As it stood, Marinette loved Adrien and Adrien loved her. Today was to be their first date and Adrien had a plan, he wasn't exactly ecstatic about it, but he knew Mari would be.

"Where are we going Adrien?" Mari giggled, her eyes covered by Adrien's hands.

"Don't you trust me princess?" Adrien smiled. "Ok, stop!"

Adrien uncovered Mari eyes and her eyes went wide.

"We're going on a gondola ride!"

Mari turned to look at him and he nodded.

The ride was to be an hour long, then they would get lunch and go to the top of the Eiffel, just to be there.

About 30 minutes into the ride, things when south, south being down.

"Adrien, stop moving so much. You're rocking the boat!" Mari laughed as Adrien was half freaking out, as they were in the middle of the river, then it happened.

Adrien's face went white, smile completely gone and eyes wide. Marinette's giggle caught in her throats and she gave a small squeak. The boat flipped.

When the two resurfaced, Adrien was freaking out and flailing in the water while Mari was calm.

In the end, Mari saw Adrien's panic and drug him to the side, where he practically jumped out. Once he was out, he pulled her out.

He stood shivering and pruning himself as Mari laughed.

"Come on Adrien! That was funny."

"No, no, no, no. So cold, so wet. Want to get dry..." Adrien was not happy. He was cold and dripping wet. His clothes were soaked and it wasn't exactly the warmest day.

Marinette giggled to herself and hugged him. Her hug made him warm, his cheeks at least and made his heart speed up. Even if he was a wet cat, he had someone to warm him up with a mere touch.
