Marinette's POV
The way I found out I had regained my love for Adrien wasn't from some god filled moment, it was pretty dumb actually.
I had the dumbest thought when Adrien had gotten super close to me, and felt warm shivers move up and down my sides. I asked myself, 'I love Adrien, but why does he make me so nervous?'
It was very specific word choice that had gone through my head as Adrien's scent and closeness had filled up my nose, but once I thought it, I caught myself.
The word "love" kept blaring in my mind every time he got near me, causing my mind to fumble.
This all led to this moment, when I was crying unnecessary tears, trying to confess my Love to Adrien.
"I think I love you again..." I repeated, wiping some tears from under my sun glasses. "And I don't know why I'm crying but being near you makes me nervous, and that's why I've been fumbling around you today. And-and now I'm rambling, and now I don't know what to say, and now I'm wondering if you still love me back because I know I've been a mess the past few days and you've seen my ugly-." My rambling was stopped when I felt Adrien's soft lips from across the table touch mine. It was gentle, and passionate, but only lasted about half a second.
I stared at Adrien as he retracted back to his side of the booth, while giving me a heart warming smile. "Nothing about you is Ugly, and I find your rambling very cute actually." He said smoothly, causing my face to become red. "Aw don't hide your face from me now Princess, I wanted to hear the rest of what you were gonna say."
I felt his thumb wipe some of my tears from under my glasses, before he gave me a flirtatious look. "So.. so you do love me still, or?" I said nervously.
"How many kisses do I have to give you to get you to know how much I still love you?" He chuckled. I sighed, relaxing in my seat while looking at my menu. "I didn't know that was what you were trying to get off of your chest, you should've told me sooner." He smirked.

"What-what do you mean?"
"I mean we were in your bedroom earlier." His sly eyes made me squish my legs together, and I wanted our waitress to come over right now and get our orders.
"Hello, My name is Cassy, what would you like to order for today?" Speak of the devil. I couldn't have been more blessed then now.
I said my order quickly, the feelings of blood rush on my face still very prominent from earlier. After I said my order, I sighed, putting my head down in the table.
"Seems like M'Lady is feeling a bit tired." Adrien whispered in my ear, I then felt his warm hand come through the neck hood of my sweatshirt and rub my back softly. It felt amazing, and I felt myself drifting towards sleep because of it.
The thought was cut short when a sudden aura came over the table, causing me to open one eye in the middle of my back rub. I looked towards the opening of the seat before I gasped, looking at the group of my ex-friends in front of me.
Nino and Alya sat there, staring at Adrien and I's interaction. I didn't want to stop the back rub that was offered to me, so I just turned my head and pulled my hood slightly up to avoid Alya and Nino's glare.
"We're sorry." Alya said, sliding into the booth next to me without an invitation. I lifted my head up, pushing Adrien's hands away and looked into her eyes. This wasn't the first time Alya had sided with Lila. She just never really saw through her lies. "I just- you know how much I wanted to know who Ladybug was. When she told me it was you, I was so annoyed and estancia that I just ran with it. I shouldn't have taken it out on you, and I'm sorry that I did."
Alya rarely ever said that she was sorry, so seeing this weird interaction that she was giving me made her actions understandable. If she told me she was sorry, then she really was sorry.
"It's okay, I forgive-."

"You know Marinette is quick to forgive you, that's how she always is. You don't even know how much she cried thinking that she hurt your relationship." Adrien stated in a hushed tone as he looked at Alya. "She might be quick about it, but you have a lot of work to do." I rolled my eyes at Adrien.
I didn't think I was so forgiving.
Alya nodded, then asked, "Is it okay if we join you then?" I was about to huff, but caught myself and nodded, staring at Adrien who was now glaring back at me. Did he have a problem with Nino too?
"Why are you guys all ready back?" Adrien asked, his tone still a tad bit annoyed.
"We came back because you two went missing dude, The teachers made us because it was protocol. A lot of the teachers are still back at the place, but all of the students are back in town to make sure nothing else goes wrong." He explained.
"I see you and Adrien have gotten cozy while we were away. How'd you get back in town anyway, It's not like you had a car, or had a yo-yo like the real ladybug." She joked, I gave a fake laugh back while looking at Adrien.
"Well after I found her, we walked to the closest city. After, we took an Uber from town to town. It wasn't that bad." Adrien commented. I nodded my head to make the story seem more believable.
***
After catching up with our dear friends while eating food, we said our goodbyes. Adrien followed me back home but I stopped him to talk. "Aren't you staying with Nino?" I asked him. He chuckled then shook his head.
"I've had my own place ready for a while now, I've only been staying with Nino so I don't feel you know... alone. When I was with my father, I at least had a bodyguard and Natalie around. Now, I have no one."
I brought my hand up to his face before giving him a slight peck on the cheek. "Is there anything I can do? You know you can stay here, secretly of course." I smiled.
He brought his hand around my waist bringing me closer to him. "You know that staying in your room sounds very appetizing. But I need to ask you a question first," my eyebrows rose as he talked. "What happened with Felix that you were gonna tell me a while ago. I know it was a couple years ago since you saw him, but something had to have happened for you to bring it up again."
I looked around, noticing that we were still conversations in the middle of the sidewalk. The street lights were very bright, and the city was still buzzing.
"It happened as Ladybug, so you can't get mad at me." I said, making a face at him.
"Me, getting made at you?!" He huffed. "I could never M'Lady."
I giggled but then proceeded to tell him a little snippet of the story. "Well, when Felix acted like you, he kind of... tried to force me to kiss him." Adrien had been the first person that I've ever told about this. Seeing Adrien's reaction, I knew I probably shouldn't have said anything.
His green eyes considerably darkened, and his breathing slowly increased. It was obvious he was getting mad. "Don't worry, I punched him back, I know how to hold my own you know." I tried to lighten the move.
"When I get my hands on Felix again-."
"Your not going to do anything, it was a while ago, I was only reminded of it because you said something about Twins." I smiled back.
"Oh but I'll definitely do soemthing." His eyes darkened even more, and I just rolled my eyes in response.
"Hey I have a question." I started, trying to see what could get his mind off of the Felix situation. "What are we?"
