《Her tutor》25

I looked over at the girls who were watching me and Peyton. They were playing around and acting like me being all "lovey dovey" with Peyton when Eva and Dev fell.
I couldn't help but let out a laugh as I turned back to Peyton who was rapidly shaking.
"Woah... you okay?" I asked her and she nodded.
"Cold." She said as I smiled.
"Need a sweatshirt?" I asked and she shook her head no.
"We're gonna close down early... since it's close to 9 we're gonna close down." She said as I nodded going to get everybody out.
She went into the shack to do the same routine she did to close down the rink last time I was with her. She seems to love this job and it's great that she does.
She came out with a broom and gave one to me as we started.
"So what... do we leave her?" Emma asked and I nodded.
"Run before she sees us!" I yelled as we all started to run to my car.
We got in the car and drove to mine house before we did we picked up food.
I tried to get the layer of water on the ice but slipping on the edge I fell straight through the water. I think I hit my head... I blacked out for a minute or two laying in the cold water...I was too cold... too numb to feel anything but the coldness against my skin. My sweatshirt was soaked and so were my pants. The water layered the ice as I skated off.
"Woah... what happened to you?" Anna said in the shack as I looked at her.
She quickly pulled a sweatshirt off of her putting it on me.
"W-We have to wa-wait for the lights... to t-turn off..." I said shivering.
"We have no heater in here. Do you have a blanket? Why did you only wear on layer?" She said searching for anything to warm me.
"No... b-blanket... too rushed th-this morning... fuck." I said wanting to collapse.

Anna had quickly caught me as it was colder in the shack then it is outside for some reason.
"Hey your okay... your gonna be okay. Let's go outside and wait for the lights to turn off and we can go home." She said as her arms wrapped around me.
My hand felt like they had frostbite has I tried to lock the shack up.
"Here." Anna said has I handed her the keys.
I wrapped myself up trying to get my body to stay warm. The wet cold clothes had pressed against my skin and my skin soaked the cold water making me wanna die.
"Cmon." Anna said as her hands wrapped around me.
Her warmth was barely helping me but it was the best I had. I kept my head on her chest as she tightened the hug hoping to keep me warmer.
The lights don't turn out till 10... but I was 9:51 so we only had nine minutes.
"Here..." Anna said taking her sweatshirt off putting it over me where she had 2 layer.
"W-Wait no. What about y-you." I stuttered from how cold I was.
"I'm fine... just stay warm and give me your hands." She said putting them in her pocket.
She wrapped her arms around me again as I was shaking badly.
The lights suddenly turned off as Anna immediately started to walk me.
"You have a car?" She asked me as I nodded.
My only slightly movement by the cold making me stiff. I got in the car as Anna shook her head no.
"Get in the passenger seat. You are not driving." She said and I nodded as I moved.
We were driving. I felt tired, weak, I was confused...
"Hey no look at me." Anna said as my head wouldn't move.
She turned my head as my body went totally limp.
"Shit can you talk to me? Keep talking to me." Anna said as I was about to say something.
My words slurred... I mumbled something but she didn't hear me.

"No no... Cmon Peyton look at me and talk to me." She said speeding up.
"Pl-Please... don't crash us." I slurred my entire sentence as I such low and weak energy.
My head fell onto some padded from as Anna's voice yelled faded away.
"Peyton! Cmon. Please don't do this me right now!" She yelled and I hit the line...
I sped my driving in the neighborhood making it too my house. It was the closest one and the heaters were just now working.
Peyton was knocked out cold. I called my dad telling him to get the door ready. I needed has much help as I can get. We got minimal time and I don't wanna waste it.
I got out running to the other side. I picked up and carried Peyton as Dad opened the door.
"Who is that?" He asked as I didn't say anything.
I set her on the couch as I went to the heater turning it up. I was panicking... I should have been there when she fell in the water.
I took Peyton's hood off taking her clothes off one by one until she was in a sports bra and boxers.
I grabbed one of my sweats as and a sweatshirt. Dad had used the dryer to warm up blankets and used that to heat her up. I pulled the clothes over her and she started to move at the slightest but didn't wake up.
"S-She has hypothermia! Fuck dad what do I do?!" I yelled as he tried to calm me down.
"Sweetheart... tell me who this is first..." he said as I took deep breaths.
"Peyton... she's my tutor and my friend..." I said and he nodded.
"Is she sleeping here or in your room?" He asked me.
"My room." I said and he nodded.
He started to grab blankets and pillows and whatever he could find. I sat behind Peyton putting her head in my lap. I heard her mumble something before passing out again.
I wrapped her up before dragging my finger lightly down her neck which was colder than ice...
"Bring her in! And be quick!" I heard has I picked Peyton up.
I laid her down on my bed has she moved slightly around.
"Hey... you okay? What do you feel?" I asked as she was drowsy... but she was on low energy.
"I'm cold..." she whispered before falling out again.
I wrapped blankets around her. The warm ones my dad got and he out a heater in the room. I was terrified that Peyton might not wake up in the morning...
"Anna... She's gonna be okay. Just stay with her okay?" He asked me and I nodded.
I sat on the bed as I checked Peyton's pulse... it's was weak but we were gonna get it up. Her breathing was shallow and she looked pale.
I brushed the hair out of her eyes as I looked at her soft skin that was pale... I dragged my finger down her soft skin slowly.
"Anna?" I heard making me jump.
Brandon was in my doorway looking at me and then looking at Peyton.
"What happened... who is she?" He asked.
"She's just a friend Brandon... she just got a little too cold. She'll be fine." I said and he nodded.
He walked in giving me a hug for goodnight just like he always does.
I took a quick shower to warm myself and did my routine as I came out to see Peyton still in the position I left her.
I grabbed me warm clothes and turned the light off. I climbed in and I laid on top of her blankets except for the top layer. I put the top layer blanket over me as I pulled Peyton closer to me.
Her head fell into my shoulder and I felt my eyes starting to close.
