Scott, Malia, Brett and Lydia seal up all the entrances into the Argent bunker.
"The tunnel gate's locked. Everything is locked," Lydia says as she runs into the bunker. Brett closes the door behind her.
"Think it'll hold them off?" Malia asks.
"Probably not," Scott replies.
"Definitely not," Lydia corrects.
"What'd you think?" Brett asks.
"You guys aren't hoping I'm gonna be the optimist, are you?" Malia asks.
"So, how cold does this thing get?" Scott asks as they walk over to Parrish's freezer.
"Cold enough for a Hellhound. It's not the same thing as the ice bath you gave Isaac, but it can lower your core temperature past anything a human can survive," Lydia explains.
"Who's Isaac?" Brett asks and looks over at Malia who just shakes her head.
"So, what does freezing our asses off have to do with our memories?" Malia comes back to the topic.
"It'll slow your heart rate and put you in a trance-like state," Lydia explains.
"Like hypnosis," Brett realises.
"Hypnotic regression. If we can figure out how to work it..." Lydia points out.
"This says 'start.' So, maybe it's not that complicated," Malia says while pointing to the green button on the side. Scott looks at all the other handles and settings.
"...It's complicated," He concludes.
"So, optimistically, how much time do you think we need to do this?" Malia asks.
"As much time as Liam, Liz, Cheryl and Stilinski can buy us," Scott replies.
~~~
Liz, Liam, Cheryl, James and Stilinski are outside of the Sherrif's station and walking over to it.
"Look, I'm not saying you have to like him," Liam starts.
"Good, cuz no one likes him," Cheryl points out.
"I'm just saying... maybe he can help us," Liam adds ignoring Cheryl's comment.
"Liam, I'll consider asking Theo for help when I don't have a station full of armed deputies to back me up," Stilinski replies and opens the door to find an empty station.
"So now or...?" James says. Liz and Cheryl give him a look to shut him up. Stilinski walks over to a radio.
"Any available units-- this is Sheriff Stilinski, do you copy?" Stilski calls. "I repeat-- any and all units, this is Sheriff Stilinski. Respond immediately with your twenty." No answer. "All units-"
"They're gone," Liz interrupts him.
"That-that-that's not possible. That's-they couldn't have taken everyone," Stilinski protests.
"They didn't," James says. The others turn to look in the direction of the thing James is looking at. They find Theo in a jail cell.
"Wonderfull," Cheryl comments.
~~~
"Please, please tell me that you brought the key card," Theo begs.
"Please tell me you didn't," Cheryl mutters.
"I also brought my gun," Stilinski answers.
"And your sense of humour. That is great. But, if we're the only ones left in Beacon Hills, then we need each other. Which means you need me out of this cell," Theo points out.
"We need to trust you," Liam corrects him. James turns to the teenage werewolf with a raised eyebrow.
"Then you need to get realistic, because trust is not important right now. It is us against them, and you want a lot more of us, considering how many of them there are," Theo reminds them.
Liam opens his mouth to speak but Liz holds up her hand. "Don't. Please, don't say it," she says.
"I hate to say he's right, but... he's kind of right," Liam says and Liz pulls a face.

"If I let you out, and I see any behaviour that I find remotely suspicious, I'll put so many bullets in your head, God won't even recognize you," Stilinski threatens.
"I'm an atheist. Fire at will," Theo says. James snorts and Liz, Cheryl and Liam turn to him with a disappointed and annoyed expression. Stilinski takes out the keycard and moves over to the reader. He stops midway.
"You're gonna need to be a bit closer than that, Sheriff. Wave it over the card reader. Come on. Right here. Up and down. You can do it!" Theo says desperately.
"Sheriff, we need him," Liam points out.
"Tell me something," Stilinski says. Liz frowns and looks over at him. She tilts her head in confusion and narrows her eyes trying to figure out what that could mean.
"Tell you what? What are you talking about?" Theo asks.
"Tell me about my son. Tell me one thing about Stiles that you remember. Just one."
"You swipe that key card, I'll tell you anything you want."
"Sheriff! They are coming," Liam says while glancing around nervously.
"One thing. Just one thing!" Stilinski yells. He turns and starts to walk away.
"He was smart!" Theo shouts and Stilinski turns around. "Smart enough not to trust me."
~~~
"They're here," James announces.
"How close?" Stilinski asks.
"Too close," Cheryl answers glumly.
"How many?"
"I heard a couple horses, maybe more," Liam replies.
"Ten. I-I think ten at most," Theo concludes.
"Six of us, ten of them. You ready?" Stilinski asks.
"Wait, are you kidding? Us against ten Ghost Riders?"
"We can take 'em," Liam replies.
"Ten of them?" Liz asks critically.
"Six of us,"
"We're going to die," James realises.
Stilinski sighs and opens the door. He finds a lot more than ten Ghost Riders. The Riders start to shoot and Stilinski serves as a shield to give the others more time. The werewolves react quickly by moving out of the way. Theo pulls Liz with him to the left side of the door while the others end up on the right side. Stilinski disappears into green smoke. Cheryl and Liam pull Liz and Theo over to the right side.
"Five of us," Theo says.
"Ten!?" Liz asks incredulously. "No more than ten, huh?"
~~~
Theo, Liam, Cheryl, Liz and James make it outside to the cars.
"Go! I'll buy you guys some time," James says and turns around.
"Don't think I'll give some kind heartfelt cringy speech because you wanna be an idiot!" Cheryl says and they all get in a car.
"Keys! Keys!" Theo says from the driver's seat. Liam, in the passenger's seat, grabs a box and opens it to find quite a lot of keys. "Are you serious?"
"Here," Liam says and hands Theo a key. He tries it and it doesn't work.
"Give me another!"
"Which one?"
"Any of them! Come on!"
"There's a lot of keys here!"
"I really feel like you're not even trying right now, Liam."
"I'm trying!"
"No. Come on, Liam, give me ano-This isn't even a car key!"
"That's a small key. That's too small. Too small!"
"Come on!"
"Oh my god!" Liz says and holds her hand above the box. She mutters something and a key shoots into her hand. She throws it at Theo who catches and tries it. The engine spings to life.

"YES! Go, go, go!!!" Liam shouts and Theo starts the car. He drives backwards and they hit something. They realise it's a Ghost Rider and smile before driving away.
~~~
"Okay. It's doing something. You ready?" Malia asks Scott.
"Remember, this will get cold enough to kill you. So, if something feels wrong, or, like it's not working..." Lydia trails off.
"It's going to work," Scott treasures her.
"I hope you're not saying that because you think I know what I'm doing..."
"I'm saying that because I know you can figure it out." A shirtless Scott smiles and gets inside the sarcophagus. "Oh, okay. All right. Yeah, that's cold. Really cold."
"So, what are we supposed to do? Talk to him? Help him remember? Wait 'til he turns into a Werewolf freezy-pop?" Malia questions.
"We need to guide him, keep him focused," Lydia explains. "Scott, you have to think about them. Concentrate on Stiles and Selene. Try to picture them in your head. Think about what they look like, things they've said..."
"I don't like this. Something's wrong."
"Wait. Give it a few more seconds."
Scott seems to be in pain and then places his hand on the glass suddenly.
"I'm getting him out of there."
"Wait!" Brett stops Malia. Scott slowly removes it and stands up straight.
"Scott... Can you hear me? Scott, don't fall asleep. You have to keep your eyes open," Lydia tells him.
"I'm trying..." Scott mumbles.
"It's not sleep. I think you're losing consciousness... And, if you do that, I think we're gonna lose you... Scott, stay awake! Scott!"
~~~
In his mind, Scott is back in his house. It's his first full moon. Stiles has handcuffed Scott to the radiator in his room to keep him from hurting anyone. Stiles yells at Scott for kissing Lydia. Scott, in the past, tries to talk Stiles into letting him go.
~~~
"Where does this take us?" Theo asks.
"The hospital," Liam replies.
"Hospital? Why the... What the hell are we supposed to do at the hospital?" Theo asks incredulously.
"Hide," Liz says as if it should be obvious. Theo looks back at her and she just raises her hands.
"Look, we can't outrun them, right? I know every inch of that building-- every room, every corner," Liam explains.
"Hide? That's the best that we've got?" Cheryl asks.
"Who's side are you on?" Liam asks.
"Do not imply I have anything to do with... that," Cheryl says gesturing to Theo. "I just wanna stay alive."
"We just need to keep them away from Scott for as long as possible," Liam explains frustratedly.
"Why? What's he gonna do?" Theo asks.
"He's gonna remember," Liz answers.
"Remember what?"
"Selene. He has to remember Stiles and Selene," Liam explains.
"What if he can't?" Theo asks.
"Then the rest of us... We get forgotten."
~~~
Flashes of memory pour into Scott's head. There's a snatch of dialogue from when, while they were breaking into the school, Stiles complained about being Robin to Scott's Batman. Other bits of conversations and flashes of images of Stiles bombard Scott.
"Goddammit!" Selene yells and she parks. She locks the car doors and Scott looks at her terrified. "Really?" she asks and holds out her arms. Scott looks at her confused. "Give me your hands Scott" Selene demands and Scott hesitantly puts his arms on hers.
It's then he notices his claws. Scott looks up and his eyes, a glowing amber colour.
"You have to get it under control. Scott. Focus on your breathing, on getting calm. Then focus on getting away the claws" Selene advises and Scott nods.
He closes his eyes and starts breathing in and out deeply. He opens his eyes and they're their normal brown again. Selene smiles and Scott looks down. He sees his claws are gone.
More images flash through his head, this time of Selene. Random moments where she's laughing as well as them playing lacrosse together.
He remembers the first time he saw her play, as well as the time she helped him with his control, when Selene told him to 'Go get her' about Allison after they won a match, the first time Selene met Peter and broke his jaw, when he and Cheryl found Selene and Derek after they got kidnapped by Kate Argent, when she came back and saved him, Derek and Stiles from the Kanima, when he sent her about a hundred voicemessages because she didn't want to talk to him after he helped Gerard, when she stiched him up after he wouldn't heal because he thought he was responsible for Derek's death, him and Isaac being concerned as she doesn't wake up while the Nogitsune and Lydia are missing, when she told him she was going to Paris at look-out point and they agreed to always save the city
~~~
"What's happening to him?" Malia asks.
"I don't know," Lydia replies.
"He doesn't look good. He looks..." Brett points out. "...Lost."
"I think he is. I think maybe it's too much information. Like he's getting buried under all the memories, being overloaded by them," Lydia realises.
"So what do we do to help him?" Malia asks.
"Scott? Scott, do you hear me? You have to try to focus!" Lydia shouts.
~~~
Liam, Liz, Cheryl and Theo arrive at the hospital. Liam stops and eyes an ambulance.
"Liam, come on! We don't have much of a lead on them," Theo points out. Liam gets inside the ambulance and turns on the sirens.
"What the hell are you doing?" Theo asks and moves forward to turn them off.
"Don't! Don't turn it off!" Liam holds Theo back. Theo gets out off Liam's grip but Liam is still standing between Theo and the alarm.
"You want to bring them all here? Every single one of them?" Theo questions furiously.
"That's exactly what I want to do... 'Cause if the Ghost Riders are here, that means they're not trying to get to Scott."
"So you don't care if they get to you?"
"They're gonna get to all of us eventually."
"You. You're going first. That's the only reason I'm with you-- because while they're busy wrapping a whip around your neck, or shooting a hole in your head, I'll be running the other direction. I'm on your side as long as it helps me."
"Trust me, I know." Theo scoffs and turns to enter the hospital. Cheryl has an eyebrow raised but doesn't say a word. He lets his gaze slide over to Liz who's eyeing the sirens with something on her mind.
"Let's just go," Cheryl says and they all enter the hospital. The hospital is deserted. Theo seems to waver a bit as he stills in the middle of the hallway.
"Theo?" Liz calls out to him but the chimeara doesn't seem to hear it. He flashes back to his sister ripping out his heart. "Theo..." Liz's voice is soft as she places a hand on his shoulder.
"I'm fine," He says harshly and removes her hand from his shoulder. "Just... Just thought I was somewhere else for a second."
"Where?" Cheryl asks confused.
"In a bad dream." Theo's voice is nearly a whisper. The door creaking snaps him out of his trance. He turns to Liam. "You said you knew where to hide."
"Follow me," Liam says and all three do so.
~~~
"You hear that?" Malia asks.
"I heard that," Brett says.
"Thunder?" Lydia asks.
"Maybe," Malia replies.
"Definitely," Brett corrects.
"This isn't working," Lydia complains with a sigh.
"Then we have to figure something else out," Malia says.
"I know. I know."
"Is he gonna freeze to death in there?"
"If his memories don't kill him..." Brett says.
"There has to be another way to do this... isn't there?" Malia asks.
"I don't know! This is my first attempt at trying to open a dimensional rift in space-time, so I'm kind of fumbling around in the dark, okay?" Lydia replies anxiously.
"Lydia, you're a genius," Brett realises.
"What?"
"Fumbling around in the dark... You're not the only one." Lydia's eyes grow wide in realisation.
"What does that mean?" Malia asks.
"I think we have to treat this more like actual hypnosis. They use images to guide you through memories. Like a stairwell-- the steps take you down through one year of your life to the next. That's how they regress you back," Brett explains.
"I get it. So, he needs to imagine something. What do we tell him?"
"Scott? Can you hear me?" Lydia starts. "Scott, listen... Imagine this... Imagine you're in the high school, in the corridor where all the lockers are. Just try to imagine standing there. That's where your memories are. They're all in the lockers. They're locked away behind each one. Every memory of Stiles and Selene is in a separate locker. Scott, you're there... in the high school... you're standing there now."
~~~
Scott is suddenly standing in the hallway of the school. He looks around confused before turning to the lockers and moving to open one.
~~~
"This is your brilliant idea? To barricade ourselves in the morgue?" Cheryl asks.
"The Ghost Riders go after the living... So, we hide with the dead," Liam explains and opens one of the cadaver coolers.
"I'm not getting in one of those," Theo states repulsed by even the idea.
"Me neither," Liam says with a disgusted tone.
"You should have left me in the holding cell," Theo complains.
"I should've left you in the ground."
"Oh, really?"
"Yes. Really."
"What do you think I was doing down there? Just hanging out with my dead sister? Having a good time catching up on childhood memories?"
"I think you were rotting down there."
"Liam finally gets one thing right."
"I also think whatever happened to you, you deserved it."
"Is that right?"
"When the Ghost Riders find us, I'm not gonna do anything for you. I'm not gonna help you. I'm not gonna save you. I'm gonna do exactly what you would do to me-- I'm gonna use you as bait."
"Considering by your reaction it has something to do with the hospital, maybe simply the scenery," Cheryl starts and Theo turns to her warily. "Then considering the skinwalkers have a very medieval way of punishments it was something to do with what you did." Cheryl starts to circle him.
"What're you talking about?" Theo asks. She stops right in front of him and puts her hand on his chest, right over his heart.
"She ripped your heart from your chest just like you stole hers for power, didn't she?" She gives him a victorious smirk.
"Okay, that's enough pschyco-analization for one day," Liz says and pulls Cheryl away from Theo, who seems horrified.
"You still hear the ambulance? The siren, can you still hear it?" Theo changes the subject. From Liam's reaction he knows his answer.
"They're here," Liz realises.
"How nice of them to let us know," Cheryl comments.
Isaac is badly burned on the side of his face and neck. Scott takes Selene's hand in his as he notices she's shaking.
"This my fault," Selene says and a sob escapes her lips. She puts her hand on Isaac's injured arm and starts to take his pain.
"It's not. Do you hear me? It's the Nogitsune's." Selene gasps in pain as she continues to take Isaac's. Her eyes glow red as Scott pulls her away. He turns her around to meet his eyes. "It really isn't."
"Everyone I love gets hurt," Selene says, her tone barely a whisper. Scott pulls her in for a hug.
"We'll be alright. We'll all be alright" Scott whispers while looking at Isaac over her shoulder.
Scott opens another locker and remembers the night Stiles disappeared but somehow managed to call him on his cell.
He opens yet another locker.
"His... his heart... He... He hasn't had a pulse in over fifteen minutes " Mason explains and a tear runs down Selene's cheek. She whipes it away angrily and starts doing heart compressions.
"Selene" Brett tries but Selene stays focused on the compressions. "He's gone"
"No, he's not. He's too strong to die like this" Mason and Brett share a look. "Come on Scott. You're an Alpha. A True Alpha. Open your eyes and look at me, okay? Come on! Breathe!"
"Selene" Mason tries.
"Shut up! He's too strong to die like this. Come on. You can do this. You're an Alpha. You're an Alpha. Come on, Scott... Roar. Come on! Come on, Scott!" Selene raises her hands high and starts to bring them down. Lighting seems to surround them as she yells "ROAR!" Her hands hits Scott's chest. He lets out a roar as lightning courses through his body.
Isaka Smith - is a third generation American and farmer who just wants to be left alone. But she is dragged into the situation by events beyond her control. After a visit to a local reservation, she finds herself conscripted to lead one of the many small support towns erected around the great pillar forts. Not near her old home, but in far-flung Africa. John McIntire, the “Fighting Bull” -The commander of the African Fort, but because of circumstances beyond his ability to contend with shortly after taking command after being re-activated from retirement, he finds communication with his chain of command increasingly difficult. The African Union is embroiled in a bitter civil war just outside his door, and supposedly, most of the world governments are in similar situations. Meanwhile, John must do his best to be ready to facilitate diplomacy, or to match the hostile argument of whatever force might come through the pillar of light when the year timer finishes counting down. Can our heros defend Earth from outside threats, while it tares itself apart? Or will they need to rebuild from the ground up?
