《Mama Nootmare (A fanfic with the bad sanses)》Chapter 18 - The End

Nightmare POV:
I'd kept the kids close to me after I'd got them back. I'd slowly left them alone as my paranoia went away. Me and Error had grown quite close lately, even going on a few dates without the kids. Right now was a rare time that I was alone. I was talking with Passive who'd learned sign language and made me as well. At least there was less stinging this way. We were on my bed. Then Error walked in.
"Need something, Glitch?" I asked. He walked up to me. Then he went behind me and hugged me. "Just want cuddles? Okay." I patted the arms that wrapped around my waist. He put his head on my shoulder. I kissed his cheek. A yellow hue appeared on his cheeks.
"You're hardly ever alone anymore." Error complained.
"What? You want private cuddle time?" I joked.
"Yes."
I stifled a laugh. I leaned back into him, startling him a little.
"How are the kids doing?" I asked the glitching skeleton.
"Fine. Horror's eating snacks with Cross while Killer spars Dust." Error reported.
"Good."
I was happy. Oddly enough. Error had recently become my boyfriend and the kids seemed to have recover from the Stars incident. I got up to go check on the kids, leaving an upset Error behind. They were now playing Mario cart again. I watched for a bit. I looked towards them. Cross had hit an unexpected growth spurt and was now around the same size as the others. They looked so sweet.
"Who's winning?" I asked.
"Killer." Cross replied. I'd had to make him bigger versions of his clothes. I sighed happily. I had a happy little family.
~A Few Years Later~
Cross POV:
I was trying to reach the cake mix in the cabinet. We were making a cake for Nightmare. He turns 500 today! That's a big deal! I stretched my arm a bit more and managed to tip the mix into my hand.

"Ha! You're 15 now and still can't reach the top shelf?" Killer teased.
I flicked his face playfully and tossed the cake mix to him.
"You're 16 and barely taller than me. So shut up stupid." I retorted.
He poured it into a bowl as Dust looked at the instructions. I got a few ingredients from the cupboard as Dust read them out. I got the eggs out and Horror opened it and ate one of them raw.
"Dude. You're gonna get salmonella." I said.
"We're living skeletons. We hardly get sick." He stated.
"I got sick once." Killer started explaining the time he got sick 11 years ago. That was the only time one of us got sick.
"I remember. We became blanket sushi's." I commented. We laughed. Dust came over and grabbed two eggs. Then Radier walked in. "Oh hey Rad." I said.
He smiled. The kid was about one and a half. He couldn't quite speak yet, but he could walked a bit. Horror scooped him up. He began tickling the kid. Error and Mom finally had an offspring. He was pretty cute though. I felt a tap on my shoulder. Dust held a filled cake pan.
"How did you do that so fast?" I asked.
"Just put it in the oven. Your the only trustworthy one to do that." Dust ordered. I took it from him and placed it in the preheated oven.
"Hey kidiots!" We recognized Mom's voice coming into the kitchen. "Are you trying to cook an egg on the bare stove again?" He asked.
"We're making you a cake!" Horror announced.
"Happy 500th birthday Mom." The rest of us said together.
"Also Ive got Radier." Horror continued.
"Oh, thanks." Nightmare walked over and took his child from Horror.

He chatted with us while we waited for the cake to finish. As we waited, Dust began making some icing. He was somehow the best baker we had. It eventually finished and I took it out of the oven. We waited a bit for it to cool down, then Dust iced it. Once we'd, or Dust, finished, Nightmare smiled at it.
"Thanks guys." He said. Radier reached out towards the cake. "You can have some in a bit, okay?" He cooed to the toddler, who pouted.
Error came down and we skipped the song an just had Nightmare cut the cake. He was never one for celebrating. We all got a piece and began eating.
Nightmare POV:
I finished my cake and looked at my kids and boyfriend.
"Who wants to go ruin some lives?" I asked. The others all looked up. Recently I've started giving them solo missions to go ruin lives alone. "All together. Like when you guys were younger."
They all agreed eagerly. I smiled. They grew up way to fast. At least I have Radier. He was sitting in my lap, chewing on a little bit of cake I'd given him.
~A Few Hours Later~
We all stumbled back inside. We were all tired. We ended ruining three aus. I sat on the couch and the four others followed. Dust rested his head on my shoulder, Horror was resting on my tentacles, Cross was on my lap, and Killer was on my other shoulder after a bit. I patted all of their heads with my tentacles. I kissed all of them in the forehead as they soon fell asleep. We had a tussle with the Stars, but luckily we weren't injured. I sighed happily. I wouldn't trade this moment for anything. I rested my head on top of Dust's. I hummed in content as I slowly drifted off to sleep.
"I love you all." I quietly said.

Journey Towards Dao
What is infinite, possessing no beginning nor end? What is imperceptible, appearing both indistinct yet intelligible? What is indecipherable, unable to be interpreted or understood? What is quintessential, unfathomable, eternal? What is Dao? The main focus of this story is detailed cultivation, professions, and combat systems. It's a slice-of-life with a cultivation system that delves into psychological aspects (including minor psychopathic/sociopathic elements). Protagonist is the low-key sort. Be prepared for a slower start. This is my first ever experience writing fiction. I'm trying my best to put out quality content initially, but my main goal is to improve. Comments, ratings, and reviews are greatly appreciated!

Second Chance
This story starts somewhere in the future. Twenty years before the story begins, a genius scientist created hundreds of machines called the SC-Capsules before he went missing. Nobody alive on Earth knows for sure what the machines do, since anyone who uses them will disappear without any trace, and anyone who tries to disassemble them will be blasted into pieces. Two decades afterward, a dying man tries to escape from death’s grip by doing something that nobody but a desperate man would do. He uses one of the machines… and is transported to another world. He is given another chance, a second chance to live as he wishes… a chance to be a hero… or a villain… or both… or neither… Warning: 18+ due to violence, language, and sexual content on later chapters

The Dawn of Blood
As the saying goes, "Ignorance is bliss." That is a good way to describe us. We are constantly seeking to improve, to evolve. Coming up with laws and theories to better understand the world around us. But what if it was all for naught. What if what we think is truth is nothing more than the actions of higher beings, far beyond our reach. Upon the discovery of an entire new reality, remaining ignorant is certain death. The only way to live is to grow, to evolve, to adapt. This is my first novel so any feedback and criticism is greatly appreciated. I hope that I'm able to grow as a writer through this and hope that people enjoy my work. Credit for the cover image goes to Richard Luong. Check him out at https://tentaclesandteeth.deviantart.com.

Adelaide
The entries here are transcribed from the log of Marie Ruiz, first mate of the Adelaide. It was definitely, definitely not published without her permission or knowledge by a certain lovable artificial intelligence for the purpose of sharing it with my AI friends on other ships who follow it like a soap opera. No way, no how. Remember guys, don’t go spreading this around too much. Only pass it on to those you can trust. God forbid this should ever end up on a public network… (Adelaide is a science fiction web serial featuring the adventures of a crew of smugglers. In space. It’s on the softer end of the soft/hard sci-fi spectrum because the author got a C in physics. Updates every other Sunday.)
