going to the bathroom. I’m the only one that noticed because I wasn't as drunk as everyone else. The shooters actually came from the area of the bathroom. We found his phone in one of the stalls unlocked and on the dial screen but we think they got to him before he could call anyone.” He finished as Denki hugged him. In the background you could see Tokoyami and Shinso talking to the police about the incident.

“Do any of you guys remember seeing anyone suspicious? And one that kinda looked out of place?” They all thought for a second before Uraraka spoke up. “Some green haired man. He bought Bakugou a drink before he went missing.” Mina clapped her hands. “I remember seeing him on the dance floor. I thought he was staring at you, but I guess he was staring at Bakugou.”
“You heard it here folks, if you see this man here,” There was a picture of Bakugou at the mall posing with Denki and Mina, “Contact the police. Now next on the news…” Bakugou stopped listening after that. The memories of the night coming back to him. What was he suppose to do now? There was nothing that he could do.
Just then he heard the door open to the room he was in. “Sir? There you are. I’m here to take you down stairs, the bosses would like to see you.” There was a woman with long black hair standing by the door. She was tall and really pretty. Bakugou stood from where he was sitting in front of the Tv and walked over to her.
“Where are we?” He asked as they walked down an impressive hall. “I am not allowed to say, just know that you are safe here.” She smiled at him. Of course she might think he’s safe here but he doesn’t. He doesn’t know who any of these people are. She could be leading him to his death here.
Once they reached the bottom of the stairs he was met with a huge fireplace and a vase with a single flower in it. A dahlia. It means mystery. Whoever kidnapped him knows a lot about him.
“Hello, Katsuki.” Bakugou turned his head towards the voice. Three men stood by the, what he can guess, living room door. Bakugou didn’t answer them so they continued towards him. “I don’t know if you remember me or not but I bought you that drink last night.” He said taking wider steps.

Bakugou continued to not answer as he walked backwards farther away from the men walking closer to him. Bakugou felt his back hit the wall behind him. That gave the others a chance to close in on him. Bakugou couldn’t see an exit as they were blocking every way he could go.
“Katsuki. My name is Izuku Midoriya. And these are my friends Eijiro Kirishima and Shoto Todoroki.” Bakugou’s eyes widened at the name Todoroki. ‘So he’s one of Endever’s sons.’ Bakugou thought as he kept a close watch on each one of the men in front of him. Mostly the Todoroki. When he looked at Kirishima he noticed that he had a hand behind his back.
Kirishima had noticed that he was being stared at and nervously laughed. He held out a bouquet of white orchids, white lilies, and moonflowers. Bakugou’s eyes immediately softened when he saw them. They were expensive flowers. He had only got a bouquet of them a few years ago.
“Here.” He held the flowers out closer to Bakugou. Bakugou was hesitant but he carefully took the flowers from him and held them closer to his chest. The flowers were even prettier up close. He kept a close eye on the three while inspecting the flowers. “Do you like them? If you don’t I will get you more.” Bakugou stared at the red haired one. His hair was spiked up unlike his which spiked everywhere. Bakugou stared at them before shaking his head.
“...pretty.” He spoke under his breath. The men’s eyes widened as they heard him speak. It looked like they wanted him to repeat it but they didn’t want to ask him. He turned his full attention to the flowers as he slid down the wall, sitting against it. He didn’t know how to describe the smell of them. If pretty was a smell it would smell like that.
Bakugou smiled at the flowers. He always had a soft spot for flowers and all things delicate. The three wanted to coo so badly but restrained themselves. They backed up from where they cornered him and sat on one of the couches. “Katsuki. You can come sit with us.”
Kirishima spoke as he patted on the space next to him. Bakugou looked at him for a second before pushing himself off the wall. He made slow steps towards them still lightly clutching the flowers to his chest. He sat in one of the chairs closer to Kirishima.
To Bakugou he’s the only one he doesn’t have a grudge against. Midoriya was the one that drugged him or paid the barkeep to drug him. And Todoroki was a damn Todoroki. He stared at them as they sat there staring right back at him. “Katsuki. I’m sure you’re pretty confused about why you’re here.” He said, smiling. Bakugou wanted to smack that smile off his face. He didn’t do anything to any of these guys.
“Bakugou, we would like to court you.” Todoroki said, having a solid expression.
Court? Did he mean date? They wanna date me? “So you kidnapped me...so you can date me?” “Precisely.” Midoriya hit him on the back of the head. Bakugou could feel his blood boil. He used to have major anger issues but after highschool he started going to anger management classes and that helped him a lot, but right now that’s all going down the drain. But he took a breath to collect himself. “...and if I say no?” Everyone went quiet for a second.
“Then we’ll keep you here until you do.”

The Shadows Become Her
A fantasy progression, a coming of age story, and a tale of revenge... Alvixia "Vix" Altorelli's idyllic childhood is disrupted in one tragic night when the duke's fanatics ransack the Altorelli home and imprison the rest of her family, selling them into slavery across the ocean. Vix soon finds herself fleeing for her life and her freedom, fleeing to the faraway city of Floria on an island ruled by the mysterious Nurass, Prince of Shadows. In Floria, Vix's sharp mind and talent for magic land her a spot at the Perdita Free Collegium, the world's greatest school for spies, saboteurs, swashbucklers, seductresses and, some claim, practitioners of dark magic... and that suits Vix just fine. If the Collegium wants to give Vix the tools she needs to save her family and get her revenge on Duke Orso, she'll take that deal any day of the week and twice on Saintsdays, even if that means making a deal with the Prince of Shadows himself. This is Vix's tale. Author's Note: Now that Writathon 2022 is over, updates will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays!

Back on Earth, Millie McArthur is a pregnant out-of-work mechanic struggling with the prospect of moving back in with her parents after leaving her unfaithful fiancé. That is until she finds herself just one of the hundreds that have been shanghaied by the callous artificial constructs still manning the ruins of Magincia.
