《Capo☑️》Nice gun babe

I'm getting married.
Today.
In 10 minutes.
Ya, breathing is a little hard right now.
I stared at my reflection, a dark grey suit covering my body, complimenting my gray eyes.
Cameron finished tying the wine red tie I was wearing and gave me a slight nod, leaving his room to do something?
I don't know, he wasn't that communicative.
I had a 45 caliber in the pocket of my suit, knowing full and well that wedding day or not, I still work for the mafia and there is no way that someone isn't going to try and kill me or Elena today.
Slowly letting my eyes wonder around Cameron's room, they meet a photo frame of Helena.
She was sitting on the ground with Miles small body on her shoulders, a picnic basket in front of her.
A small smile graced my face as I eyed the photo, barely comprehending the firm knock on the bedroom door, "Come in," I spoke, not taking my eyes off of the picture.
"It's time," Cameron informed, earning a nod from me.
I followed him out of the room, down the hall and down the stairs, both of us silent the whole walk.
Entering the yard from the back door, I walked down the isle to the end, positioning myself by Dash, my best man.
Kyle sent me a big smile and over exaggerated wink, causing me to let out a chuckle and shake my head.
Dash just looked deep in thought before sending me a look to which I raised an eyebrow too.
"Something doesn't feel right," he answered my un asked question.
I nod, turning to the brides maids, which is only one, Loki.
It honestly surprised me when Helena chose Mia over Loki as her maid of honor, but she said it was a gut feeling.
I give Loki and Mia a small smile, only earning one back from the young girl, Loki on the other hand just looked pissed.

The song 'I can't help falling in love' started playing on the piano, curtesy of Miles who spent all his free time learning to surprise his mom.
I turned to face the patio door, my gray eyes meeting Elena's hazel ones.
A dark red dress perfectly clung to her body, the bright color demanding attention from all.
The wine color brought out both the tanned skin of her collarbone and her gorgeous hazel eyes.
Miles butchered one of the notes in the song bringing Elena's attention to him, surprise filling her face.
Cameron was walking her down the isle, his face blank of emotion but his eyes telling a different story.
Once Elena was in front of me, I took her hands in mine, sending her a small wink before turning my attention to the speaker guy person.
I know, I'm a smart cookie.
Now, mafia weddings go down just a bit different then a average wedding.
Mostly because usually when someone in the mafia does get married, it's joining two very important mafia branches together, usually closing a contract or joining the two together.
In summary, they are just very short ass wedding's.
Literally vows and I do's.
"I Luca Blanks take thee Helena Torres to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part," I speak confidently, a smile growing on my face with each promise.
I know all the circumstances to this wedding were shit, for lack of a better word, but I never break a promise and I don't plan to.
Elena deserves the world after the shit she's been through, and I'll try my hardest to give it to her.
"I Helena Torres take thee Luca Blanks to be my wedded husband, to have an-"

Bang.
Fucking fantastic man.
"You may kiss the bride," the one guy says, knowing the drill.
Bang.
I pull Elena into a deep kiss, me taking my gun from my jacket pocket, her taking her gun from under her dress.
We both pull away, Elena rolling her eyes, "I just wanted to get married," she whines out, clicking off the safety of her H&K VP9 handgun.
Eyeing my surroundings, I spoke calmly, "Nice gun babe,"
She lets out a laugh, eyeing a certain corner of our house, "Awh, your finally calling me babe," she says sarcastically, the next bang coming from her gun.
A guy falls back from behind the curtain, causing the room to be flooded by more people.
"Geez, the couldn't even dress accordingly, I mean it's a wedding people," I complain, my ears getting used to the constant gunshots.
Everyone in the audience, including kids, had a gun, and where trying to exit.
Only the my gang and Elena's gang staying back to defend our family.
My eyes search the whole room for a mop of brown curly hair, "Where is Miles?" I ask Elena, not letting up on my kills.
"Safe room, Cam took him the second he finished on the piano," She shouts back.
I nod, throwing my gun on the ground and tackling the gun in front of me.
Throwing punches at his face, I let out a low groan when he flips us over, him on top of me.
I pull, what I call a 'no mas bebes dice Elena,' and kick the guy in the nuts.
It was his turn to groan, ha that's what she said, and I took that time to plummet him, not letting up once until I was sure he was unconscious.
I was tackled from behind, both me and Trent Williams junior ending up on my ground.
Now that I think about it, Elena's going to kill me for all the blood that is going to cover this floor.
Wasting no time, I flip positions with this guy, slamming him into the ground hard, snapping his neck without a second thought.
About 10 minutes pass and the room falls silent, dead bodies littering the ground.
I turn to my new wife, god that sounds like I have more then one, sending her a huge smile, "Well at least our honey moon ain't going to be in no morgue," I comment, raising my eyebrows jokingly.
She chuckles, "Y-"
"I wouldn't be so sure,"
Elena freezes, staring behind me, well I turn slowly, my whole expression changing, "You fucking bitch," I growl out, my eyes meeting Loki's.
She shakes her head feigning hurt, "Tsk tsk tsk, didn't your momma teach you not to call a lady any mean names?"
"Yes, she did, she also said, there will come a time mijo, were the words just have to be spoken, people can be real culo's sometimes," I seethe, clenching my bloody fists.
A strangled scream comes from behind me, and I turn to see Elena in a headlock.
I low chuckle comes from behind me, "That's Noah if you didn't know," she speaks smugly.
"I killed him,"
"No," she laughs out, "You shot him six times in the stomach before throwing him out a window, you never made sure he was dead,"
I let out a inhumane growl, "Why?" I ask, my voice deathly calm.
I turn around once Elena is out of Noah's grip, beating him.
Loki shrugs, "Why not?" she questions, pulling the trigger.

Twice Lived
Previously called Standard Reincarnation Story In a fraction of a moment, the Earth was no more. The planet was destroyed, and billions and billions of people were dead. And it was all an accident. This is the story of Elm. A regular American born once on earth and given a chance to be reborn again on a planet with magic and monsters and dungeons. Except that for Elm, this is far from the idealistic reincarnation into a loving family -- the standard story of a child raised by loving parents who teach him the ways of the world, Instead, Elm is born into a family of inquisitors. An order of nobility that is dedicated to hunting down and killing "Twice-Lived" -- the name society has for people like Elm who are reincarnated with all their memories of their past life intact. Disclaimer This story is: 1) Extremely violent and graphic. 2) Still in a rough draft stage. I see what I am writing more like a synopsis than a fully fledged story. I periodically will go back to flesh out earlier chapters, build characters, etc... If you find the words "Show don't tell," comforting accept that unfortunately, I'm not at that stage of the writing process yet. 3) At one point this story was called "Standard Reincarnation Story," and I had written an extremely off-putting description of the story. This was mostly to keep out people who would just read the silly first few chapters then rage quit as soon as the violent stuff got started. Since I just had my first .5 star rating (without a page read count increase) that technique is not working, so I might as well treat this as a regular fiction and try to get regular readers.

His elaborate clothing has been torn to ribbons, yet his skin remains unblemished. His face is peaceful, and tucked into the hand lying across his chest can be seen a solitary playing card. He is a Ludum Haeres. The last remnant of a Summoner. Numbered among those few capable of changing their destinies. The unseen rulers of the world known as Vesperia, and one of the most powerful creatures in existence. The woman knows none of this. And so, she picks up the card... This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.
