NEXT DAY: BILL'S GARAGE
Bill inserted the chip into the projector as everyone sat down, "Look. It's where G-G-Georgie disappeared." Bill frantically pointed at the locations, "There's the ironworks, and the Black Spot. Everyone It happens it's all connected by the sewers. And they all meet up at- the well house." Ben finished as we all stared at the red dotted lines on the map. "It's on Neibolt Street." Stan discovered, "You mean that creepy ass house where all the junkies and the hobos like to sleep?" Richie questioned disgusted as Eddie took a puff of his inhaler.
"I hate that place. I always feel like it watching me." Beverly shook. "That's where I saw it. That's where I saw the clown." Eddie gasped frightened. "That's w-where I-It lives." Bill estimated as Eddie stood in front of the projector, "Can we stop talking about this? I can barley breathe, this is summer we're kids, I can barley breathe I'm up here about to have a fucking asthma attack!" Eddie shivered breathing heavily, "I'm not doing this." He ripped the map off the wall, "What the hell? Put the map back." Bill demanded as Eddie shook his head.
The projecter started to click off and on.
"What happened?"
"What's going on?"
"Hold on. I got this." Mike walked towards the projector slowly as the screen revealed pictures of Bill with his family, including Georgie. I started to quiver in fear as my lip shivered.
The projector clicking ran faster and faster as everyone got out of their seats. The projecter had zoomed in on Billy's mom, hair blocking her face.
"Bill.."
"What the fuck is that?"
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT??"
"I don't fucking know!!!!!"
I shivered walking over to Bill, who was just staring. Me and Beverly demanding for him to turn it off. "Turn it off!" Everyone yelped. Mike took the big swing and kicked the projecter flat on the floor. All the pictures had fallen out, Stanley was closer and closer to the screen. I panted louder and louder.
Then a clown appeared where Bill's mom just was.
He was gone in an instant after the last click. So what we thought..
The clown from the screen had became a reality. It popped it's head out of the wall facing Stanley. "Stan! Get away from there!" He frantically ran over to us.
IT CRAWLED TOWARDS US.
I could barley see anything. It was pitch black. We all screamed in fear and disbelief. My breath hitched as it ran directly towards me, so I ran towards Beverley and crawled into a little ball stomping my foot, "This isn't real, this isn't real!!" I thought and said aloud. Luckily, in the exact timing, the garage door opened, shining the bright light outside to in.
Beverly's hands slowly exited her face and checked if Ben was okay, then hugged Bill. We all looked back at the wall where the footage was shown, and It was gone. I felt Stanley hold on to me, my heart pounding. I felt arms wrap around me ad my heart pumped faster. "Relax, its just me. Richie." I looked up and his arms felt warm and safe. He helped me up and smiled for assurance that everything was fine.
Everything was not fine.
"It saw us," Eddie gasped, "It saw us and it knows where we are!"
"It always did." Bill remarked, walking outside, "So let's go." Ben hesitated, "Go? Go where?" "Neibolt." Bill said in a 'duh' tone. "That's where G-G-Georgie is." He explained. "After that?" Stanley furrowed his brows. "Yeah it's summer, we should be outside." Richie reasoned, "If you say it's summer one more f-f-ucking time." Bill hopped off on his bike and rode off.

"Bill!" Beverly called after, "Wait!"

Eventually, we all caught up with Bill.
"Bill!" Beverly threw down her bike, "You can't go in there. This is crazy." We all walked towards the stairs,
"Look, you don't have to come with me. What happens if another Georgie goes missing? Or another Betty, or another Ed Corcaran, or one of us? Are you just gonna pretend it isn't happening like everyone else in this town? Because I can't." He paused, "I go home and Georgie isn't there. He's clothes, his toys, his stupid stuffed animals but, he isn't. So walking into this house, for me, is easier than walking into my own." He finished leaving me amazed.
He turned around and started walking up to the door. "Wow." Richie breathed, "He didn't stutter once." Ben and him began to walk up to the door, "Wait." Stanley paused them, "Um.. shouldn't we leave a lookout?" He looked around nervously, "You know, If something bad happens?"
"W-Who wants to st-stay out here?" We all shot our hands up besides Beverly. "Shit." I sighed under my breath.

We creaked the door open slowly with me, Richie, Bill, and Eddie entering. The house looked old, dusty, and crusty.
"I can't believe I pulled the short straw. You guys are lucky you aren't measuring dicks." Richie whined. "Shut up, Richie." Eddie whispered. "I can smell it." Eddie gasped, "Don't open your mouth." Richie warned.
"Why?"
"Because then you're eating it." Eddie gagged and reached for his inhaler. "What's wrong Richie?" I asked looking in his direction as he walked towards something. "It, it says I'm missing." Richie held a poster as Bill and Eddie walked over. "You're not missing Richie- Police Department, City of Derry. That's my shirt, that's my hair, that's my face! That's my name, my age, that's the date!" Richie panicked as Bill tried to calm him down. "It can't be real Richie." Bill snatched the paper out of his hands, "No, it says it! Why the fuck am I missing? Am I gonna go missing?"
"Richie, calm down!" Bill and I both tried to handle him. "Richie. Look at me." He did exactly, "You're not going to go missing. Not now. Not ever. Okay? And if some dumbass clown tries to take you, we won't let that happen." He nodded slowly as we heard a girls voice in the distance.
"Hello?" She echoed again. We ventured up the stairs as Richie interlocked his fingers with mine. We reached the second floor which was way darker then the first one. "Ew!" I said as the rats rumbled past my feet.
We walked down a spooky corridor in the hallway. We spotted the girl at the door, coughing. "Betty?" "Ripsom?"
She was pulled away screaming with yelp for help which made me flinch. We walked through a door, "She was just here. Where the fuck did she go?" Richie questioned. "Hey guys, where's Eddie?" I looked around and heard yelps. "Guys! Guys!" Eddie's voice was heard through the shut door. "Eddie?"
"Eddie open the door!" Bill and I struggled to open the door.
"Eddie what's going on over there?"
"Eds!"
Eddie screams had faded away.
As soon as I turned back round, Richie had vanished. "Bill? Where did Richie go??" A door slammed shut. "Richie!" We yelped dashing our way over to a room. "Come on this isn't funny!" Richie screamed through the door. "Open the door!" Bill pounded, "I can't!"

One minute later.
Bill and I attempted to open the door again, but Richie busted through into my arms, Bill shutting the door behind him.
"God Richie, I thought I lost you!" I said so only Richie could hear. "Let's get outta here!"
We turned around and was faced with a gory Eddie, "You wanna play loogie?" I panted as it sputtered black liquid, filling the room. We turned around again, but there were three doors with words carved out of blood, "Not Scary at all, Scary, and Very Scary.
We bolted our way towards the 'Not Scary at all' room and opened it revealing a hanging girl with no legs. We screamed, and immediately shut the door, Where the fuck were her legs?" Richie screamed leaning against the door. The black liquid started coming towards us, "Holy shit! What the fuck was that?!" Richie panicked again. "This isn't real. Remember the missing kid poster. That wasn't real, so this isn't real." Bill tried to ease Richie down. "Come on ready?" "No!"
"Oh thank fuck." Richie gasped as there was nothing behind the door, just an empty hallway. "Where's Eddie?" Bill questioned as we heard the screams of Eddie a door away from us. We bolted down the hallway, through a door which revealed the clown on top of Eddie. "Holy fuck." I breathed. "This isn't real enough for you Billy?" It had spoken, "I'm not real enough for you?" He fake pouted. "It was real enough for Georgie!" He laughed hysterically lunging towards us like a bullet. I grabbed onto Richie as tight as I possibly could, screaming in fear.
SLASH!
Beverly saved the day by sticking a pole right up the clown's pale forehead, blood gushing upwards. The others came running inside as well. "Get Eddie!" Bill and Richie both yelped as we all ran towards him. The clown slowly turned around with the gigantic pole sticking through his head. I shook, clinging onto Bill's shirt. "Eddie look at me!" Richie screamed grabbing onto his cheeks.
"He's gonna get us!"
"Guys!"
"No!"
It lunged towards us very strong, roaring, slashing Ben in the stomach and knocking me in the head. I collapsed, all I heard was screaming and shouting. My mind was blank and soar. "Is this it for me? Am I in heaven?" I thought. "Get Y/n!" I heard distant voices.
I was fine, I tried to lift my head up but my body refused. "Okay, I'm gonna snap your arm back into place!" I heard Richie scream. "Rich, do not fucking touch me!"
"One, two, three!"
Obviously, I was gone because I was forgotten that quickly! Someone lightly shook me, "Y/n, are you alive? Please wake up!" Stanley's voice pleaded. I opened my eyes very slowly, "Good! You're alive! Thank god!" He sighed, "Here get on my back, quickly!" He helped me get onto his back. Richie ran over to me, "Y/n are you okay? Are you hurt?" He said observing my body. "Im fine, just some minor headache, thanks." I said as we ninja'd out of that place as fast as our legs could scurry. My eyes were very heavy and it felt like needles poked through.
----
I saw Richie shoot me a look of jealousy because Stan's hands were on my ass in order to hold me upright. "Did you know you are really light Y/n?" Stanley whispered.
"You, you did this!" Eddie's mom grabbed Eddie by the hand. "You know how delicate he is." I seriously wondered, "If he's delicate, why are you forcefully grabbing him by the neck?' She opened the car door, "W-w-we were attacked, Mr-Mrs K." Bill defended. "No, don't, don't try to blame anyone else." She shut the door and dropped her keys. "Let me help- get back!" She hollered as Beverly tried to help her pick the up. "Oh I've heard of you Ms. Marsh. I don't need a dirty girl like you touching my son." I grew red with rage, "SAY THAT AGA-" Ben instantly covered my mouth, "I swear to fucking god." I mumbled at her. "Mrs. K, I-s-s- No! You are all monsters! And Eddie is done with you all. Do you hear? Done." She got in the drivers seat and started the car. I could see Eddie very sad through the window. She finally drove off.
We walked in the middle of the street, watching as the rode away. I slowly got off of Stan's back, him helping me stand. Bill turned around to us, "I saw the well. We know where it is a-and next time we'll be better prepared. Suddenly Stan spoke up, "No! No next time Bill, you're insane!"
"Why? We all no one else isn't going to do anything." Beverly protested. "Eddie and my girlfriend was nearly killed! And look at this motherfucker! He's leaking hamburger helper!" Richie exaggerated. "Girlfriend?" Everyone said in unison, they knew it wasn't Beverly so they all looked at me. Beverly shook it off, "We cant pretend its gonna go away. Ben you said it yourself it comes back every 27 years." Beverly noted. "Fine! I'll be 40 and far away from here. I thought you said you wanted to get out of this town, too." Ben argued. "But I want to run towards something, not away."
"I'm sorry, who invited Molly Ringwald into the group?" Richie scoffed as she flipped him off. "Richie- I'm just saying let's face facts. Real world. Georgie is dead. Stop trying to get us killed, too." Richie stepped towards in Bill's view just as he stopped him, "Georgie's not dead." Bill said firmly. 'You couldn't save him, but you can still save yourself- No! T-t-take it back. You're scared, we all are but take it back!" Bill pushed Richie and he stumbled back. Richie did the same but Bill punched him square in the face. I covered my mouth in shock.
"Bill!"
"You're all just a bunch of losers!"
"Fuck off!" Richie said ready to fight again. "Richie stop-- you're just a bunch of losers and you'll get yourself killed trying to catch a fucking stupid clown!" He squirmed out of Stan and Mike's grasp. "Stop!" Beverly shouted.
"This is what it wants. It wants to divide us. We were all together when we hurt it. That's why are still alive!" Beverly informed to make them understand. "Yeah? Well I plan to keep it that way." Richie brushed past Bill harshly and rode off on his bike along with Stanley and Ben. "Mike.." Beverly called as he started to walk away, "Guys, I can't do this. My grandad was right. I'm an outsider, gotta keep it that way." He defended as he rode off, too. Beverly, Bill, and I looked at each other with disbelief.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess.
