《Mama Nootmare (A fanfic with the bad sanses)》Chapter 7 - Cross (Part 2)

Dust POV:
Nightmare and I had spent the remaining night planning. We had one by the time 7:00 am rolled around. After we woke everyone up and ate breakfast, we told them. Killer and Horror weren't too enthusiastic.
"So what?" Killer said "If he was Ink's friend he was probably happy when Ink took him."
"He wasn't." Nightmare said "He started yelling when Ink took him. And he was about to accept."
"Do we need another kid here?" Horror asked "You've got us three."
I glared at Horror. "Cross was in the same situation me and Killer were in. All alone with no one to care for him. Would either of you been happy if you almost had a little family again, and then they just, change their mind and say 'I've got enough kids. Never mind.' And leave you behind? No!" That wasn't fair. Cross deserved someone who loved him. Horror looked guilty.
"Yeah, but he has Ink." Killer replied. "Wait. He doesn't want Ink. Never mind. I'm dumb."
"Alright. Ready to go?" Nightmare asked "Blue's been at the Stars base for a few days. He's going to have to check in with his brother soon."
We nodded. Nightmare smiled.
Nightmare POV:
We waited in the forest just outside of Underswap's Snowdin. That was probably where Blue would come through. He liked walking through the forest. I'd felt his positivity from it too many times. We waited. I felt Horror getting hungry and bored. I climbed down from the tree I was perched in and walked up to him. I had brought a couple things in a small bag.
"There should be some snacks in there." I told him quietly. He smiled up at me.
"Thank you."
A flash of brilliant blue stopped us. Blue had arrived. I ducked behind the tree with Horror. Blue was humming and walking by. Killer and Dust dashed out as we had planned. Horror stayed beneath me.
"Hi mister Blue!" Killer said, trying to stall. I crept out behind him and Dust.
"Oh! Are you two lost?" Blue asked. I got closer and closer to Blue. I grabbed I'm from behind and quickly covered his mouth with a cloth. I held his limbs still with my tentacles. He squirmed and struggled, but eventually slowed down and fell into unconsciousness. I let go of him and he fell onto the snow, completely out. I picked him back up with a tentacle and rounded up the kids. Killer and Dust were celebrating that we did it. Horror was just eating the snacks, smiling.

"Alright, I was not expecting that to work. Well, let's head home and put him away." I said. Dust put his hands on his hips.
"Of course it worked!" He said proudly.
I teleported us home and put Blue in a cell. I knew I'd have about a day or two before either Swap Papyrus or the other Stars noticed he was gone.
"Alright. You guys want to wait until he wakes up?" I asked. They nodded. "Okay. Just tell me when he wakes up okay?" They nodded agin and looked at the unconscious skeleton.
Cross POV:
I was angrily sitting on a bed. Ink had placed me in his spare room and had me under supervision. Right now it was the bubbly skeleton named Dream. He was just a little happy.
"Do you want to play a game?" Dream offered. I just pulled the blankets over my head and kept doodling a drawing of Nightmare. "Please Cross. This is better than what my brother would have given you."
"He said he had a little family. I almost had a family again! Now I " Tears formed in my eyes again. It had a been a day now since Ink brought me here.
"A little family?" Dream questioned.
I don't reply. I just angrily scribbled. 'I just want a family again.' I thought.
"We could be a family for you." Dream offered as though he read my thoughts.
"Pfft. You're only offering that because you want to make me forget about Nightmare." I replied angrily. Dream sighed.
Killer POV:
Horror, Dust and I were talking while we waited for Blue to wake up. We stopped when he began to stir. I walked up to the bars and looked in. Blue's eyes fluttered open. He immediately sat up and looked around, he saw us sitting in front of him.
"You guys! Are you trapped down here too? Did Nightmare get you too? Can you help me?" He asked, scooting up to the bars. Dust walked off, probably to get Nightmare. Me and Horror looked at him.
"Nope!" I said, not a hint of sympathy in my voice. "We're here by choice, and you," I pointed at him, "are our prisoner." His face seemed somehow betrayed. I extinguished his little spark of hope that we were nice. Dust returned with Nightmare in tow.

"Well, look who's up." Nightmare said in a taunting tone. I backed up with Horror and let Nightmare stand in front of the small skeleton. "We need you to tell us where your base is."
"Why?!" Blue immediately sounded more tough with nervousness under it.
"I want Cross. You've probably seen him. Now where is it?" He turned to us. "Leave. I'll teach you how to torture prisoners when you're older." He said coldly.
"But-" I started
"No buts. Leave or I will carry you out. I'll come by soon, okay?" His voice softened up a bit.
Horror and Dust began to walk out. I glared. I stomped out after. I love torture. Why couldn't I watch? 'Hmph!' I went straight to my room and kicked a random basketball. That wasn't fair! We helped catch Blue! We should be able to at least watch him get interrogated! I snuck back down towards the dungeon. I crept in and snuck on the stairs where I could see Nightmare and Blue.
"WHERE IS IT?!" Nightmare shouted. Blue was refusing to give it up. Nightmare bent down beside him and grabbed his arm. I watched in a sadistic awe as he began to bend it, causing a lot of pain. Blue was grinding his teeth. There was deafening crunch and Blue screamed out in pain as his arm had a new bend in it. I covered my ears.
"Okay! Okay!" Blue gave up, tears streaming down his face. He said the location and pleaded for Nightmare to stop.
Nightmare bent down over Blue who was curled on the ground crying and clutching his snapped arm. "See? Was that so hard?" He said in a sadistic way. "I'll take you back to Underswap after I get Cross."
Nightmare began walking back up. I backed out of the dungeon quickly. That. Was. Awesome. In my crazy sadistic mind.
"Killer I know you watched the second half of that." Nightmare said as he saw me outside of the dungeon. I looked at him, the guilt shown on my face. "Don't do that again. When I tell you to stay away, you do it."
"Sorry Nightmare." I said, looking at the ground.
"You have to stay here next mission." He said. "You do still get to come and rescue Cross though. We're doing that now."
I looked up at him and smiled.
Cross POV:
I was glaring at Dream when Ink suddenly burst in.
"Dream we have an...issue. Come with me." He pulled Dream out of the room. I walked up to the door and pressed my 'ear' against it.
"...for Cross. Do we do it?" I heard Ink's muffled voice. I backed up. Did someone want me? "For Cross" unless they're giving me something? I got confused.
~Small Time Skip of Ten Minutes~
Ink burst in and grabbed me. He carried me all the way out to where Nightmare was standing with three others...and Blue. Blue looked like he'd been to hell and back, with a very broken arm.
"I didn't expect you to actually do it, Ink." Nightmare's icy voice said. He threw Blue over to Ink and Dream and one of his tentacles grabbed me. It pulled over and placed me in his arms.
"Still want to join?" He asked.
'He went through all this trouble...for me?' I teared up and nodded. I eventually started crying into his chest. He teleported us home, along with the other three.
"Cross, this is Horror, Killer, and Dust. Guys, this is Cross." Nightmare placed me down in front of them. I was a bit smaller than them. They greeted me, or Dust and Killer did. Horror just stared. He did say hi, then he got happier.
~A Time Skip of One Month~
Nightmare POV:
Everyone soon got along. It didn't take long for the others to accept Cross. I was happy. That wasn't something I felt often. This was the change I needed. These four added a unpredictable spice to my life that was nice. The prince did still get jealous sometimes, but I usually read to him alone for a bit and he was fine with that. Of course the Stars still gave us problems, but we could handle them.
